His junior sister had completely surprised him.
He thought she'd be shy and unsure.
But instead, she was wild...passionate like a demon, moaning like she was trying to drive him crazy, and the moment he finished, she was already asking for more.
Had she always been like this?
Or was it only like this with him?
Just thinking about it made him hard all over again.
The soft golden light of dawn filtered through the windows, casting a gentle glow across the bed.
The sheets were still messy from the night before, and a peaceful silence filled the room.
Ye Chen lay on his side, one arm wrapped gently around Nalan Yanran, who was still asleep beside him.
Her breathing was slow and steady, her face calm and relaxed. A light blush remained on her cheeks, and her long lashes cast faint shadows on her skin.
She looks so peaceful like this, Ye Chen thought, gazing at her quietly.
So different from the proud, commanding girl everyone sees in the sect.
His eyes followed the soft curve of her shoulder. A wave of guilt crept into his chest...he hadn't held back last night.
His body, strengthened by the powerful Dragon-Elephant Constitution, always burned with intense energy.
Sometimes it was hard to control, especially when she responded to him so willingly, so warmly.
Was I too rough with her? he wondered, just as Nalan Yanran stirred beneath his arm.
Her lashes fluttered before her green eyes slowly opened, still heavy with sleep.
When she saw Ye Chen looking at her, a soft smile curved her lips.
She shyly pulled the blanket up to cover herself.
"Morning," Ye Chen said with a gentle smile, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
She yawned softly, her voice a little hoarse. "Mm... What time is it?"
"Still early," he replied. "The other disciples won't be at morning drills for at least another hour."
At that, her body tensed slightly, as if remembering the responsibilities that awaited her. "I should go..."
"Stay," Ye Chen said quietly, tightening his embrace around her. "Just a little longer."
For a moment, she hesitated. She was a proud disciple of the Misty Cloud Sect....being seen sneaking out of a man's room could cause scandal.
But as Ye Chen held her close, warmth flooding from his touch, she relaxed again.
"...A little while," she whispered, closing her eyes again.
He stroked her cheek with the back of his fingers, then leaned in close.
"Yanran," he said softly. "Tell me if anything feels off. If you're in pain, or if something doesn't feel right—tell me, okay?"
She opened her eyes and looked at him, a bit confused at first.
But then she gave him a sleepy smile. "Senior Brother... you're still worried?"
He nodded slowly. "You're too important to me. You both are."
She blinked, not fully understanding what he meant by both, but her heart warmed anyway.
Maybe he was just being overly protective, but she could feel the sincerity in his voice.
"You're acting like an old man," she said, her voice teasing as she snuggled closer into his chest.
Ye Chen chuckled. "Maybe so. But even if I become old and gray, I'll still protect you with everything I have."
They lay there in silence, not needing to say more. The quiet was comforting, filled with a sense of unspoken closeness.
But moments like this couldn't last forever.
"I really should leave before someone sees me," Yanran finally said, her voice low with reluctance.
She tried to get up, but as soon as her feet touched the floor, her knees buckled slightly.
"Ah...Senior Brother, help me!"
Ye Chen was already moving. He caught her easily and helped her back onto the bed, laughing gently.
"You're not ready to walk just yet," he teased. "Want me to carry you back to your room like a princess?"
"No way!" she said quickly, her face turning bright red. "Can you imagine what people would say?"
With his support, she stood again....though slowly, and with great care.
Every step reminded her of last night's passion. Her body ached, but in a strange, almost sweet way.
Ye Chen helped her dress, his hands now careful and patient.
There was no rush, no lust....just quiet affection in every movement.
He made sure she didn't strain herself, gently adjusting her robe, tying the sash, brushing her hair with his fingers.
When she was fully dressed, she turned to face him. Her posture was straight, her expression determined, though her eyes still carried warmth.
"I'll go by myself. If anyone sees us together right now... it'll only make things harder."
Ye Chen didn't argue. He respected her pride. He simply nodded, though his hand lingered on the small of her back as she stepped toward the door.
Her movements were careful, her walk still a little shaky....but she didn't slow down.
She held her head high.
Watching her go, Ye Chen couldn't help but smile with pride.
"That's my woman," he murmured under his breath, eyes shining.
When the door finally closed behind her, he let out a quiet sigh. His body relaxed, his heart full.
Last night hadn't just been about passion—it was something deeper.
A turning point. Years of feelings that had built up between them had finally been released, and something had changed.
They weren't just Senior Brother and Junior Sister anymore.
They were something more.
Something real.
