In Washington, D.C., the Pentagon, Martin and the rest of the Presidents staff are having a meeting about Enhuman movement in London.
Lowe: NASA sent these images from their satellites that were overhead of London. They were detecting Enhuman movement.
Webster: We're looking at possible movement from the Supers and Purifiers....
Martin: Do we know for sure what they were doing?
Vickers: We don't, but it's a possibility that that's where the Purifiers have been hiding for the past three years.
Martin: Damn it.....
Vickers: It makes sense; London has been one of the few cities that we lost in the flooding three years ago.
Lowe: Ma'am, we might need to take defensive action if the Purifiers have resurfaced.
Martin: For now, let's put out a state of emergency. The Purifiers are a threat to the nation.
Martin turns to Lowe.
Martin: Lowe, get me a chopper.
David: Why?
Martin: I'm going to Exodus labs....to sign for the approval of distribution for the cure.
David sighs and shakes his head.
Lowe: Ma'am, I strongly advise you choose wisely in this situation. If the Purifiers have returned, then the Supers will be the only Enhuman defense we have against them.
Vickers: As are the Supers, ma'am.
Martin sighs.
David: Mom....the Supers are the only Enhuman defense we have against those criminals.
Martin shakes her head.
Martin: I know.....but this cure might be the only way we get to live peacefully.....I'm sorry, son....and I hope the Enhuman community will find it in their hearts to forgive me.
In the Eagle, en-route to Ireland, with Power Surge by her side, Neon Crane holds her dead sister's hand as Neon-Ghost approaches her.
Neon-Ghost: I'm sorry, kid. Your sister....I know she didn't trust me, but.....she really did care about you...
Neon Crane nods, before Dragonfly, with his helmet off, looks back, before approaching Quantum and Sun Sorceress, passing by Caspian and the Owl in the process.
Dragonfly: Dad.....Eva....
Quantum: What, son?
Dragonfly: I know what both of you are thinking...and I have to say it. Mom's gone.
Sun Sorceress: James...
Dragonfly: Mom is gone and she's not coming back.
Quantum: You don't know that, okay? She's still your mother.
Sun Sorceress: Mom, James is right. It's not mom anymore. She killed Maria.
Quantum folds his lips.
Quantum: Krylla killed Maria. Not your mom. She's still in there still trapped.
Dragonfly: Dad....
Quantum: Go sit down, James.
Dragonfly: No, you need to listen to me.
Quantum: James!
Dragonfly: Why can't you just accept it, huh? Let her go.
Quantum: Let her go?! Let the woman who gave birth you, both of you, go?!
Sun Sorceress: Dad, that's what mom would want us to do...
Dragonfly looks down.
Dragonfly: How many more humans or Enhumans have to die in order for you let her go?
Dragonfly walks to the back of the Eagle, before Quantum shakes his head. In Ireland, the ruins, Thermo sits in a chair, before Phantom joins him.
Phantom: You're up early.
Phantom sits down next to Thermo.
Phantom: It's really cold here.
Thermo: I could build a fire to warm us up.....
Phantom lightly laughs.
Phantom: Any update from John?
Thermo: Not since two hours ago. No.
Suddenly, up ahead, a beam appears as Thermo and Phantom stand up, with Phantom's mask sealing over her face as does Thermo's. Genesis appears and shoots and energetic beam at the ruins, only for it to hit the force field.
Thermo: You're going to have to think of something else.
Genesis laughs.
Genesis: Cocky boy.
Genesis then turns to Scarlett and Krylla, who combine their powers to disable to force field.
Phantom: You had to say something....
The rest of the Purifiers and Monster Threll Vanguards join Genesis, Krylla and Scarlett. Neptune crawls through the entrance and joins Thermo and Phantom.
Thermo: Holy shit.....
Phantom: (in French) My god! (in English) Those are the aliens we fought in Greece.
Thermo: Yeah, cept they got a big ass upgrade.
Phantom: We are outnumbered, Alex. We need back up.
Thermo: Oh, you think?
Suddenly, Quantum, Dragonfly, Sun Sorceress, The Owl, Caspian, Neon Crane and Power Surge join Thermo, Phantom and Neptune.
Dragonfly: Do you any of you have the faintest goddamn idea of what you're getting yourselves into? You're all following this woman, but don't what the hell will happen if he reaches those crystals and open that portal!
Genesis: Is this all you have, John? Is this your team?
Thermo: Wait....where's Maria?
Neon Crane looks down.
Power Surge: We lost her.
Phantom: What?
Caspian: Enough of this madness, this is getting really ridiculous.
Genesis: This won't be your only loss, King of Atlantis. You should've kept your blue ass in the sea with your people. We came to fight, we came for blood and we will reach that portal....you will not stop us.
Quantum: Adrian, if you trust this woman, you don't know what will happen. Don't do this.
Genesis: The only way you're going to stop us is if you kill us, which we know you will not do.
Krylla: You don't want us to succeed, but trust us, when I say, we will.
The Purifiers and the Monster Threll begin walking towards the Supers.
