Under the glowing orb, Yujin studied carefully.
Technology, magical legends, and support categories.
These three categories had already taken up a lot of his time.
During this period, the newcomers wandered around, but Yujin didn't pay them any attention.
Ruan Wei and Xiao Yehui had wanted to make friends with him, but Yujin's behavior that day had been too aggressive, so they didn't dare approach him.
Zhang Jie squatted under the orb, studying for a long time as well, but unfortunately, he had no money. He could only look and touch nothing.
After receiving Yujin's hint—"Just find the feeling you had when you were near death. That's better than anything else"—Zhang Jie returned to his room to explore on his own.
After finishing the three main categories, Yujin finally turned his attention to the entertainment section.
For the other reincarnators, this was the most important category.
In the Lord God Space, every second of enjoyment mattered.
Food never eaten in a past life.
Services never experienced.
Wine never tasted.
Here, everything could be fulfilled.
If a person stayed highly tense all the time, their mind would eventually collapse.
But for the legendary stress-resistant Yujin, that wasn't a problem.
A man who could survive seven years in the Impel Down without breaking down had no need to spend money on such indulgences.
After skimming through quickly, Yujin finally found what he wanted.
[Return to the previous horror world for 24 hours / 10 reward points]
He spent another 35 reward points to purchase ten pounds of top-grade instant coffee, an oversized backpack, a case of bottled water, a solar water heater, a lighting helmet, and gold bars.
Considering that returning to the Alien world might drop him at any predictable location, and could even directly drop him into an unknown region of outer space, he spent a hefty 200 reward points to buy a high-quality spacesuit with a built-in oxygen tank.
After putting on the spacesuit and preparing everything, he faced the glowing orb and activated the teleportation.
[Spent 50 points, exchanging to return to the previous horror movie timeline.]
[Teleportation will activate in 30 seconds.]
[Destination — Alien: Covenant]
[Duration: Five days]
Thirty seconds passed in the blink of an eye. A pillar of light enveloped Yujin, and then he vanished from the Lord God Space.
"Beep beep beep!"
After the blinding light faded, Yujin opened his eyes, clad in a spacesuit and carrying a large pack.
The moment he opened his eyes, he formed a Shadow Clone just in case of an ambush.
Around him, loud sirens and horns blared incessantly.
He looked around in confusion at the chaotic traffic and towering buildings. Then he slapped his thigh.
"Fifty points wasted! Why did it send me to Earth?"
"Ahhh!"
In front of him, a white child holding a coin jumped in fright at Yujin's sudden appearance, dropping the coin.
The coin rolled all the way until it fell into a sewer.
------
"Clang clang clang~"
A damp, dark underground prison.
Two guards, one fat and one thin, holding steel rods, pushed open the cell door.
"This kid still won't talk?"
The thin guard hurriedly encouraged his captain. "Yes, sir. He's stubborn as a mule. He'd rather starve than say a word."
"What a tough nut to crack!"
"Captain, I'm pretty sure he won't give in. If that's the case, send him out and let the beasts teach him a lesson!"
"Hmph. I'll interrogate him myself. Watch and learn."
The fat guard rested his steel rod on the prisoner's shoulder as he spoke.
"Speak! What did Ironhead tell you? Does he have any information about the Celestial Dragons? And why did you come from the Crimson Hell to the Beasts' Hell? How much do you know about your captain's situation back then? Speak!!"
Feeling the weight of the steel rod on his shoulder, the pirate Yujin slowly lifted his head.
He lowered his brows and averted his eyes from the jailer in front of him, smiling faintly.
"Asking so many questions in one breath… even a CET listening test isn't this relentless, right?"
Hearing the prisoner dare to mock him, the fat jailer raised his steel rod and struck Yujin's head directly.
Bang!
The sound of metal clashing echoed through the corridor.
Yujin kept a straight face, his smile fading.
"Strikes without warning. Not even a hint beforehand."
"Heh, kid, you really like talking nonsense." The fat jailer swung the rod again, aiming straight for Yujin's face.
Bang!
It felt the same as before, hitting iron.
The thin jailer nearby whispered a reminder, "Iron Head taught him the iron body! At this level, the strikes won't work!"
"Whatever you say!" The fat jailer's expression darkened immediately.
He lifted the rod and swung it at Yujin with all his strength.
Bang!
The result was still the same.
The steel rod struck as if against solid iron, and Yujin still had a smile at the corner of his mouth.
"I don't believe this can't be fixed!"
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The fat jailer continued pounding the iron in the cell.
An unaware onlooker might have thought he was reenacting the scene of making the Mark I armor in Iron Man 1.
After a while, the fat jailer grew tired.
Yujin's physique was impressive, but after so many hits, his head buzzed with pain, and he simply closed his eyes.
Seeing the prisoner dare to "sleep" in front of him, the fat jailer could no longer hold back.
"Go get the ice bucket!"
Splash!
Buckets of icy water poured over Yujin again and again, making his body shiver uncontrollably.
The long torment prevented him from focusing; the iron block sometimes worked, sometimes didn't, and soon blood ran from his head.
The pain from the steel rod hitting his head nearly clouded his consciousness.
Then the fat jailer pressed the scorching branding iron against him, the last straw to crush the camel.
Yujin's facial skin emitted a burnt smell, and the pain was unbearable.
Inside, Yujin struggled fiercely, calculating whether he could escape with all his strength and reach the Starvation Hell of the Impel Down.
If successful, he would be one step closer to the 5.5-Newkama Land.
One step closer to freedom.
But failure meant even crueler torture, stricter surveillance, and an even slimmer chance of escape.
As the fat jailer pressed the branding iron against his face once more, Yujin could no longer hold back.
A flash of determination appeared in his eyes.
He whispered, "Come over, Jailer. Come here, and I'll quietly tell you what Iron Head told me."
The fat prison guard froze at Yujin's words, stopping his actions. A trace of smugness flashed in his eyes.
He thought Yujin had finally submitted and slowly stepped closer, leaning his ear toward Yujin's mouth.
"Come closer, a little closer," Yujin said in a low, hoarse voice, as if about to reveal an important secret.
The fat guard didn't suspect a thing and leaned in even further.
At that moment, a cold light flashed in Yujin's eyes!
He suddenly opened his mouth and, using all his strength, sank his teeth into the fat guard's neck!
The bite was filled with the force of anger and desperation, his teeth digging deep into the guard's flesh.
The fat guard cried out in pain, instinctively trying to push Yujin away, but Yujin clamped down, his eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty light.
It was the gaze of a wild beast fighting to survive in a desperate situation!
The thin guard nearby witnessed the scene and was terrified by Yujin's feral eyes, taking two steps back in shock.
His face turned pale, and the steel rod in his hands nearly slipped from his grip.
He had never seen such madness before, and he never imagined a prisoner would dare to fight back in such circumstances.
The fat guard's struggles gradually weakened, his strength draining with the blood flowing from his neck.
Yujin finally released his bite, and the fat guard collapsed onto the floor, his blood spreading across the cell.
The thin guard finally realized the urgency of the situation. He knew he had to act immediately!
He dropped his steel rod and, his voice trembling, shouted at Yujin, "You… you madman! Help! Help! He… he's killing someone!" He reached for the alarm button in the room.
But just then!
A black lightning-like strike shot toward him!
"Pfft!"
A tail tipped with a sharp hook pierced the thin guard's throat.
"Clang clang~"
The body fell to the ground, and something shiny caught Yujin's attention.
It was…
A set of keys.
