Gerissen stood there, stunned, staring at over a dozen Chunin from Sunagakure lying motionless on the ground.
"Am I still dreaming?" He slapped himself hard, then sobered up: "This girl looks so delicate, but she's actually this strong."
Nayou, known as the Little Iceberg, showed no sign of triumph after her win. With an indifferent tone, she apologized to him: "Sorry, Uncle Gerissen. I may have gone slightly overboard."
What could Gerissen do?
His mind was a mess: "Slightly overboard caused all this? If she'd gone any harder... honestly, I wouldn't have blamed her either."
Trying hard to control his expression, he stammered in reply: "N-No problem at all, Little Nawaki really is impressive indeed."
"So now it's my turn, right, Uncle Gerissen?" Nawaki had been robbed of the opening move and now looked eager to go.
"Again? Please, you two little terrors, have mercy on me!" Gerissen silently screamed in despair inside.
Still, thinking about Third Kazekage's orders, he stiffly agreed: "S-Sure thing, young master Nawaki."
Smiling innocently, Nawaki immediately said: "Then thank you very much, Uncle Gerissen!"

Gerissen held his chest weakly as he called for several other Suna Chunin to step onto the field.
Deeply wounded emotionally, he had long lost the cheerful mood he started with.
"I am Senju Nawaki! Hope everyone will bear with me!"
Nawaki had no intention of wasting time exchanging words with these extras. As soon as he finished speaking, he rushed directly toward one of them.

Orochimaru couldn't let him just leave like that: "Kazekage-dono, I believe this should be Nayou and Nawaki practicing together. They really don't know their own strength—I must apologize on their behalf."
After briefly considering, the Third Kazekage recalled the various requests from Team One that Gerissen had reported a few days prior.

"Kazekage Tower secured."

These rhythmic booming sounds gave Mole Shen quite a scare.
"Earthquake? Does desert regions even have earthquakes? It must be that idiot Nawaki again. Why does he always insist on showing off so much?"
With absolutely no sense of irony, he continued working nonstop while internally grumbling about Nawaki, who was currently using Acting No Jutsu [Nō Keshiki] at the training ground.
Shortly afterward, having completed his setup at the previous location, he crept silently toward his next objective.
"Huh? It's already gone that fast?"
Mole Shen stared in shock at the now-empty scroll.
"Where am I again?"
He looked up at the rows of shelves filled with puppets and finally realized he was in a puppet storage warehouse.
"So this is the weapons storage room. Whatever, now that everyone's gone, who even cares about using these things anymore? Though there are definitely some pretty awesome items lying around… Hehe."
Shen, who happily helped himself to a few samples along the way, insisted he absolutely had 100% scientific motives behind each item he took.
In fact, he believed he was practically dedicating his entire soul to advancing science within the shinobi world.
