Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Let Me Test the Power of This Thing

"Hey! Baka! Do you know how to drive?!"

After the black Toyota was hit and stopped, three tall, burly men in black suits immediately got out. They swaggered over, aggressively pounding on the hood of Akemi's car, endlessly shouting "baka."

This made Akemi very nervous. She instinctively gripped the steering wheel and asked anxiously, "What should we do?"

"What else can we do?" Shiraishi E was amused. "I was worried that after taking one out, the others would run away. I didn't expect them all to get out of the car themselves. As they say back home, 'When fate hands you an opportunity, it's a crime not to take it.' Or to put it another way, the chance has been given to you; if you can't seize it, you're useless!"

As he spoke, he took out the Glock provided by the system and pushed open the car door.

"Baka! How is your person driving?" a fierce-looking man yelled at Shiraishi E. "And you're wearing a mask? Are you that afraid of being seen?"

He had just finished speaking when he saw the other man pull out a pistol. Instantly, the three men in black fell silent.

"N-No, you... y-y-you... why are you pulling out a gun without a word?" one of the men in black panicked, his speech stuttering. "Young man... y-you... calm down!! Don't be impulsive. You're still young, you can't do anything illegal!"

"Yeah, yeah—" another man in black said nervously, "I admit... we were wrong just now, we were a bit loud, s-sorry."

"We... we won't make you pay for the damage. That's good enough, right?" the third man in black quickly backed down.

Watching their bravado deflate so quickly, Shiraishi E couldn't help but laugh. He sneered as he watched the three slowly back away while subtly reaching for their own guns. "Too late, you've already scared me!"

At these words, the faces of the three men in black changed drastically, but before they could draw their guns, three shots rang out—bang, bang, bang. A red dot appeared on each of their foreheads. With a thud, the three fell to the ground in perfect unison.

Amidst the terrified screams of the surrounding crowd, Shiraishi E went to the black Toyota, took the two money cases, and got back into the car. After he closed the door, without him needing to say a word, Akemi quickly drove away.

Shiraishi E opened a case, a satisfied smile on his face. "Very good, this time it wasn't a waste of effort! Fifty-fifty." He placed one case on the passenger seat.

Akemi glanced at it, clearly excited as well. After so many days of hard work, they finally had some income. It hadn't been easy!

Just as she was about to find a less crowded place to park, she heard him ask, "Did you put a tracker on the other car?"

"Yes... why?" Akemi asked, puzzled.

"Follow them!!" Shiraishi E checked the time. "We still have time, so let's take them out too. If this batch of flour gets onto the market, how many more families will be ruined?"

"Okay!" Akemi couldn't refuse this reason. She knew how harmful drugs were. She immediately switched the signal source on her phone and quickly located the other gang's vehicle.

Akemi quickly began the pursuit. After observing their route, she said, "They seem to be heading out of the city. Why don't we wait until we're in the suburbs to make our move?"

"Let's catch up to them first!" Shiraishi E said, depositing the illicit funds into the Bandit System. The account in the Bandit System once again had an additional 25 million yen. His funds were plentiful again!

Since they weren't expecting it, it only took Akemi about twenty minutes to catch up to the car that had bought the flour. She reminded him, "It's that black Mercedes S-Class ahead... are we using the same method as before?"

"There are fewer cars here, no need for that much trouble!" Shiraishi E said, buying a rocket-propelled grenade launcher from the Bandit Mall. He chuckled, "正好 I'll test the power of this thing!"

Akemi glanced in the rearview mirror and was stunned to see him pull out an RPG from somewhere. Her brain short-circuited for a few seconds. When she came to, she quickly turned her attention back to the road. Luckily, this stretch of road was straight, and there were no accidents.

Akemi let out a sigh of relief, then said worriedly, "Is... is this... a bit too high-profile?"

"As they say back home, 'Be low-key in life, but high-key in your actions,'" Shiraishi E said, moving to the other window. He chuckled, "Besides, fighting drugs is something that should be widely publicized... You drive steady, don't swerve. If I hit another car, it's not my fault."

Hearing this, Akemi gripped the steering wheel tightly, not daring to change direction.

Shiraishi E leaned half his body out, aimed the RPG at the black Mercedes S-Class, and pulled the trigger. The grenade shot out with a whoosh and slammed into the rear of the Mercedes.

BOOM!!

The black Mercedes S-Class instantly exploded into a fireball! The powerful impact even lifted the car into the air. It did a 180-degree spin before the roof crashed onto the ground with a loud clang, its four wheels spinning helplessly.

Watching the car in front of her turn into a fireball in an instant, Akemi's heart leaped, and she quickly steered to avoid it. After passing the fireball, she couldn't help but look in the rearview mirror. The people inside the Mercedes hadn't struggled at all; they had died instantly.

"Stop looking! The traffic police are catching up," Shiraishi E noticed the flashing red lights and sirens in the distance. "Shake them off!"

"O-Okay." Akemi snapped back to reality, realizing the police were closing in. But she wasn't very nervous. After witnessing Azu's recklessness, these police officers seemed incredibly tame in comparison.

After making a U-turn at the next intersection, Akemi said, "I have a spare car parked in a nearby parking lot. I'll drive there now and switch cars."

"Alright," Shiraishi E immediately agreed. "I'll get rid of these traffic cops."

He threw away the RPG and bought an automatic rifle with a scope, firing at the pursuing police cars. Rat-a-tat-tat.

Akemi had been worried about him accidentally hurting someone, but then she saw in the rearview mirror that the police cars were all skidding to a halt. She realized he had been aiming for the tires. She breathed a sigh of relief and took the opportunity to shake off the police cars, heading towards the nearby parking lot.
