Chapter 375 - Chapter 375 : Boruto is forced to call sister

Fugaku's extreme shift in expression shocked everyone—especially Sasuke, who had never seen this side of his father before.

In his memory, his father had always been a stern, serious man. But now... he looked almost fake. Cheerful. Even humorous.

Then, Fugaku finally asked the question that had been weighing on everyone's minds.

"But why did future Sasuke come to this era?"

Sasuke explained everything he knew about the Ōtsutsuki clan. He told them that the current threat was Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, who had come in search of the Nine-Tails' chakra, and that the purpose of their journey was to protect the Naruto of this era.

Then, he revealed that Boruto was Naruto's son.

Little Sasuke's face lit up. He burst out laughing, clearly overjoyed. Boruto is so filial!

He actually called his own father a big idiot! I have to take this guy as my disciple someday... and then give Naruto a piece of my mind!

But adult Sasuke wasn't smiling. He looked deeply conflicted.

He knew exactly what his younger self was thinking—trying to make Naruto's son into his personal fanboy.

But the real problem was... his daughter had already become Naruto's number-one fangirl. o(╥﹏╥)o

That damn Naruto!

Fugaku and Itachi couldn't figure out why the two versions of Sasuke were reacting so differently—one happy, one visibly annoyed.

Among everyone present, only Uchiha Hikaru understood the full story.

"In that case," Hikaru said, "I'll issue two temporary passes for you to move freely through Konoha."

"There's no need to hide. Just find Jiraiya and Naruto, explain everything to them."

Sasuke turned to him, confused. He had never heard of Uchiha Hikaru before.

"According to the intelligence shared with us," Sasuke replied, "every action we take in this timeline could affect the future. That's why I want to avoid meeting Naruto directly. I plan to protect him from the shadows, silently."

"Boruto and I have already caused enough ripples."

Hikaru looked at Sasuke's troubled expression and could already guess what he was thinking—how to erase everyone's memories of Boruto, himself, and the Ōtsutsuki once all of this was over.

Hikaru remained silent for a moment. Then, without warning, he activated his Mangekyō Sharingan—and followed it by unveiling his Rinnegan.

The originally azure Mangekyō morphed into something far more profound. Though the kaleidoscope patterns remained, the color shifted from blue to deep violet. The ripple-patterned rings of the Rinnegan—three concentric circles—radiated from his pupil.

"Don't worry about the consequences of your presence," Hikaru said calmly. "I've time-traveled three or four times already. This won't affect your future."

"The world is like a giant tree. Each branch represents a different path. If the trunk is altered, new branches sprout."

"The past you and Boruto returned to is the past of your own world. I recently wandered around the World Tree. That must've left some residual chakra. The plow—that meddling presence—must've followed it here, dragging you along."

His words made Fugaku nod seriously. His eye techniques allowed glimpses into the future—he could understand what Hikaru meant.

Itachi wore a thoughtful expression. So that's how it is...

Boruto, on the other hand, looked completely lost—not that he cared. He was too busy whispering embarrassing Naruto stories with little Sasuke, and enjoying every second of it.

Sasuke now understood why they had ended up here. And though the clarity was welcome, it left him with mixed feelings.

On one hand, this world—because of Hikaru's presence—had avoided disaster. The Uchiha survived. The ninja world was calmer, more progressive, even forming something like a Ninja Association. It felt stable, hopeful.

On the other hand, it hurt. If someone like Hikaru had existed in his world… his family could've lived. Maybe even thrived.

Sasuke took a deep breath and then updated Hikaru, Itachi, and Fugaku on various threats and organizations from the future—like the mysterious Kara group and others.

Suddenly, the heavy wooden door at the top of the stairs creaked open. Two figures stepped through, silhouetted by sunlight. Everyone turned.

Backlit like heroes emerging from the shadows were Uchiha Mikoto and Uchiha Saya.

Each carried a basket in their hands as they descended the steps.

Little Sasuke sprinted over, grabbed his mother's basket, and then took Saya as well.

"Mom, Sister Saya, let me carry these."

After being thoroughly disciplined by saya, Sasuke had learned one very important lesson: respect your teachers and keep your mouth shut.

Once, Saya had spanked him. Another time, she kicked him—way harder than Uchiha Hikaru ever did.

Now, in front of "Sister Saya," he transformed into the picture of obedience. Sasuke watched his younger self in stunned silence.

Was I really this respectful and well-behaved at this age...?

Back then, I was probably already off chasing Orochimaru, getting groomed like some twisted prodigy. The peak of my middle school edginess...

Boruto, who'd been watching the scene unfold, finally locked eyes with Saya.

"You're... Uchiha Saya?"

Hikaru tilted her head, sizing up the kid who looked suspiciously like Naruto.

"You know me?"

"You're Naruto's brother or something...?"

Before Boruto could say anything else, Saya pulled a fat stack of 10,000-ryō bills from her pocket and shoved it into his hand.

"If you're Naruto's little brother, then from now on, call me 'Sister Saya,' got it?"

Boruto stared blankly at the money, then quickly tried to return it.

"No, wait—Saya, that's not what I—"

But Saya eye twitched. Her Mangekyō Sharingan flared with menace.

"Call me Sister Saya. Sister. Say it. Right. Now. (╬ಠ益ಠ)"

The overwhelming pressure made Boruto freeze up. His instincts screamed that if he resisted, he'd die.

"S-Sister Saya…" he mumbled reluctantly.

Though the words burned his pride, he had no choice.

Satisfied, Saya returned to her seat next to Uchiha Hikaru. Fugaku joined Mikoto nearby. The others arranged themselves around the interrogation table:

At the head sat Uchiha Hikaru and Saya.

To their right: Fugaku and Mikoto.

To their left: Sasuke and Itachi.

And across the table: Little Sasuke and Boruto—now deep in conversation about how Naruto had once gotten stuck in a tree trying to retrieve a balloon.
