We trudged through the Forrest for the rest of the day, only stopping briefly to have some lunch but quickly continuing on our journey. Both of us eager to be out of the woods and back into civilisation.
As the day passed by my body did continue to slowly go back to normal, however it seemed that it wouldn't go all the way back by itself as I had been stuck an inch shorter than I was for the last couple hours, similarly both my butt and boobs were just a touch larger than before.
Kana was quite delighted at this turn of events and we guessed that whilst most to the changes will revert at least some of the changes will stick. But it was still too early to tell just yet, and Kana insisted that we should be sure to test it multiple times to ensure we understood it. I could only roll my eyes at her obvious desire to change my body but I couldn't quite deny the excitement I felt imagining all the ways I could be altered.
As the afternoon rolled into early evening I could see in the near distance that the wall of trees came to end and to show an expanse of rolling hills and grasslands, excited to finally see a different environment that endless trees I eagerly rushed ahead of Kana to her mild annoyance.
Once I passed the last tree I stopped and took in the view. A vast expanse of grassy hills expanded as far as the eye could see, we were in a natural shallow valley so this wasn't all too far but after days of being stuck in the Forrest of giant trees it was a welcome sight netherless. The grass was slightly odd however compaired to my earth sensibilities. Instead of being composed of differnt shades of green their was a plethora of colours, the primary one was still green but their were blues, purples and even a splattering of pinks mixed in.
It was a truly magical sight that drove home the fact that this is a entirely new world. My musings were cut short however with an unexpected notification.

Upon reading this I was innitially supprised and then excited upon realising I was getting a reward and that it was to be improved twice! And then the last line popped up and that feeling of excitement turned into one of concern. Given that my boons have a very specific 'theme' going on and that instead of increasing my rewards it will be altering it I was unsure how this was going to turn out.

I blink at the rapid influx of information and before I can even process what has happened properly a new notification pops up.

And with that last message I again hardly have time to read before darkness creeps in once again as I see a dim coppery glow emanating from my body. As I dimly register this glow the darkness fully consumes my vision and I pass out one more time.
Slowly comming too once again I mutter to myself. "I feel like I have passed out way too much recently." Hearing a soft laugh at this I turn my head to look at Kana who is sat down a bit of a distance away from me.
"Well your not wrong you have had a couple of rough days. But congratulations for advancing to Copper!" She says with a happy yet concerned tone.
Grunting at that I ask. "So is it just me or does something stink around here?"
"No something definitely does." She swiftly replies. "And that something would be you. Seeing my confused glance she explains. "When you rank up you body expels a number of impurities from your body, this helps refine it into a slightly more 'perfect' state." Once she says that I look down at my once again makes form and see it covered in a thin film of black gunk.
Gagging slightly I ask with a pleading tone. "Please say there is a stream or somewhere to clean myself around here." To which Kana only laughs and nod's
"Your lucky. There is a stream just over that hill, I would have dragged you there but.. well I don't want to get covered in your gunk." She explains, and not going to lie I really cannt blame her given how much I smell right now.
Deciding their is no time like the present I go to stand up only to completely overshoot my lift and send myself sprawling again, hearing Kana's musical laughter I glare at her before getting up much more carefully now. Once up I can feel a strength within my body that I have never experienced before. I feel like I could run a marathon or wrestle with a grizzly bear!
Delighted at my new strength I decide to run in the direction Kana pointed to test how fast I can now move. And it is fast!
I zip up to the top of the hill and take in the view of the multicoloured grasslands once again before focusing on a stream and dashing down to it to clean myself.
Once I crouch down in the water I begin to clean myself. Scrubbing for all I'm worth. Once the worst of the gunk has been removed I decide to tackle the notifications that I can feel hovering at the edge of my vision. Sighing I let them come.

Looking over my new status screen and contemplating my 2 new innate skills I'm really uninsured how I'm supposed to take it. On one hand awesome I'm already half way through Copper rank, and iv even got a unique class. Body of Nature sounds amazing and will enable to me to cast more spells for longer.
However, the whole Lust part has me mildly concerned, apparently I now require sexual relief regularly or my body will just turn into a walking sex toy. I suppose it's not an awful ability given that I can quite literally get stronger through sex but, I'm just not quite sure how I feel about it just yet.
As I sit in the stream contemplating all of this, I finally manage to get all of the gunk off me and sigh in contentment.
"So how did your refinement go? Get any decent skills? And ohh what's your class!?" Kana finally asks once she realises I am mostly done thinking things over. As I wonder if I should tell her what I recived I suddenly have a thought and ask.
"By the way what is your class? Don't think I ever asked before now?"
"Well I got a fairly basic class really, I got scout as my class. It gave me my true strike ability when I ranked up, I just hope that it upgrades to something a touch more specialised when I rank up again." Kama states with a bit of melancholy.
"Hmm." I ponder if I should tell her but eventually figure why not and go ahead and fill her in on the deluge of notifications and unlocks I got. Watching as Kana's face goes through a range of emotions is quite entertaining not going to lie, with it finally resting on one of both awe and a touch of jealousy. To try and aliviate that jealously I say. "Well with my new 'body of lust' I'm going to need someone to satiate my appetite so I'm hoping you ain't thinking of running off once we get back to civilisation now." I smile as her face heats up. Souring me to stand up from the water and saunter over to her, looking up into her eyes I reach out with my arms to wrap them around her head, having to go on my tip toes for it and pull her head down into my chest.
Seeing her already blushed face turn several shade deeper I chuckle and gently stroke her hair. "You are the best thing that has happened to me in a long time Kana, even since before comming to this world. So I'm not lying when I say that I would love for you to stay by my side as I explore and adventure. I know so little about this world and I want to experience as much of it as I can and I cannt think of anyone better to explore it with that you." I feel her tighten the hug and I can feel her smile as I finish up my impromptu speech.
Supprising me she straightens up whist still holding onto me causing me to reflexively wrap my legs around her waist and makes our boobs to squish together pleasantly, her tail also joins in wrapping around my waist whilst her hands settle on my butt. "I have been wandering around from place to place trying to find somewhere that I can fit in, and it seems like your the one I end up writhing the best with. So yes I would love to continue exploring with you." Kana says with a lovely smile and our happiness radiating from her violet eyes. After saying so she leans in and presses her lips to mine in a slow sensuous kiss.
We stay that way for some time just enjoying the closeness with each other before I pat her back and pull back, she slowly lowers me to the ground with a smile which I return. Taking a step back I summon my dress and gesture at the horizon. "So my lovely succubuss, which direction do we go to find an inn and an actual bed. Because I don't know about you but is like to be able to fuck you in a bed and not on the floor for once." This statement had the desired effect and caused her to splutter in embarrassment.
Once she managed to compose herself she gave me a mock glare before huffing and pointing in a seemingly random direction. "If we walk that way for about 1-2 hours we should be able to see the village, might be cutting it close if we want to get there before nightfall though.
To this I only smile as I stretch a little before smirking at her and saying." Well I don't know about you but I am eager to burn off some of my excess energy so.. how about we run for a while?" Kama sighs dramatically before smiling back at me and reluctantly agreeing.
And so we head off towards new experiences and a new town.

Also yeah I am making her pretty op but I mean who doesn't love an op mc? Also I'm not going to make combat a focus of the story despite how it started out but it will be play its part going forward.
