Chapter 99 - The Possessed Girl

Zavrion bent down and helped the old villager couple to their feet. His voice was calm yet firm.

"Uncle, Aunty… don't worry. My daddy and I will come with you. You're not alone in this."

The couple broke into tears of relief, thanking him over and over. Just as Zavrion and Vixen were about to leave with them, Vixen suddenly turned around. His eyes found Kin and Kenny.

"You two are coming with us as well," he said seriously. "I don't feel safe leaving you alone. The cult members could strike anytime, anywhere."

Kin and Kenny exchanged a glance and nodded without a word.

The four of them climbed into the villagers' old car, following the desperate couple through winding village lanes. But even before they reached the house, they heard it—piercing screams, a child's shrill cries echoing through the night.

Zavrion's heartbeat quickened. Without waiting, he bolted forward and kicked open the door.

Inside, the sight froze them all.

A girl, barely fifteen or sixteen, was tied to the bed with ropes cutting deep into her wrists and ankles. Her wide, hollow eyes glowed unnaturally. Beside her, a teenage boy—her uncle's son—was trembling so badly he could barely stand.

The moment Zavrion entered, the girl's lips twisted into a smirk, her voice suddenly dropping into a deep, masculine growl.

"Why did you come here? Leave… all of you. Don't you dare step closer."

Zavrion's sharp voice cut through the air.

"And what will you do if we don't? You can't do anything. Let go of the girl, or I'll end you right here."

The possessed girl laughed—a chilling, inhuman cackle that echoed off the walls.

"End me? Hah… why don't you untie me once and see what happens? I'll tear your flesh apart and feast on your bones."

Then, in an instant, her voice shifted—crying, desperate, weak.

"I'm hungry… so hungry. Please, give me something to eat…"

The boy, trembling, stepped closer, worried for his cousin. The moment his hand reached toward her, the girl seized his wrist and twisted it cruelly. The boy screamed in agony, collapsing as he clutched his swollen arm.

"Enough!" Vixen growled, stepping forward. His aura flared. "Uncle, Aunty—take your son and leave this house. Now. I'll handle this."

The possessed girl slammed the door shut with invisible force. Her body convulsed, and the demon inside laughed again.

"This one… this Alpha's body. I like it. I'm not leaving this flesh unless I get what I want."

Vixen's eyes narrowed. "What do you want?"

Her head snapped toward him, eyes blazing.

"Raw flesh. Give me raw meat… and maybe I'll leave."

Zavrion folded his arms. "If you get raw meat, you'll leave the girl's body. Do you swear?"

The spirit smirked through the girl's lips. "Yes… I swear."

The villager's wife hurried out and brought back a chicken from their yard. The girl tore into it like a beast, crunching through bones as blood dripped down her chin. Kin and Kenny both turned their faces away in disgust, covering their mouths.

Zavrion's voice was icy calm.

"You've had what you wanted. Now keep your word. Leave her body."

The spirit laughed, low and mocking.

"Humans are such fools… believing demons so easily. I told you I'd take her—and I will. Nothing you do can stop me."

Zavrion's aura darkened. His Enigma pheromones began to surge, filling the room with an overwhelming golden glow. The possessed girl shrieked, clutching her head as the light seared through her.

"I've held my patience long enough," Zavrion roared. "If you won't leave, then I'll rip you out myself!"

The golden pheromones exploded like a storm, filling every corner of the house. The villagers outside fainted under the sheer force, collapsing where they stood. Inside, Kin and Kenny covered their faces with their hands, shielding themselves from the blinding glow.

The demon screamed as the golden waves crushed its presence, the girl's body thrashing violently before she finally slumped back onto the bed. The golden aura shimmered, beautiful yet terrifying—deadly enough to destroy anything unholy in its path.

The house itself trembled under Zavrion's unleashed power.
