Waking up immediately confirmed my suspicions to me.
I felt like shit.
But I should be grateful that I only feel like I have the flu after pushing myself to the point of extreme several times in a single say including getting almost my entire body regenerated several times. I think I'll need some time to recover.
"Mmhh..."
What is this weight on top of me? It feels like an oversized baby koala is hanging onto me, or more like an adult Koala I suppose. I gently lifted my blanket to reveal a familiar face, that of Toga clinging onto me as if for dear life, both arms and legs wrapped around my torso and legs.
How did she sneak into here? No wait, dumb question, this is my stealth savant girlfriend we are talking about.
Still, looking at her like this brought up conflicting feelings within me.
Not a single bruise was on her, Recovery Girl must have healed her.
I softly brushed her hair.
I'd totally be dead without her, right?
She leaned into my touch like a cute cat and I couldn't help but release a fond sigh at the sight.
"I really don't get what you are..."
I lightly poked her cheek and she grumbled.
Why did seeing her get hurt made me react so much? I'd seen my "friends" get executed in front of my very eyes. Yet the thought of leaving behind caused such a visceral reaction within me?
Am I catching feelings? I don't think I had any left within me in the first place.
Feeling my touch, Toga seemed to get roused to the waking world, she lifted her head and stared me in the eyes before releasing a relieved sigh.
"Oh, good morning, Hakari-kun."
"Good morning to you too, sleeping beauty. When did you sneak in here?"
I tried to lift the mood with a jest, but Toga did not seem impressed as she rubbed against my chest, putting her ear against my ribcage and listening to my heartbeat.
"A while ago. I couldn't wait to see you, so I snuck in through the window and locked the door from the inside."
Classical Toga.
"I'm sorry, did I worry you?"
If I was that worried about Toga, how much was she worried about me? I may be a bit dense, but even I can recognize how bad it must have looked from her perspective.
She nodded her head slightly and looked away.
"...I was worried."
She said shortly in a clipped tone, as if not even wanting to say it out loud, that told me more than she could have said in words. I wrapped my arms around her tighter and she continued speaking.
"When that 'Nomu' hit you, I felt like I died. I can't imagine living without you Hakari-kun, I don't want to see you hurt. Does that make me sound pathetic? I don't want to see you die, ever, Hakari-kun."
I chuckled lightly and kissed her in the forehead to make her look at me.
As expected, I cannot withstand Toga looking like this. I am a rather weak man as it turns out.
The last thing I wanted to make her worried sick for me like this. Or worried for me in general. She placed absolute trust in me, she believed in me, I couldn't betray that trust.
"Don't worry Toga, I promise, I will never die, no matter what, no matter who I am up against."
Toga's eyes were filled with indescribable wonder as I bit my thumb, letting some blood flow out before putting thumb into Toga's mouth, immediately I felt her lick out of reflex.
"Taste that blood? It's warm, I'm alive. And that blood will never go cold."
Toga nodded hesitantly and started lapping away at my thumb with a blush, her thighs squirmed, and she rubbed up against me. And I could tell with my experience and familiarity with Toga where this was going.
At some point, Toga seemed to pavlov herself that drinking my blood meant that we would basically jump to sex due to how often we did it afterward. Which was what I'd prefer now too. Both us could use a bit of de-stressing right now.
We were in a hospital room? Well, Toga said she locked the door, and I was quite confident in my ability to clean up the place before anyone came.
Well, after both of us came I mean.

