Whoosh!
Just as the Five Kage were reeling from the sudden appearance of Obito, a figure shot through the air. His gaze was sharp like a hawk's, and the katana at his waist flashed out with the speed of lightning.
A blinding arc of light cut through the air!
Whoosh!
The half-moon-shaped sword slash pierced through Obito's body and split the wall behind him in two.
"As expected of Mifune. Excellent swordsmanship... but," Obito said with a trace of admiration, raising his hand toward Mifune's shoulder.
Crack!
A bolt of lightning streaked through the air as the Raikage, cloaked in his Lightning Armor, charged in with a heavy punch.
Obito sneered inwardly. Trying to strike the moment I materialize? I knew you'd go for it, you brute...
Boom!
Raikage's fist struck, but it passed through Obito's form. The sheer force sent the entire wall crumbling down.
"I'd be careful if I were you, Raikage. You might lose that other arm."
Obito's left eye locked onto Raikage's right arm as he began to focus his power.
Whoosh!
A flash of golden light—Namikaze Minato had appeared. A Rasengan already formed in his palm as he aimed directly at Obito's mask.
"Mm."
Obito reacted in a split second. His hand reached out and clamped down on Minato's wrist with precision. At the same time, his right eye spun, releasing the vortex of Kamui.
Minato began to get sucked into the spiraling distortion of space and time—
Whoosh!
In another flash of gold, Minato reappeared at his original position. Obito turned, gazing at him and offering a quiet nod of respect.
"As expected of the Yellow Flash. So fast… If I ever let you mark me with that Flying Thunder God seal, I'd never sleep easy again. I'd never know when you'd pop out of nowhere and hit me with a Rasengan."
Obito's brief skirmish with Mifune, Raikage, and Minato had taken place in the blink of an eye.
The other Kage quickly processed the situation.
Ohnoki thought grimly: That's his time-space dōjutsu? Among all Uchiha techniques, this is top-tier. No wonder he was able to turn the shinobi world on its head...
Rasa narrowed his eyes: More dangerous than his eye technique is his foresight—he predicts our actions like he can see through us...
Obito looked around and said calmly, "I didn't come here to fight."
"Who cares what you came for? You're dying here today!" barked the Third Mizukage, Yagura, as he formed a one-handed seal.
Water Style: Waterspout!
A towering column of water shot up like a tornado, engulfing Obito in its torrent. The force tore apart the walls, swept through the corridor, and sent wind and snow howling into the shattered meeting room.
"His intangibility only lasts five minutes. If we maintain dense, high-frequency attacks, he won't be able to phase through them. But we also need to be careful—his Susanoo is a pain to deal with!" shouted Yagura.
His young face twisted in fierce focus as he kept the waterspout going.
"Hmph. Then let's paralyze him so he can't even mold chakra!" the Raikage growled. His palm crackled with lightning as he thrust it into the swirling waterspout, turning it into a spiraling thunderstorm.
If Obito exited intangibility now, he'd be paralyzed in an instant. No chakra control meant no Susanoo—perfect.
"Hokage! What are you waiting for?! Are you protecting your rogue ninja?!" Raikage roared at Minato.
"Of course not," Minato replied. "According to intel, he can move through mediums even in that state. The attack's density is fine, but the area is too narrow. We need a broader field. I'll relocate us."
Swish!
Minato formed hand seals, then gripped two Flying Thunder God kunai.
Flying Thunder God: Space-Time Barrier!
Whoosh!
The scene changed in an instant. Everyone—along with their ongoing jutsu—was relocated to a vast, snow-covered field.
Minato warned, "He won't surface in plain sight. There's a strong chance he'll move underground. Lord Kazekage, please prepare for that possibility."
Though Rasa was reluctant, he had made a prior agreement with Minato and couldn't back out now.
"Understood. Leave it to me."
Rasa crouched down, driving his hand into the earth. His eyes darkened with fatigue—a clear sign he was using the Magnetic Release and his bloodline ability, Gold Dust.
Magnetic Release: Golden Burial!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The gold dust, buried deep underground, surged like waves beneath their feet.
Minato scattered his Flying Thunder God kunai across the battlefield in a wide formation. "Guards of the Five Kage," he instructed, "prepare your techniques. If he tries to escape, cover the area with attacks. Don't let him find a single opening to phase out!"
"Got it!" the elite jōnin responded. They began forming hand signs, entering a ready state.
"We just have to hold him for five minutes."
BOOM!
A tremor came from within the storming vortex of water and lightning.
Yagura shouted, "I feel his chakra—he's reappeared inside the water! His intangibility is gone!"
Minato acted immediately. "Kazekage-dono! Immobilize him now!"
"On it!" Rasa formed a rapid series of seals.
Magnetic Release: Golden Seal!
Boom!!
Gold dust surged from every direction, slamming into the vortex and forming a triangle that enclosed the entire storm. Black sealing marks appeared on its surface as Rasa pressed his palm to the formation.
"Tsuchikage-sama! Now—finish him off!" Minato called out.
Ohnoki floated into the air with a sigh. "To think the instigator of the Shinobi World Rebellion forced us to restart the Five Kage Summit... and now we're doing this. Hmph. You should've stayed hidden instead of showing up to die."
He clasped his hands together, and a glowing white cube began to form—transparent, with a spherical core suspended within.
"Farewell, troublemaker."
Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!
FWOOOOOM!
The cube expanded and engulfed the golden triangle, then collapsed inward—disintegrating everything inside.
Mifune sheathed his katana. "The Five Kage indeed... the enemy didn't even have a chance to retaliate."
"Hmph! Finally, some peace!" Raikage grunted.
"Enjoy your time in the afterlife. You should've stayed buried with the blood mist." Mizukage Yagura's tone was ice cold.
Behind him, Hōzuki Mangetsu and Hoshigaki Kisame exchanged uneasy glances. Was that guy really... dead?
Minato turned back toward the group. "Now that Uchiha Obito—the key figure of this conflict—has been dealt with, the Fourth Five Kage Summit is concluded."
"Hmph! You got lucky this time, Minato," Raikage huffed.
"It's always so quiet afterward. I wonder when the next summit will be..." Ohnoki mused.
The Kage began to disperse.
"Where do you think you're going?"
A voice echoed across the snowy plain.
"W-What?!"
Everyone froze.
Whoosh!
A Kamui vortex spiraled open, and from it, the man reappeared—Obito, completely unharmed.
Bang!!
The moment he landed, his hands formed a seal in front of his chest—the Ram seal.
Minato's pupils contracted. That hand sign...!
Beneath the mask, Obito's eyes radiated an overwhelming pressure.
