After gong sun left, seo yul began to search for crown Prince Lee won's memorandum. He read through all the books there at an unbelievable speed but he couldn't find it.
Meanwhile, gong sun was walking towards home going through the same route they came by. She was fuming to herself saying how it was fast when she and seo yul came but it is even taking longer time for her to get back home.
As she was walking her heard footsteps behind her and stopped immediately, she looked around but could not find anyone, she immediately remembered what happened to her when she was at the forest the other day when she encountered a vampire. She shook her head negatively saying to herself that was a dream and immediately took to her heels.
The man who was following gong sun upon seeing that she was running away took out a knife from his pocket and immediately went after her.
Meanwhile gong sun who was running heater skelter could not concentrate on where she was heading to so she was tripped by a bark of a tree.
She screamed and as she was about to fall down, a hand came towards her grabbing her and and pulling her into his arms. It was seo yul who was done looking with what he was doing at the library and on his way back to came to her rescue. He looked the man chasing her in his face and was about to say something but the man did not even wait to let him talk before he turned around running away for his life.
After the man ran away, seo yul tried to console gong sun who was still shivering with fright in his arm. She looked in his face telling him she was been followed by a man then she began crying again when she finished her sentence.
Seo yul seeing that he was not able to calm her down, he told her to wait from him and that he was coming. She asked him where he was going and he told her he wants to check out who was following her.
Gong sun held him, shaking her head she told him not to go that it was dangerous but seo yul pulled away gently from her grab and immediately went after the man.
Meanwhile, the man was still running 🏃♂️ helter skelter for his life. He was looking back time after time to check if anyone is following him. The moment he looked back and look his front again he was shocked to see seo yul who had used his insane speed to overtake him.
Seo yul grabbed him by his neck and flinched him to a tree. He then walked up to him, he grabbed him in his neck, he asked him who was behind him, the man just pleaded asking him to save his life.
Seeing that the man was not answering his question, seo yul tightened his hold around the man neck strangling him, the man who was now struggling kept tapping his hand. Seo yul then asked him one more time who was after him which he immediately replied that he was following the head gisaeng order. Seo yul had a shocked expression on his face when he heard this, he looked at the man then he left him alone and went to find gong sun alone.
Meanwhile, gong sun who has recovered a little bit has already got up from where seo yul place her to sit. She was not able to sit down calmly knowing that seo yul went after that man so she also went after him immediately.
While looking for seo yul, she met him half way to where seo yul caught the man and she immediately bombarded him with question asking him if he doesn't fear anything and why he went after the man when he does not know anything about him. She went on saying what if something has happened to him.
Seo yul on hearing this just smiled then asked her if what she think is that the person who was following her is a vampire. Hearing this, gong sun was speechless, she said to him incoherently that the forest is a dangerous place.
Seo yul then took out something which looks like a necklace from his pocket, he showed it to her that it is an incense with Chinese hawthorn case and what wild aminal and vampires hate the most is it's scent.
He then went ahead wearing it on her neck, telling her that if she wears it on her always, she won't have to worry about her been harmed by either wild animals or vampires.
Seo yul didn't say anything regarding that and just said faintly that what she heard was definitely footsteps of a human. She then remembered what they came for and asked him if e had found the book as he came back too fast.
Seo yul replied her saying he has a business that day so he will leave first. Gong sun said nothing and look up to the sky, then she said to seo yul that the weather has changed and it seems it's about to rain and she does not think that it will be a small rain. Seo yul just smiled, took her hand and immediately began to ran towards home holding her hand.
