The captured Marines were sent to Fish-Man Island for detention.
They were guarded by Barrier Fruit users, and of course, all the Marines were injured and couldn't cause any trouble.
The Barrier Fruits had been collected during Ren's period.
Although he didn't eat them himself, Devil Fruits were undoubtedly a way to become stronger, and giving them to his subordinates was perfect.
"Brother Ren, the World Government's Den Den Mushi is here," a fish-man hurriedly said as he entered Ren's room.
Ren took the Den Den Mushi and connected the call to the World Government.
"Donquixote Ren."
"Yo, hope you've been well," Ren greeted casually.
"Ren, look at the trouble you've caused," came the voice.
"Weren't you the ones who forced my hand? I just refused your request, and now you're putting a bounty on me. Isn't that a bit unreasonable?" Ren replied into the Den Den Mushi.
"The orders of that great one are absolute," the voice said firmly.
"Ren, how long do you plan to stay on Fish-Man Island? Waiting until Pluton is found and revealed?"
"That's the plan. It's better to be prepared for war," Ren joked lightly.
"Is that so? Today, an island in the Four Seas that rebelled against the World Government disappeared," the Den Den Mushi reported calmly, as if it were nothing serious.
Seeing no response from Ren, the voice continued, "It's fine. The next target is Amazon Lily. You know it, don't you? The island where your former slave, Boa Hancock, lives."
"Looks like I have no choice. Tell me where your ambush is, and I'll come," Ren said coldly.
He knew the World Government had already planned to reshuffle the board and wouldn't wait for him to reveal Pluton.
"Straightforward. The location is New World's Egghead Island."
"Not taking the Marines anymore? And where exactly is Egghead Island?"
"Isn't Sengoku and Garp already in your hands? The rest…" Warrior God of Science and Defense didn't continue, but the meaning was clear.
The World Government no longer cared about the Marines, and some things couldn't be shown to them.
"If you don't show up tomorrow, Amazon Lily will disappear from the map."
After saying this, the Five Elders hung up.
Ren's expression darkened.
The Five Elders must have thoroughly investigated him in the past and knew his weak points.
As for the news spread, he himself had spread it—there was no way he didn't know what was real or fake.
"This really is a trap," Ren sighed deeply.
He didn't plan to mention what will happen to Amazon Lily, but he gave the order to prepare for the assault on Egghead Island immediately.
There was no time to delay; if they didn't leave now, tomorrow might be too late.
Although it was strange not to make some preparations, the fishmen and the Mink Tribe, led by Ren, didn't question his decision.
Kaido wanted a great battle, and the sooner, the better.
The pirate fleet set sail toward the New World.
Ren then went to the place where Sengoku was held.
"Sengoku, where is Egghead Island located?"
Sengoku kept his eyes closed and ignored Ren.
"That's fine if you don't tell me," Ren shrugged. "But if I don't go there tomorrow, every night, one island and its country in this world will disappear. If that doesn't matter to you, then it doesn't matter to me either."
"What? Islands will disappear?" Sengoku opened his eyes.
At first, he didn't believe the World Government would do something like that, but then he thought of the innocent Sabaody Archipelago.
If the previous battle hadn't caused a tsunami that forced many to leave the islands, the death toll would have been even higher.
"I have no reason to lie to you," Ren said calmly. "After all, I have the advantage in the deep sea, not on the islands prepared by the World Government. I know nothing about Egghead Island, right? And I can handle the delay."
After a brief silence, Sengoku said, "The fifth Log Pose in my pocket."
Ren quickly obtained the Eternal Log Pose to Egghead Island.
Sengoku was certain this would happen; the Five Elders had already warned him when they contacted him earlier.
After Ren left, Sengoku looked at Garp, who was held nearby, and said, "What exactly are we doing all this for?"
Garp didn't reply, only bowed his head.
He didn't know how to answer.
Back during the God Valley battle, he had sensed it—the Celestial Dragons' way of entertainment—and he was forced to protect them, which had made him very uneasy.
That was why he had refused the promotion to Admiral.
Egghead Island was the territory of Vegapunk's research.
Without an Eternal Log Pose, reaching the island was practically impossible.
Ren's fleet rushed toward Egghead Island without pause, each crew ready for battle.
Kaido was particularly excited; he had long wanted a battle of the century.
This time, Pedro, Jinbe, and Robin were absent.
The three had secretly set off for Wano, taking the sea route to avoid being discovered.
A day later, Ren and the fleet arrived near Egghead Island, a place with a uniquely strange shape.
"That's Egghead Island?"
"It really is a strange place." The fishman warrior couldn't help but sigh.
"Big Brother Ren, there's a Sea King attack in the water."
"It should be mechanical fish. Location." Ren immediately slashed the iron clump near the water based on the mermaid's information.
"Flame Cloud." Kaido transformed directly into his Azure Dragon form, lifting the entire fleet.
The explosion just now was enormous. The mermaids closest to the water had already been killed. If Kaido hadn't used this skill, their ship would have been destroyed.
"Mermaids in the water, retreat immediately. Besides the explosion, it released poison. You don't need to participate in this mission." Ren frowned as he gave the order.
The mermaids didn't dare delay and swam toward the distance. Their speed couldn't match the poison, and in this sea area, creatures couldn't survive for long.
Their advantage was gone. Ren lost his underwater forces in the first move of the battle.
"Sure enough, this kind of attack is useless." A robot on the shore watched everything.
"I didn't expect we'd have to work together. It's been years since that happened." Warrior God of Science and Defense sighed.
"Donquixote Ren's strength can be acknowledged." The Warrior God of Finance snorted lightly, holding a knife.
"Hmph, that Garling already tucked his tail." The Warrior God of Agriculture looked down on Garling.
"The gap in their strength is too wide. It seems Donquixote Ren is still quite strong." The Warrior God of Environment snorted coldly.
"Except for leaving one useless person, the rest all died. Is this Donquixote's fate?" The Warrior God of Justice murmured.
"Fate? His fate is to die in the currents of the sea." Warrior God of Science and Defense said coldly.
"Let's go. Those mechanisms won't stop his steps." The Warrior God of Justice led the way.
"The CP and the Knights should meet his pirate crew. If we can eliminate them, all the better." The Warrior God of Finance followed slowly, knife in hand.
On the coastline, Ren signaled the crew to put on poison masks, then without hesitation slashed toward the shore, aiming to split the island in half.
Countless robots rushed in to stop the slash, even detonating poison capable of instant death.
In the end, Ren's strike destroyed a massive number of robots before stopping. The island was now completely covered in purple poison gas.