Dragonfly: So, be it....
The Supers, Caspian and Neptune begin walking towards the Purifiers, Krylla and the Threll Monster Vanguards. The two factions then start jogging, before starting to fully sprint or fly towards each other, engaging in a brutal fight in snowy environment. Phantom kicks Ravage, while Neon Ghost tackles and punches Bloodlust. Dragonfly uses his blaster, before Genesis backhands Thermo. Gridiron tosses Quantum to the side, before tackling Gridiron to the ground. Sun Sorceress attacks Krylla, while Quantum repeatedly punches the Monster Bruko, but then Monster Prague kicks him away. Neptune then punches Monster Prague, but Prague grabs his two punches. Dragonfly and Power Surge battle Red Dragon and Arachnica, before Caspian throws his trident at Genesis, who swipes it away. Neptune then headbutts Prague. Scarlett dodges Neon Ghost's attacks, who blasts Scarlett back, but is then knocked down by Genesis. Neon Crane light punches Krylla, who looks up at Neon Crane, before she light speeds. Krylla uses her tentacle legs to cross line Neon Crane. Krylla then reunites with Genesis and Scarlett.
Krylla: This is it.....
Krylla turns to Genesis.
Krylla: Scarlett, clear the area for us as much as you can.
Krylla turns to Genesis.
Krylla: Tombs, meet me at the location.
Krylla, Genesis and Scarlett dash for the ruins. Quantum and Dragonfly reunite.
Dragonfly: No, no, no, no. They're going for the crystals!
Neptune: Stop watching and do something!
Krylla sprints to the ruins as Neptune attempts to attack, but is tackled by Monster Prague. Thermo attempts to attack Krylla, but is punched by Monster Braka. Phantom uses an invisible forced field to block Krylla, but is kicked away by Nawk. Sun Sorceress attempts to attack, but is tackled by Scarlett. Krylla uses her tentacle legs to boost herself up into the air, before she reaches the ruins, finding the glowing crystals in a case. Before she can approach the crystals, Quantum lands in front of Krylla.
Quantum: Sara, please. Do not make me do this.
Krylla: I told you; Sara cannot hear you.
Dragonfly jumps down next to Quantum, before Genesis appears with Krylla. After a brief tense moment, Quantum shoots his laser beams at Krylla, who shoots green energy at Quantum. The two beams creating an interaction. Dragonfly and Genesis then charge at each other and fight. Quantum and Krylla disengage their beam fight, before Krylla sprints at Quantum, who then punches Krylla back. Krylla rolls over on her back, just to notice Quantum stomping down. Krylla rolls over and uses her tentacle legs to knock Quantum into the wall. Genesis avoids Dragonfly's shots. Krylla approaches the Parker case containing the crystals and uses her spider-legs to break open the container. Krylla then grabs the crystals with her tentacle legs, before grabbing the third one she already has. Dragonfly incapacitates Genesis in a kick to the stomach, before a punch to the face. Krylla prepares to combine the Aquila crystals, but Dragonfly shoots a beam at her back. Krylla turns to Dragonfly.
Dragonfly: Krylla.....Mom, if you're still in there, please....don't do this.
For a brief while, Krylla's eyes turn into Sara's, regaining her brief control.
Sara: James....please....please, help me....my son....
Quantum begins to recover, and then flight charges at Krylla, causing her to retake control of Sara. Before Quantum can attack, Krylla combines all three Aquila crystals.
Dragonfly: No!
A blue flash occurs, knocking both Quantum, Dragonfly, Genesis and Krylla back. After a while, Quantum and Dragonfly recover to hear what sounds like thunder. Quantum looks up to notice a giant portal in the sky.
Quantum: No...
Dragonfly: He did it.
Quantum turns to Krylla and then confronts her.
Quantum: What have you done?! What have you done?!
An earthquake occurs, shaking the ground and knocking everyone down.
Dragonfly: V.O.X?
V.O.X: I...I don't know how to explain it.
Dragonfly speaks into his earpiece.
Dragonfly: Charles? Josh? Trisha? Alex? Does anyone copy? What's happening out there?
Dragonfly flies on top of a ruined pillar and his helmet unseals his face as he gives a horrified look.
Dragonfly: Oh god...
Below the portal on the ground, an entire army of Thrells, soldiers, drones and brutes appear as well as Threll warships and a Drell mothership. Quantum joins Dragonfly and is horrified by this. The Owl, Sun Sorceress, Power Surge, Neon Crane, Thermo, Phantom, Caspian and Neptune stand up while Scarlett, Red Dragon, Mammoth, Gridiron, Snake-Bite, Ravage and Switch also give confused looks.
Gridiron: My god....
In the ruins, Genesis begins to laugh.
Genesis: Now, my Enhuman people will finally be able to conquer this planet.
Krylla laughs, shaking her head.
Krylla: Oh, Adrian. Oh, Adrian, Adrian, Adrian.....how easy it was to pull you in?
Genesis turns to Krylla.
Genesis: What?
Krylla: Did you really think that I would care about Enhumans future? That I gave a damn about you and your little Purifiers?
