"Huh? Why is the scrying pool so unclear?"
Mona frowned in confusion.
Normally, whenever she divined someone's fate, it was smooth sailing.
Even with the Traveler, she had never encountered major problems.
So why was she unable to see anything now?
It was as if some mysterious force was actively obstructing her divination.
This piqued Mona's interest.
She immediately increased the intensity of her astrology, attempting to pierce through that unseen barrier.
Meanwhile—
Inside the manga shop, Han Feng was leisurely sipping tea when his brow furrowed slightly.
"Someone's trying to divine me?"
Within the manga shop, Han Feng's power was absolute and unshakable.
Any attempt to pry into him was instantly detected.
What's more, Han Feng knew very well that the continent of Teyvat had astrologists as a profession.
"Who could it be, I wonder?"
He tapped his finger on the table, lost in thought.
According to what he remembered from the game's storyline, there were only three people capable of such astrology.
Klee's mother, Alice.
The mysterious young astrologist, Mona.
And Mona's master.
As for Alice—
According to Mona's own words, Alice was a true prodigy, a polymath versed in countless mystical arts.
Though a little unreliable at times, she was definitely keeping a secret watch over Klee.
The Midsummer Island Adventure arc in the game made that abundantly clear.
Han Feng briefly considered whether the noise stirred up by Klee's God Card had drawn Alice's attention.
But he quickly discarded the thought.
It had only just happened, and there hadn't been enough time for Alice to take notice.
As for Mona's master, though undoubtedly a formidable witch, Han Feng had never had any dealings with her.
So she too could be excluded.
"That leaves only one possibility—Mona."
Han Feng's lips curved into a knowing smile.
After all, she was the most famous astrologist in all of Genshin Impact.
And most importantly, in the storyline she was destined to seek the Traveler's aid in Mondstadt for her master's treasure chest.
"So it seems Mona might have arrived in Mondstadt earlier than expected, and perhaps even met Lumine already…"
His eyes gleamed mischievously.
If the one trying to pry into him was Mona, then perhaps she needed a little… correction.
After all, not just anyone was allowed to divine him at will.
With that thought, Han Feng stirred, and an inexplicable force surged toward the source of the divination.
Back outside—
Mona was still trying to ramp up her astrology, determined to crack this most intriguing puzzle.
But suddenly—
A strange, violent force erupted from the scrying pool!
The air around her swirled into a frenzy.
"Huh? Why did the wind pick up all of a sudden?"
Mona blinked in confusion, momentarily unable to react.
The gale intensified.
"Bad! My eyes won't open! My hat—!"
Her voice rose in panic.
And then came the real crisis—
"Ah! My clothes—my clothes are going to get blown away! Stop! I quit! I quit!!"
Mona finally panicked.
She understood now.
She must have tried to divine a being that could not be divined.
And this… this was his little punishment!
Lumine: (⊙⊙)
Paimon: (⊙⊙)
"What the heck is going on? Why did it suddenly turn into this mess?"
Paimon was bewildered.
Wasn't this supposed to be the great astrologist?
Why couldn't she even keep her own hat and clothes from being blown away?
"Maybe Boss Han is just too strong… and Mona's astrology failed?"
Lumine offered tentatively.
She didn't think it was a matter of Mona's skill.
After all, Mona had identified her origins in a single breath.
How could someone like that be a fraud?
No—this could only mean one thing:
Boss Han was simply too powerful!
"Mhm! I think so too!"
Paimon nodded furiously in agreement.
Perhaps Mona's desperate pleading worked, for the mysterious force soon dissipated.
The wind settled down as quickly as it had risen.
Panting, Mona retrieved her hat and plopped it back on her head.
"Phew… good thing only Lumine and Paimon saw that, otherwise it would've been utterly humiliating…"
"See? Now you believe us, right?"
Paimon puffed up proudly.
Hmph!
Disrespect Boss Han, and this is what happens!
"I don't know about the manga, but that Boss Han is definitely an unimaginably mysterious being…"
Mona gave a bitter smile.
Her astrology, usually her pride, hadn't even pierced his defenses.
Instead, she had been toyed with like a child.
Had he harbored any malice, Mona was certain she wouldn't even be standing there.
Thankfully, Han Feng knew she was merely curious.
Thus, he had been merciful—giving only a playful reprimand.
From this experience, Mona grew far more cautious.
Never again would she casually attempt to divine others.
As for the mysterious Boss Han…
Her heart now brimmed with respect and gratitude.
"Hehe, as long as you understand. Once we're done here, let's go visit the manga shop together."
Paimon invited smugly.
"Alright!"
Mona nodded.
Someone who could so easily repel her astrology surely understood it at a deeper level.
Perhaps she could even learn something from him.
And as for that so-called "manga" that gave out rewards—
if it was true, then it was beyond extraordinary.
The man who could open such a shop…
He must be a terrifying existence indeed.
Strangely enough, Mona felt no resentment toward his playful chastisement.
Instead, her heart was filled with gratitude.
She silently resolved to apologize to him sincerely when the time came.
"To think I'd find such a blessing in disguise on this trip… I really did come to the right place."
Mona smiled to herself.
The three girls then continued toward Springvale.
They couldn't forget Boss Han's errand, after all!
Elsewhere—
After teasing Diluc one more time on the road, Kaeya finally returned to the Knights of Favonius headquarters.
As he pushed open the door to the Acting Grand Master's office, he froze at the bizarre sight before him.
Eula stood off to the side.
Jean held a card in her hand—seemingly Klee's God Card.
And Klee herself was tugging at Jean's sleeve with teary puppy eyes.
"Master Jean, can Klee keep the God Card? Pretty please?"
Jean crouched down, gently patting the child's head.
"This card belongs to you, Klee. No one else will touch it. When you grow up, it will be yours to keep, alright?"
"But… but when will Klee finally grow up?"
Her eyes brimmed with tears.
Jean: (⊙﹏⊙)
Eula: (⊙﹏⊙)
Kaeya: (⊙﹏⊙)
