Chapter 31 - The Clown and The Bunny Girl

"Tap," Dean and Claire stopped in front of a door that now looked like a bloody jail cell. Dean pushed it open with his giant scythe. "Creeeeak," the door opened on its own, and they stepped inside. "Blaaar," they shielded their eyes as spotlights suddenly flashed on. "Heh...heh...heh," they heard laughter in front of them.

Both of them got ready. Standing there was a clown with a bloody, smiling face, wild hair, a tall, skinny body with long arms holding knives, and the creepiest thing—a bunch of "beating hearts" stuck all over him.

"Hmm, a clown," Dean said, getting ready.

"Yup, just a clown," Claire replied, also getting ready.

"Screeeet," the clown's long, rubbery arms shot out like whips with knives at the ends. "Blarr," they both jumped back as the knives slammed into the stage floor. "Waaaa... get 'em... get 'em!" a crowd of ugly zombies in the audience yelled. Dean and Claire looked around, realizing they were on a stage.

"Well, guess we're famous now," Claire muttered.

"Don't joke around! Watch out... he's coming!" Dean yelled.

"Plop," a unicycle appeared under the clown's feet. "Heh...heh...heh," he laughed and pedaled toward them, swinging his whip-like arms. Dean spun his scythe, blocking the clown's attack. "Tap...tap...tap," Claire ran up the wall, then leaped, her sword aimed at the clown's back.

But the clown's head spun 180 degrees, smiling wide at Claire. He then spun his body like a top. "Traaaaang," Claire blocked it but was sent flying backward. "Hoorayyy... get 'em!" the audience cheered. "Claire!" Dean yelled, charging forward and swinging his scythe. But the clown hopped backward on his unicycle, easily dodging the attack.

"Ugh... hup," Claire did a flip and landed on her feet. Suddenly, the clown's spinning face was right in front of her. "Heh...heh...heh," "trang," he attacked with his sharp, knife-like tongue, but Claire quickly blocked it. "Tap," she kicked off the wall, flipped over the clown's head, and landed next to Dean.

"You okay?" Dean asked.

"I'm fine... sorry, I underestimated him," Claire replied, wiping her mouth with her sleeve.

"Let's go, together," Dean said.

"Okay," Claire agreed.

"Tap," they both charged forward, spinning their weapons. "Trang...trak...clang...clang," they clashed with the clown's whipping arms. "Trang," they both jumped back after blocking another attack.

"Ugh, his defense is too strong," Claire said.

"I know... it's hard to beat him up close. Try that move, Claire," Dean said.

"Got it," she replied.

They put the tips of their weapons together and fired a red laser beam at the clown. But he nimbly dodged it, swaying his body like he was dancing and taunting them. "Heh...heh...heh," he laughed, his head spinning in a mocking way.

"Phew... this is tough," Claire said.

"Yeah, we don't have any long-range attacks," Dean replied.

Suddenly, "pshooo...blaaar," a green laser beam hit the clown's head from behind them. They both turned to see who had fired. "Click," a girl in a sexy bunny outfit, with fiery green hair and a mask, stood at the entrance. She had red eyes and was holding a giant syringe like a shotgun.

"Huh?" Dean and Claire mumbled, confused.

"Click... pshooo... blaaar," the girl kept reloading and shooting her syringe at the clown, walking closer to them. "Heh...heh...heh," the clown laughed, stuttering. His body was full of holes, and the hearts all over his body, burst like pimples, gushing blood. He twitched and went still. The bunny girl looked at Dean and Claire.

"Hey, what are you waiting for? Kill him!" she yelled.

"Oh... okay... Hiiiiyyaaaaah!" Dean and Claire charged at the clown, their weapons ready. "Shhhhriiiing," they passed right through him. "Plop," the clown's head fell to the floor, and "blugh," his body collapsed. Dean and Claire caught their breath, then turned to look at the bunny girl who was striking a pose.

"Who are you?" Dean asked.

The girl took off her mask, revealing Bianca's face. Dean and Claire were completely shocked.

"Wait... Bianca?" they both yelled at the same time.

"Um... yeah, it's me," Bianca said.

Suddenly, Claire covered Dean's eyes. Of course, Dean pulled her hands away and turned to look Claire in the eye.

"What's that for?" Dean asked, holding Claire's hands.

"She's too hot. Don't look," Claire said.

"Um... sorry about that, hehe," Bianca said, hugging herself.

The clown's body floated up and split apart. A bright purple light emerged and turned into Brandon's soul, who looked totally confused.

"Oh... where am I? What happened?" he yelled. "Hey... explain what this place is!"

"Welcome to... ugh," Claire suddenly covered Dean's mouth. She pulled him aside and whispered in his ear.

"Wait Dean, can we take him to the real world first? We can bring Bianca with us, tell him we're giving her to him, get the money, and then bring him back here to finish the job," Claire whispered.

"Hmm? Where did you come up with that?" Dean whispered back.

"Well, he's the one who hired us, not Bianca. Remember? We should get paid first. We went through all that trouble running from that clown train to find him," Claire argued.

"Oh... you're right. That's a great idea. We can use the money for our everyday life and not have to sell his organs," Dean said.

"See? I told you it was a good idea. Let's do it," Claire said.

"Okay, Now you talk to Bianca while I distract this jerk," Dean replied.

Dean immediately turned around to talk to Brandon, while Claire sneaked behind him to a fuming Bianca, who was ready to shoot Brandon right there.

"Hey, Bianca, hold on, don't shoot him yet. We have to go back to the real world first so we can get paid by Brandon. After that, we'll bring him back here and get him. You need the money for your nursing school tuition, right?" Claire said.

"Yeah, that's right. So what's the plan?" Bianca asked, her eyes still locked on Brandon.

"Okay, so here's what we're going to do."

Claire leaned in close to Bianca's ear, but she realized Bianca's "human" ears weren't there. The bunny ears on her head, which she thought were just decoration, were her real ears. So Claire had Bianca lean down, and she whispered the plan into one of her bunny ears. When Claire finished, Bianca looked at her with a questioning expression but with hope in her eyes.

"You'll really split the money three ways?" Bianca asked.

"Of course," Claire said with a wink.

"But what if he tries to do something to me?" Bianca asked, worried.

"Don't worry, Dean and I are with you. You'll be fine," Claire said, giving her a thumbs-up.

"Okay, I'm in," Bianca replied.

Claire gave Dean a thumbs-up. Dean nodded and opened a portal back to the real world with his scythe. When they got there, Brandon was back in his body. He saw Dean and Claire standing in front of him, each holding one of Bianca's hands. She was wearing her nurse's uniform.

"What are you doing? I told you to kill her! She's useless to me now," Brandon snapped.

"Sorry, but you have to pay us first. We'll do it right in front of you," Dean said.

"Fine. How much?" Brandon asked, pulling out his checkbook.

"One hundred twenty thousand dollars. Go ahead, write the check," Dean replied.

Without another word, Brandon wrote a check for $120,000, tore it out, and handed it to Dean. After taking the check, Dean said, "Alright, now we'll take care of her."

"Yeah, do it here, now!" Brandon yelled impatiently.

"Okay," Dean replied with a smile.

"Tap." Suddenly, Claire and Dean grabbed Brandon's hands. The others grabbed Bianca's hand. Everything went dark. "Blarr," spotlights flashed on. Brandon's soul, blinded by the light, looked around. "Huh... what is this ?" he realized he was tied to a chair and he's sat in the torture room. He looked up and saw Dean, Claire, and the bunny girl version of Bianca standing in front of him.

"Welcome to the nightmare world," the three of them said with big smiles.
