From the crumbled depths of Impel Down's Level 6, a new force emerged—one the world never anticipated. Arkan stood at the front, his brother Ace beside him, their shadows stretching long behind them under the flickering prison lights.
Their steps echoed in unity, each footfall a declaration: the bloodline of Gol D. Roger was marching back into history.
Level 5
Monkey D. Luffy stumbled forward, soaked in blood and sweat, his fists clenched. Behind him trailed Ivankov, Inazuma, and a ragtag band of Newkama warriors who had followed him through hell and frost.
They reached the entrance to Level 6.
"ACE!" Luffy screamed, only to freeze as the dust cleared.
There he was. Not just Ace—but someone else. Taller, broader, cloaked in flame and shadow. The air shifted as the stranger turned.
Luffy's eyes widened. The sensation he felt—like staring into a mountain that could move.
"You..."
Arkan stepped forward slowly. "So you're the one who inherited Dragon's will."
Luffy blinked. "Huh?"
Ace coughed. "Luffy, this is my brother. Our brother. Gol D. Arkan."
Ivankov's jaw dropped. "Wait. WHAT?!"
Arkan approached Luffy and extended a hand. "You've come far, Monkey D. Luffy. But this path leads to a war you're not ready for."
Luffy looked at the hand, then back up. "I'm not backing down. Ace is my brother."
Arkan smiled faintly. "Then we walk together."
Control Room, Impel Down
Magellan stood over dozens of collapsed guards. The poison dripping from his body hissed as he moved.
He watched through the surveillance feed as Arkan led an army of prisoners upward.
"Seal the exits," he ordered. "Delay them if you must."
"But sir," a trembling officer replied, "that's Gol D. Arkan. No wall will stop him."
Level 4: The Blazing Hell
A wall of fire surged up as the escapees reached the magma-pools.
Crocodile, Jozu, Jinbe, Ivankov, Mr. 1, even Buggy—now unwillingly part of history—joined the charge.
"Leave this to me," Ace said, stepping forward. "I'll show them fire they've never imagined."
His flames, finally free from the sea-stone, erupted like a phoenix reborn. With one punch, he cleared the way for the group.
Arkan nodded with pride, then turned and smashed through the next gate with a Haki-infused roar.
Outside Impel Down
The sea raged. Marines stationed at the gates fired cannons as ships circled the waters, but nothing could prepare them for the force that burst through the upper entrance like a tidal wave of flame and fury.
Arkan leapt into the open air, his cloak ablaze, followed by Luffy and Ace. Behind them, the greatest prison break in history unfolded.
The World Government's worst nightmare had come true:
The Brothers D. were united.
Marineford War Room
Sengoku stared at the report, lips thin.
"Impel Down has fallen."
Akainu snarled. "And he's bringing the prisoners straight to us."
Garp was silent.
Aboard the Moby Dick
Whitebeard burst out laughing. "GUHAHAHA! That bastard did it. He cracked Impel Down wide open!"
Marco grinned. "Guess the tides are turning."
That night, in every corner of the world—from pirate dens to noble halls—news spread like wildfire:
Gol D. Arkan has returned.
Ace has been freed.
War is coming.
And at the center of it all stood three brothers, bound not just by blood, but by fire, will, and the name D.
The world would never be the same.