Genesis' eyebrows furrow.
Genesis: You lied....
Krylla: I need you to retrieve my Aquila crystals and I knew if I offered a way to make it seemed like a cared, that you wouldn't be wise to deny the bait.
Genesis' eyes begin to power up and attempts to attack, but is telepathically grabbed and thrown into the wall multiple times. Outside the ruins, the Threll soldiers and warships attack the Supers and Purifiers, blasting them away with their advanced energy beams, causing much destruction.
In the ruins, Krylla continues to telepathically attack Genesis, but then Quantum and Dragonfly intervene, knocking Krylla. Quantum and Dragonfly then help Genesis on his feet.
Dragonfly: Happy now?
Quantum: All because you wanted peace for Enhumanity, Adrian!
Genesis: How was I supposed to know that she was lying?!
Quantum: Damn it, Adrian!
Suddenly, the ruins are blasted down, knocking away. The Supers and Purifiers attempt to fight off the Threll army, but are overpowered and blasted with Switch being blasted apart by the Threll warship and Ravage being killed in an explosion.
The Owl: Retreat! Retreat!
The Supers and Purifiers are forced to fall back as the Threll army proves to be too much for both teams.
Sun Sorceress: Dad! We need help! We're getting killed here!
Krylla recovers then flies to the Threll mothership, taking control of the ship.
Krylla: Time to end this!
Krylla uses a weapon to cause the entire structure that surrounds the ruins, Supers and Purifiers to cave into a giant sinkhole, destroying the Eagle in the process. The dusts settles as the Threll army surrounds the giant sinkhole as Krylla smiles. Krylla telepathically speaks to Prague, Braka, Bruko, Nawk and Blaka and the Threll army.
Krylla: My fellow Threll children. We have destroyed this planets Enhuman protectors....and now, we will begin the assault to rule this planet. Earth is now ours.
The Threll mothership then ascends into space. In the cave in, the Supers and Purifiers recover.
Quantum: Is everyone alive?
Thermo: Yeah....just about.
Thermo then rushes over to Phantom.
Thermo: Jessica! Jess, you okay?
Phantom: I am fine, Alexander.
Power Surge pulls Neon Crane out of the rubble, while Genesis recovers. The Supers then confront Genesis.
The Owl: Is this what you wanted, Adrian? Is this the future for Enhumans Krylla was talking about?!
Scarlett: Hey, bird boy!
Scarlett, Red Dragon, Snake-Bite, Mongor and Gridiron come to Genesis's defense, confronting the heroes.
Snake-Bite: Back off!
Mongor: How the hell was he supposed to know?!
Power Surge: He should've known!
Thermo: You all should've known! Now, look at where we are! The aliens are in our orbit and are preparing to attack now!
Quantum: Enough! Everyone! We need to make up a plan! We need to regroup.
Quantum turns to Genesis.
Quantum: We need each other....Now, more than ever....
Genesis sighs.
Genesis: The Supers are right. This is my fault, everyone. I believed Krylla when you all warned me and now, the planet might be at risk.
Neon Crane: Hey, guys....I don't mean to cut the guilt session short, but we should like get the hell out of here.
Power Surge: She's right....The Thrells don't know we survived.....so we better take this advantage to get out of here while we can.
Caspian: How? The Eagle was destroyed in the cave in.
The Owl: Don't worry. I built a spare.
The Owl: V.O.X., bring in the Raven.
After a few moments, the new Supers jet, the Raven, descends into the sink hole.
Thermo: Oh, ho, ho....Charles, you've really outdone yourself.
The Owl: Trust me; there's more, son.
The Raven ramp opens and a few minutes later, a cybernetic woman like figure steps out of the hatching bay.
Dragonfly: What the hell?
Power Surge: What is that?
V.O.X.: Come now, Master Adams. Don't tell me you don't recognize my voice.
The Supers eyes' widen.
Neon Crane: Is that....?
Sun Sorceress: V.O.X.?
V.O.X.: In the flesh....or in this case, metallic form.
Quantum: My god...that is incredible.
V.O.X.: I'm glad you all love the body, but I recommend we make haste and soon....the Thrells may return to ensure our destruction.
Caspian: John. Neptune and I must return to Atlantis. With these aliens here, things will get worse and my people will panic.
Quantum nods.
Quantum: It's okay. I understand.
Caspian shakes Quantum's hand.
Caspian: When the time comes to kick these aliens off the planet, the Sea Dwellers and I will be there.
Caspian turns to Neptune.
Caspian: Come, Neptune.
Quantum: Yes, my king.
Caspian and Neptune leave before the Supers enter the Raven before Genesis looks at Quantum.
Genesis: You just gonna leave us here?
Quantum sighs, before looking at the Supers, who give unsure looks.
Phantom: I don't think we can.
Sun Sorceress: These things are here, because of Genesis and the Purifiers.....
Quantum: We can't leave them to die here.....
The Supers look at each other.
The Owl: You know this is a bad idea.....
Quantum: I know....but what isn't a bad idea now these days.
