Foreword On Stars and Darkness
In the endless darkness of the cosmos...
...millions of stars ignite, and are extinguished...
Each one... a will... a memory... a reason for being.
But in this universe... there is one "law" that cannot be escaped...
"The Void"... the darkness that forever consumes the light.
It does not destroy... it merely "erodes"... slowly causing the once-brilliant stars... to dim their light... until they become but cold, stone husks, drifting without purpose.
And yet... even in the most frigid of voids...
...there exists an unseen "gravity"... that holds the stars together, preventing them from scattering...
...and sometimes... amidst the endless night...
...the brightest light of all appears.
Not the light of a single, solitary star...
...but the light of a "constellation"... shining side by side.
Perhaps... finding the light in one's own "universe"...
...begins with the acceptance... of that eternal darkness.
