Chapter 34: Small Sun
In a cave created by the Ashami, Seraph stood, observing the volcano from close range. [So, you're not going to run away, are you?] Seraph looked behind him.
A sinister streak of light emanated from outside, warning him that if he ventured out, his chances of death were high. Several red streaks floated around. Seraph returned to his original position, looking beneath his feet.
The shoe Seraph had to step on for safety. "Right here. Don't move away from me, if you don't want anything to happen to you."
Seraph spoke up. Seria hugged Seraph tightly, as if he were glued to his body. Wang Lo looked at Seraph suspiciously. "Shouldn't we run outside? If we stay here, the lava will hit us!" Wang Lo put on the expression of a dead frog.
What kind of fool would stand in front of the red lava rising into the sky? Wang Lo wanted to scream. But because she had seen Seraph's ability, a slight movement could resolve the situation, while Seraph was still completely confused. [This kid definitely knew this.]
Jia Yi secretly stood close to Seraph as well. [This kid is so scary, with his face pressed to the ground to lure us away in a hurry?]
Jia Yi tried to get as close to Seraph as possible to protect him and trust him.
Seria hugged Seraph from behind, both hands tightly embracing him, thinking with interest as her eyes shone with the red lava.
"I understand, big brother. It's like this. Seria understands everything now. Seraph used his face to slam against the wall to create a reaction, causing the lava to erupt, didn't he? And she could tell how violent the volcanic eruption would be."
Seria remained calm. [My face was starting to heat up. I doubt I'll be able to start absorbing the energy stones again today.] Time passed.
Behind the entrance where the Seraphs had entered, red lava was flowing at an extremely slow speed. The red light wasn't deadly even if it was touched. Wang Luo's face was as pale as a chicken waiting to be hit by the lava.
"The lava's coming from behind! What should we do? We're dead. We're surrounded from both sides like this. There's no escape!!"
As Wang Lo began to pray to God,
Seria's gaze focused on Seraph. That path was now empty. "What do you want, Brother Seraph? The lava's coming from behind like this. So this is why I didn't run that way, huh?"
Seria's eyes remained faithful to her brother. Seraph held onto Seria's hand, telling her to let go of the glue-like grip she had on him.
Seria obediently released her hand. The three people's gazes were looking at Seraph, wondering what they should do.
Seraph reached out to hold onto Seria's hand. "Don't let go! Close your eyes if you want to survive!"
Wang Lo quickly grabbed Seria's hand, using the other to hold Jia Yi. The four of them showed their unity.
The three of them began to close their eyes tightly.
Seraph looked at the footprints of fortune, telling them to run forward. [Seriously? Running through the lava? This way, they'll get roasted. There's no other choice.]
Seraph ran along the golden footprints, his face showing that he was going to die anyway.
The lava was clear. A large rock rolled from the hole and crashed into the lava.
At this moment, the lava-filled scene in front of Seraph was temporarily lavaized thanks to the rock blocking the path. Seraph and the other three managed to escape, just as the rock fell to the ground. Phew!
The lava was still covering the entrance.
Seraph looked down and saw something glowing red.
The field around Seraph was filled with erupting lava, with just enough space to step on. The surrounding lava couldn't get close to the magical items below. Seraph floated in mid-air, powered by the power of his magical clothing. "Open your eyes now!"
The three opened their eyes and looked around. "Where are we?" "Wang Lo asked Seraph curiously, looking up at the sky. Red lava covered the surrounding area like a dome. For example, it would be like being in a fountain, but inside it. Seria answered, understanding everything.
"Of course, it must be the lava wall. At one point while running forward, we ran through the lava. My Seraph calculated that the lava would disappear at that moment, so that's why I felt the heat. Is this your goal today?"
Seria gave him the look of a police officer whose job it is to maintain equality.
Seraph nodded, looking at a magical item on the ground. [I wanted to say that I wanted to go home. If it weren't for you, I would have gone back to begin training to advance to the first rank of martial artist. But it seems like this item... I have to get it.]
Seraph looked at the magical item with a golden line of luck extending out and colliding with Seraph's body. "I'm interested in this item."
Seraph quickly added. Seraph looked at Wang Lo. "Mr. Wang Lo, you don't think this is for you?"
Wang Lo quickly spoke up to clear up the misunderstanding. "Don't worry, we just want to know what we did. But we have no solid evidence. We were destroyed by a volcano. There's only evidence of sedation and kidnapping."
Wang Lo felt sad at his task. It wasn't over yet.
Seraph floated down to the ground and looked at the magical item in front of him. It looked like a small red sun, like a child's toy. Seraph reached out, ready to grab the small sun. His hand, which was getting closer to the sun, began to emit intense heat, causing him to burn even more as he got closer.
Seraph immediately stopped his hand and quickly brought it back to its original position. [It's so hot. Who could reach it? What should we do?] ]
Seraph looked at the three people staring at Seraph for not taking the magical item. Seraph was about to ask if anyone had a better way to get it.
Seria shouted hurriedly, "Wait a minute! Brother Seraph, I know my duty..."
Seraph stared at the girl who was shouting, "Why does this girl have good ideas?" "Seraph, please speak, Seria."
"Heh heh, that's all. I know what you're thinking. Brother, you're holding this magical item. Your goal is to get us out, right? This magical ability prevents the surrounding lava from approaching. So, the area we're standing on will be burned to death by the lava. Seria, you're holding the lava. Brother, you're trying to test Seria's knowledge, right?"
Seraph nodded. [There's no time for talking. Let's go home. It's a big deal. If you take this magical item and go outside, or rather, when people start to gather, it'll attract attention. I better hurry home.]
"Alright, let's go."
Seria grabbed a small sun and put energy into it. The four of them were able to navigate smoothly thanks to a magical item that could push lava away, or rather, prevent it from getting close.
