Lucas smiled. "Yeah, but now with higher stakes. Annalyn's leading us strong."
Their words helped drown the spirit's nudges, but as the temple loomed, its aura hit like a wave, making my steps falter. "It's intensifying," I admitted. "Whispers promising control over everything."
Ezra glanced back. "Channel our bonds— dilute its hold."
Matteo added. "We're your anchor— lean on that."