After Toga was plenty satisfied after 5 rounds of intense sex(thank chaos I carried blankets to lay over the beds here in my bag) I finally left my room while letting Toga catch some much-needed sleep. I was going to door cross to the showers but I did not know the layout well enough to do so, so my legs it was. But as I left the room, I encountered someone I didn't expect waiting for me.
"Good morning Hakari-kun! You must have been quite exhausted after all of that healing." Standing in front of my door was my favorite UA High Principal, Nezu. He sniffed the air a moment, and his grin tilted a little. "And I won't judge the youth on what they do in their free time, but you should remember there is a time and place for everything, young man."
Don't blame me for overlooking scent? How could I have expected to run into the man with the biggest nose in UA himself, Nezu the moment I got out? Thankfully my trait [Nothing Strange] meant he only chastised me for breaking Toga's back in the hospital room.
I bowed my head and scratched the back of my neck in response. Even if I did not feel the slightest bit of guilt, I should at least look a little apologetic.
"Right, I'll keep that in mind, Principal. Did you have something you needed to say to me?"
Nezu nodded, and he suddenly moved forward climbing onto my shoulders with unprecedented agility, he sat down on my shoulder with very practiced movements and I made no move to resist. I have no idea why he does it but he doesn't weigh more than a wet blanked so I didn't mind.
"Of course I do! You put yourself on the line to save my teacher's Hakari-kun, not only that, but you got hurt under UA's watch. Which is unacceptable. So, as the principal of UA, I'd like to formally apologize to you and thank you for helping my teachers."
Doesn't feel very formal when he is on my shoulders but I'll take it.
"Don't be like that principal, you'll make me feel awkward. But I appreciate it."
Nezu chuckled and patted my head.
"You're welcome Hakari-kun, it's the least I could do. Now then, however, there are some things I'd like to discuss with you about your living situation, especially after a villain swore vengence on you."
The half an hour afterward was spent with me walking around the Hospital with Nezu on my shoulder as he explained to me about how the UA dorms were going to be established earlier than in canon, and that he was asking me for me to be the first student to live in the dormitories.
To be honest, the big rat man was cutting me an extremely beneficial deal here. Partly because he was trying to compensate me for USJ, most probably thanks to [Hero's Reward] which I appreciated a lot.
Basically, I'd be having the entire dorms all to myself until the other students were allowed to move in there, and I could renegotiate about the terms of my stay later if I was dissatisfied with something. I also had unrestricted access to the state-of-the-art equipment of the dorms like gym and such as well as access to the training grounds and such around the clock.
Of course, I could read the subtext below that he was worried about All for One potentially taking an interest in me, but to be honest, I don't think that guy was capable of caring about anything other than being a "Demon Lord" and his hate boner for "All Might".
So, I agreed to Nezu's deal without hesitation. After our deal was struck, Nezu leapt down from my shoulder to arrange things while I went on my way to the showers, feeling more refreshed and less stressed about the future now that I had Nezu's implicit support.

What the fuck did I just monologue about?
Well, it's a good thing I'm still in a hospital, because I think I just had a heart attack.

"Sensei! This is unfair! This bullshit, he was cheating! You said only the Nomu had multiple quirks, but he was pulling cheats left and right! And the Nomu did nothing! We got defeated so easily."
All for One scratched his chin as his pupil ranted to the camera, instead of his actual eyes that he had lost, he was using several different sensory quirks to scan the footage he was given to by the doctor and the Spy quirk he implanted in some of the Nomu.
As expected, All Might was weakened immensely, which brought him unparalelled joy, he didn't expect Nomu to be able to kill All Might in the first place so he was not dissappointed. Though there was something even more interesting than All Might's current state that was relayed to him.
A boy, with multiple quirks at that. He initially assumed from the report that it was simply a quirk that had multiple functions instead of multiple actual quirks, similar to the quirk of Endeavors brat.
But the footage of his fight with Tomura had proved him sorely wrong.
"Calm down Tomura, this was just a test. Now that you have experienced it first hand, you know the value of having proper allies to help you and know what to be prepared for. This is just a stepping stone for you."
Tomura stilled and All for One fell into thought. That boy Hakari, definitely had multiple quirks, his unfamiliarity with his abilities and his surprise, the sheer distinctness of each quirk. And not to mention the name of his quirk.
One and All.
A quirk that creates new quirks.
All for One.
A quirk that takes quirks.
It could not have been a coincidence, it simply must have been fate. What were the chances that he would find a child like this when his body was failing?
A physique adapted to producing quirks, although immature with his apparent limit of only being able to use a few at once, it would be perfect. It would be the perfect new host body for him to take over, and it was a quirk that would complete his own along with One for All.
But he was still immature, and he already spent so much time grooming Tomura into the perfect successor.
"But, what can I do about that guy, Sensei!? I want to kill him so bad! As bad as All Might! But he just keeps on healing, like a shitty buggy health bar!"
All for One's lips curled as an idea came to mind.
Tomura still had his uses.
"Tomura, it's alright, I have been meaning to give you a gift for a while. A 'power up' as you would put it. One that would make you much stronger for your next proper debut. Strong enough to face your rival and surpass them."
"Really Sensei!?"
"Yes, really. But you must properly assemble your own team to show me I can trust you with this power."
Shigaraki against Hakari. He wondered which one would prevail.
A hatred he cultivated with his very hands from their very birth, or a miracle born of pure chance with a power opposite to his very own who was born on that very same day.
He couldn't wait to see.
A/N: Hakari and Toga work so unbelievably well together. It is a delight to write them. Hakari is a good influence on Toga, and somehow, Toga is a good influence on Hakari. But I guess when you multiply two negatives, you get a positive. What did you guys think about the small scene between Hakari and Toga?
All for One is aroused- I mean All for One's curiosity is roused. With the existence of Hakari being thrown at him he can't help but reconsider his plans, of which were really vague in the first place so he really did not lose much I suppose. But with this, the plot has taken the drastic turn. Hakari will be facing a proper rival now. What do you guys think?
