Mara stood close, their Visaya runes steady, while Russo smirked from his chained corner, and Kael and Rorik stayed quiet downstairs. The Moon Alpha's voice whispered about destiny, and with the council's forces closing in, we had to vote on this ritual fast to protect Annalyn's baby and end this fight.
"Okay, princess," I said, twirling my knife. "Final ritual—yes or no? I'm in for kicking Elias's ass."
Annalyn gripped the stone, her voice sharp. "Yes. It's our shot to end this—save my baby."
