Chapter 45 - Constellations in Motion

The Emerald Wind and the Thousand Sunny met again in a quiet cove along a crescent-shaped island. For the first time in weeks, the full crew stood together — though the air carried more urgency than relief.

The Reunion

Lyra was the first to speak, holding the green, seed-like relic from the jungle Flameborne.

"We got the Verdant Verse… but the jungle's guardian made it clear — if it's sung at the wrong time, it will smother as easily as it will protect."

Orren placed the ice crystal from the north on the table beside it.

"And this one could freeze the world if we're not careful."

Nami unrolled a star chart. The constellation points they'd gathered glowed faintly on the parchment, but two new ones — one violet, one gold — now pulsed rapidly.

Robin's eyes narrowed.

"They're moving. Not fixed in the sky… but traveling across it."

The Flameborne's Warning

The magma, ice, jungle, and wind relics all began to hum in unison. From their glow, shimmering projections of each Flameborne appeared — not full forms, but fragments of their voices and faces.

The wind Flameborne spoke first:

"The Serpent has begun weaving the verses together out of order."

The jungle guardian's voice followed:

"If it completes a false Song before you do, the world will obey it — even if it means ending life."

The Serpent's Play

From the relics came another sound — low and steady, like a drumbeat. Lyra froze.

"That's not part of the Song. That's the Serpent's own rhythm… it's forcing the verses to align early."

Zoro gripped his swords.

"Then we stop it before it finishes."

The projections flickered. The ice Flameborne's voice cut in:

"The violet light marks the Flameborne of Storms. The gold is the Flameborne of Dawn. If you split your strength again, you may not survive either."

Decision at the Table

Silence fell over the crew. Finally, Arkan stood.

"We stay together. The Serpent's tempo is too fast for us to waste time apart. We go after the Storm first — if the Dawn flame moves beyond reach, we'll deal with it when we can."

Nami tapped the chart.

"Storm's light is circling an island chain in the South Blue. Weather there's… impossible."

Franky smirked.

"Then we make a ship that likes impossible."

Final Scene

As they prepared to set sail, the relics pulsed one last time. From the magma shard came a single phrase, spoken in a deep, warning tone:

"When the Serpent sings, the sea will rise to answer it."

Out on the horizon, dark clouds were already forming — and in the lightning flashes, a shape coiled between the waves.
