Kenny had been waiting for Megas for nearly two hours, pacing restlessly near the window.
Kin glanced at the clock and then at Kenny.
"Little Kenny, your boyfriend still hasn't shown up? When exactly is he coming? Did you even try calling him?"
"I have," Kenny sighed, worry creeping into his voice. "I've called so many times, but his phone keeps saying it's unreachable."
Kin frowned. "Hold on, let me get Vixen to check."
Before Kin could make the call, he looked back at Kenny. "By the way, send me a picture of your boyfriend so I know who to look for."
Kenny scrolled through his phone and showed Megas' photo to both Kin and Zavrion.
The moment Zavrion's eyes landed on it, he scoffed. "Seriously? You rejected me for this guy?"
Kin lightly smacked the back of Zavrion's head. "And why are you calling Kenny by his name, huh? Do you even realize how much older he is than you? Show some respect—call him big brother."
"I'm not calling him that," Zavrion muttered, his jaw tight, and stalked off to his room, slamming the door behind him.
Kin shook his head and dialed Vixen. "Hey, how far are you?"
"Two minutes away," Vixen's deep voice came through.
Before Kin could say more, Kenny reached over and grabbed the phone. "Brother Vixen, can you help me with something? My boyfriend Megas entered Zemura Village a while ago, but he still hasn't reached me."
Vixen paused. "Then call him."
"I have called!" Kenny's voice rose in frustration. "Over and over. His phone's been unreachable the whole time. What should I do?"
"Send me a picture of him," Vixen replied calmly. "I'll go look for him. Don't worry."
"Alright, I'll send it to your phone now," Kenny said, tapping quickly.
"Good," Vixen said. "Just rest. I'll bring him back. Maybe he's just lost—this village's roads can be tricky."
"Fine," Kenny sighed and hung up.
With a troubled expression still clouding his face, he walked into Zavrion's room and flopped onto the bed beside him. Zavrion was absorbed in a mobile game, barely glancing up.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" Kenny asked. "Go study or something."
Zavrion smirked without looking away from the screen. "What's it to you?" Then, almost casually, he added, "By the way, I don't like your boyfriend."
Kenny gave a small, sly smile. "That's exactly why I'm going to marry him."
Zavrion froze, then turned to glare at him. "Go ahead. Marry him right now. Meanwhile, there's a perfectly good-looking guy sitting right here, and you go for some city boy?"
Kenny arched a brow. "Megas is older than you. And much more mature."
That hit a nerve. Zavrion's expression darkened immediately, his eyes narrowing with irritation. Kenny only laughed, the sound soft but full of mischief.
