Chapter 144 - Chapter 147 : Outrageous Skills!!

Hephaestus walked into the room and looked at the two of them. "Since nothing happened, it's time to work."

"Hey, Hephaestus, do you even have a heart? Ren just spent a night in the dungeon, and now you want him to work right after he comes back?" Hestia's voice was sharp and protective, like a mother cat guarding her kitten.

"Then Hestia, how about you do it?" Hephaestus snorted coldly.

"I'll do it, fine. Selling a weapon isn't hard. Anyone can do it." Hestia immediately took over, rolling up her sleeves, ready to work hard. In her eyes, if Ren could sell it so easily, it shouldn't be difficult.

Hephaestus didn't say anything. She felt she needed a lesson in reality.

"I'll do it then," Ren said quietly. He didn't dare mention that he had just slept for a while in the dungeon. If he said it, he would get scolded.

"Ren, just rest today. Selling a weapon isn't a big deal, I can do it too," Hestia said, trying to pat his shoulder. But because of the height difference, she could only sound serious.

As expected, Hestia failed miserably. She couldn't understand why she couldn't sell anything, and Hephaestus ended up sending her to clean instead.

That night, Hestia returned to the room. Ren had rearranged it into two separate spaces, divided by a curtain. Hestia didn't mind, but he, as a normal man, had a natural reaction to the situation.

"Hestia-sama, I want to update the data," Ren said seriously.

"Alright, lie down."

Ren was already prepared. He lay down shirtless. Hestia sat softly on his legs. Even through his pants, he could feel her warmth, but by now, he was used to it.

"Ren, actually, you don't have to rush. Even if you don't grow stronger, you are still my child," Hestia said, but she still updated his data.

Ren knew why she said that. He usually updated his data every two or three days, but the increase was tiny. But since he was her only follower, Hestia never got impatient.

"Actually…" Hestia's words suddenly stopped.

"Hestia-sama, what is it?" Ren noticed her body stiffen.

"This can't be real… Is this a divine miracle?" Hestia had lived for a long time, but she had never seen data like this before.

Previously, Ren's updates only increased a little or not at all. What was happening now? And those abilities…

She quickly printed the data and handed it to Ren, curiosity written all over her face.

How could a human's data suddenly become so extraordinary, as if they had transformed from an ordinary person into a hero overnight?

Staring at these stats, Ren froze. This was already far stronger than the original male lead.

He had been filtering through the pirate Ren's memories, and the other had constantly been thinking about new recruits and the breakthroughs their talents could bring.

At this moment, he truly felt the power this brought. The skills he carried were already strong enough, and he even carried the presence of a god.

In this world full of deities, did this mean he could become a god? Ren couldn't help but wonder.

"Ren, why are you frozen? I'm the one who should be frozen. If I hadn't learned the Sword God was still in the upper realm, I would have thought you were the Sword God yourself. Wait, a few months ago you didn't even have these. What did you encounter in the dungeon this time?"

Hestia asked, clearly shocked. Compared to the excitement of other gods, she was more worried about what Ren had faced to cause such a change.

"Sorry, I got a little carried away," Ren snapped back to reality, then grew excited again. He remembered how Hestia had been mocked by other gods not long ago, and now he finally felt he could hold his head high.

"So, Ren, what exactly did you encounter in the dungeon?" Hestia asked anxiously, knowing all of his stats inside out.

"Well…" Ren hesitated, unsure how to answer. Could he really say that he had been pushed to such high potential because of the Shared Rens?

Hestia wouldn't leak it, but this city was watched by the gods. If he said it carelessly and it was detected, it could be disastrous.

"You can't tell me?" Hestia looked a little hurt. She considered him true family, but she understood that some secrets had to be kept.

"Hestia-sama, it's not that I can't say it. It's just that the other side doesn't want to reveal themselves," Ren thought for a moment and decided to invent a story.

"I see… as long as you're okay," Hestia said, relieved, smiling warmly.

At that moment, Ren remembered when he first arrived in Orario. He had wanted to join a powerful familia like Loki's or Freya's. As a traveler from another world, he thought it would be easy, but reality hit him hard.

When he was doubting his life choices, he met Hestia. He had expected to be rejected, but she was incredibly excited to accept him.

Ren was truly grateful. Watching her smile, he couldn't help but smile too.

"You're not allowed to stay overnight in the dungeon anymore. I'm really worried about you," Hestia said softly, stopping her laughter.

"Alright, Hestia-sama. I'll make sure to return quickly from now on."

"Then it's fine. Lie down again. I'll help you level up and see what development potential you have." Hestia climbed onto the bed and beckoned to Ren.

"Okay." Ren obediently lay down, letting her sit beside him. He was actually a bit curious about his potential. Normally, a swordsman couldn't trigger abilities at Level 1, yet he already had the passive skill Sword God.

"Ren, you have three… Barbarian, Assassin, and Berserker," Hestia said in shock. If any other god were present, their curiosity would have made them want to dissect Ren to confirm.

"Do they correspond to strength, speed, and a balance of both?"

This made Ren think of the three selves from—Overlord, Naruto, and One Piece—which matched them perfectly.

"Yes, specifically, I recommend the Berserker. It improves both strength and speed," Hestia said as she looked at his development potential.

"Alright, then Berserker it is."

Ren knew this was brought to him by Pirate Ren, who was the most balanced in development. The Sword God skill came from Overlord Ren. Simply put, he had been carried forward.

"Good."

Soon, Hestia finished upgrading Ren. His level became Lv2. All previous stats were reset, but he gained the extra development potential from Berserker.

Ren couldn't feel any increase in his power. It seemed like his strength was still being suppressed.

If nothing went wrong, a trip to the dungeon and a few casual fights would get him another 3S upgrade. Life suddenly felt like it had taken a shortcut.

Ren immediately adjusted his strategy. Future stat updates would need to be slower—standing out too much wasn't good.
