Chapter 2 - THE STAR IN THEIR OWN STORM

While ji-ah struggling and jugling with her life

Somewhere else, in a world far more glittering than Ji-ah had ever known…

Cameras flashed like fireworks. Lights flooded the red carpet as fans screamed for a glimpse of their idol.

Kang Hyun-min stood under the spotlight, face unreadable, jaw set. His suit was flawless, his smile automatic.

KANG HYUN-MIN

Kang Hyun-min was the kind of man who could silence a room just by walking into it. Calm, cold, and unreadable — a perfect star manufactured by years of spotlight. People called him charming; Ji-soo called him exhausting.

While Ji-ah struggled with the weight of her world, another version of her — Ji-soo — was living under flashing lights.

JI-SOO

Ji-soo wasn't known for her warmth. She wore her beauty like armor and her words like blades. Fame had polished her to perfection, but anyone who got too close learned she didn't let people in — not without a fight.

The headlines were already flooding social media.

"Nation's Sweetheart and the Ice Queen? Caught Together Again!"

And right behind the velvet rope stood Ji-soo — Korea's most enigmatic actress — looking more like a goddess than a human. Cold, beautiful, untouchable.

But behind that perfect image, a storm had already begun to brew.

Kang Hyun-min stared at the message flashing on his phone. Headlines, gossip, fan edits—dozens pouring in by the minute.

"Are they dating?"

"Real or fake?"

"Hyun-min and Ji-soo caught holding hands at the afterparty!"

He let out a breath, not even angry—just tired. He tossed the phone on the table of his dressing room and leaned back in the chair. The reflection in the mirror didn't even feel like him anymore.

His secretary, Seo Jun-ha, stepped in with a clipboard and a crooked grin.

"You're trending again," Jun-ha said, flipping through the updates. "Number one. All over Asia."

"I didn't even do anything."

"Exactly why they love you."

Hyun-min smirked slightly, but it didn't reach his eyes.

Across the hall, Ji-soo was fuming. Her makeup was halfway done when she stormed off the chair, tablet in hand, heels clicking against the floor. She burst into Hyun-min's room without knocking, her expression sharp.

"You think this is some kind of joke?" she snapped, waving the screen in front of him. "This dating rumor? Your team leaked it, didn't they?"

Hyun-min stood, as calm as ever. "I had nothing to do with it."

"Then who did? You're using my name to boost your drama's ratings."

"I don't need you for that," he said flatly. "I've been a top actor for five years. You're not doing me a favor."

She laughed bitterly. "You've got no clue how this makes me look."

"And you think I care how you look?"

Their voices rose, sharp and cold. Staff nearby froze, unsure whether to step in or hide. The tension had reached its boiling point.

"Enough!"

The door swung open and the company CEO walked in with a thunderous voice that silenced them both.

"I want you in my office. Now."

Minutes later, they sat on opposite sides of his desk, arms folded, faces tight with annoyance.

"You'll act as a couple," the CEO said without emotion. "Publicly, privately, until this drama ends."

"No way," Ji-soo muttered.

"Not happening," Hyun-min added.

"Then pack your things," the CEO replied, tossing a folder of cancelled endorsements on the table. "This is the industry. You play the game, or you lose it all."

Neither of them responded. Their silence wasn't acceptance—it was surrender.

Afterward, Jun-ha tossed Hyun-min a water bottle as they left the building.

"She's not easy," Jun-ha commented. "But you didn't have to push her."

Hyun-min looked out at the street, the glow of fans and reporters still buzzing outside. "She just gets under my skin."

"She's just like you," Jun-ha said simply. "That's why."

Meanwhile, Ji-soo paced in her trailer, her hands clenched in frustration.

"He's impossible," she muttered.

Da-eun, her manager and closest friend, sat beside her with calm eyes. "You're both the same—stubborn, sharp, guarded."

Ji-soo's voice softened. "Exactly. That's why I can't stand him."

The evening came quickly. A riverside bridge had been transformed into a fantasy set—soft lights, cold wind, and cameras waiting to roll. It was the final emotional scene of the drama.

Ji-soo stood in a white dress, her long hair curling gently in the breeze. Hyun-min joined her, dressed in black, the contrast between them cinematic.

"Scene 47," the director called. "Cue the kiss."

They stepped forward slowly, eyes locked. The scene required tension—two enemies becoming lovers. The wind whispered around them, and everything felt surreal.

Then, just as their lips neared, Ji-soo's expression shifted.

She blinked. Her knees buckled. And without a word, she collapsed backward—over the railing, into the river below.

"Ji-soo!" Hyun-min shouted, lunging forward.

But it was too late. She disappeared into the dark water.

Screams echoed behind them. Staff rushed forward. Da-eun covered her mouth in shock. Jun-ha's eyes widened in horror.

And somewhere between stars and time, deep under the surface, Ji-soo's body floated in silence.

A soft glow began to surround her.

A voice echoed in the dark.

"Do you have a wish?"

When she open her eyes the being voice came over to her ears

She didn't respond at first. Then finally, faintly, she whispered, "No. There's no wish without price."

"But the price has already been paid," said the voice. "A girl named Ji-ah."

Images flickered through her mind—a small apartment, a quiet girl with tired eyes, walking through life like a ghost. Someone who looked just like her… but lived a world away.

"If I take her place," Ji-soo asked, "can I change her life?"

"As you wish."

"Will I ever return?"

"One day," the voice said gently. "But not yet."

"Then... let it be," she whispered.can i live my life as I want the being replied until and unless u play as ji-ah, ji-soo agrees to change her life

And with that—

Somewhere far away, a hospital monitor beeped to life.

Ji-ah opened her eyes. Harsh lights. White walls. Confused whispers around her.

"You're finally awake." da- eun said to ji-ah who also came to this world by the wish of ji-ah ,

da-eun who is the manager of ji soo also enters in the different world with ji-soo

But both world da-eun share same face as well their names

Ji-ah blinked in shock.

All happened in the blink of eye and they screamed that " We live in our fantasy "
