Dorian sat at the edge of the bed, a small table in front of him where he had placed a wide sheet of parchment, meant to be the blueprint he was currently working on.
Toward the side, very close to him, Lili was assisting him in her human form, meticulously arranging the stack of papers so he wouldn't lose track of anything.
Still, despite Lili being obviously closer to him, nothing bothered him more than Revina.
She was still kneeling at his side, her gaze fully focused on him with an intensity that was both flattering and unnerving. She was so still, so unwavering, that Dorian was certain she hadn't blinked in a couple of minutes.
He wanted to ask so badly—or at least pick up a conversation to avoid the awkwardness already growing thick in the air—but every time he tried to say something, Raphael would give him yet another complex instruction pertaining to the blueprint he was putting together.
