~Zara POV~
I dove to the side avoiding a sloppy but powerful overhand blow, the general was wounded and tried, matching my own state. We had been battling now for quite a while, the surrounding soldiers on both sides having given us the space we needed to conduct our impromptu duel.
It hadn't exactly been my goal to fight him one on one but after 20 days on constant battles when I managed to force an error on the opposing side I knew I had to take it. I gathered some of my strongest soland we charged down out of our base straight into the heart of the enemy camp to deal a decisive blow to kill their general. Saddly before we could reach him we were waylaid by some men, this led to a battle which thankfully the general joined and that then led to me and him facing off.
