At the Hyūga Clan grounds, Elder Kazushi had arrived to stir up trouble.
"The Old Relic, I'll give you one minute to come out!"
Right in front of the Hyūga clan leader's home, Kazushi stood tall with an air of supreme confidence.
He had a cigarette dangling from his lips. His hands crossed in front of his chest, wearing a long black coat—he exuded sheer dominance.
"The Old Fart, you actually have the guts to show up on my turf? Everyone back off, let me handle this!"
Clad in white kimono robes, Meide waved off the approaching Hyūga clansmen and then descended gracefully from the rooftop like a Heaven-sent deity, landing before Kazushi.
"The Old Relic, here I am!"
"The Old Fart, your timing's perfect!"
The moment their eyes met, it felt as if lightning had struck between them.
The gathered Hyūga clan members all retreated, not wanting to get caught in this god-tier showdown.
"Hahahaha, Old Relic—you're still as annoying as ever!"
"The Old Fart, do we really need to say this?"
[Sharingan!]
[Byakugan!]
With the eruption of their chakra, cracks began spreading across the ground. The onlookers were forced to keep retreating—again and again.
Kazushi's Three-tomoe Sharingan eyes watched every move like eagle's eyes, yet he remained arrogant enough to blow out another smoke ring.
"Tsk!"
Seeing such audacity, Meide couldn't help but curse under his breath. His visible veins bulged even more at the sight.
"Old Relic, you really can't keep your temper in check. As clan head, speaking such crude words in front of everyone—how disgraceful," Kazushi said lightly, as if untouched by tension. His aura was undeniably overwhelming.
Meide didn't care what schemes the other man had planned: "Old Fart, that's all you've got—just talk! If you're so tough, take it outside!"
Internally thrilled he got the reaction he wanted, Kazushi showed no mercy outwardly: "Who's afraid? If I don't come, I'm a dog!"
Boiling with rage, barely holding back an explosion, Meide roared toward the distant Hyūga clansmen, "All of you go about your business! No one is allowed to follow or interrupt me today while I teach this old fart a lesson!"
Would the watching Hyūga dare voice objections? Not a chance!
Instantly, only these two titans remained on the battlefield.
"Come closer, Old Relic."
After seeing the crowd disperse, Kazushi smiled and raised his hand, luring mockingly toward his target.
Initially thinking this was just a provocation, Meide now sensed something different—the signs clearly pointed to a matter not meant for others' ears.
Feeling tricked, Meide naturally couldn't resist throwing some bitter sarcasm: "What now? You smile looks particularly slimy, old fart!"
"Hehehe…"
Seeing that smug grin, Meide finally decided to hear whatever secret this man wanted to share.
Upon seeing him approach, Kazushi casually slung an arm over the other's shoulder and whispered with a grin, "Old Relic, what I'm about to say might shock you, but don't freak out too much—my younger son sent me a letter today."
"Wait, what did you say? Your younger son wrote you a letter? What for?"
Meide immediately tensed up upon hearing the first sentence—his beloved daughter was on the same team as the other party's youngest son.
Kazushi instantly exploded in anger. "What are you so worked up about? You actually think my kid would do something to your precious daughter? We Uchihas don't stoop that low!"
"You old fossil, I can totally see you thinking like that!"
"Enough from you, Old Fossil. Let's focus on what matters."
Kazushi knew this wasn't the time for pointless quarrels. Swallowing his urge to punch the guy, he began calmly explaining everything.
Meide had been all ready to throw a punch after the first half, but as Kazushi laid out every detail, he slowly started to get what he needed to do.
"So Old Fossil, you better listen to me."
"You wish, old man! If not, we'll just go our separate ways!"
"With your scrawny build, you really think you can make it to Sunagakure in three days?"
Meide fell silent after getting shot down by Kazushi.
He knew the faster he got there, the safer his precious daughter would be. But the idea of riding to Sunagakure with *this guy* in a car still made him cringe.
"Don't worry, Old Fossil," Kazushi assured. "I'm an experienced driver. As long as nothing serious happens, we'll get there pretty quick."
"Fine, old man, I'll trust you just this once!"
Seeing the other party finally agree, Kazushi secretly breathed easier. If they didn't leave right away, his own brat might cause all sorts of trouble in Sunagakure.
"Then hurry up and go fetch some Senju people. And remember to stay discreet when leaving the village."
"Why should I go? Can't you, old man, go instead?"
"You want me—an Uchiha—to step into Senju territory? Who's crazy here, you or me?"
"Just wait and see!"
After fierce verbal sparring, Meide fled defeated, heading straight toward the Senju compound.
"Old Fossil thinks he can talk back to me? Other than that brat, I've never lost to anyone before!"
Kazushi shook off his trench coat, raised his eyebrows, and strutted away.
But had he forgotten someone he'd never beaten in a verbal duel?
The Uchiha clan head always said: You can eat whatever you want, but watch your words carefully—he truly was a decent man.

An hour later, Meide brought Tsunade sneaking quietly to the meeting spot outside the village.
This location also happened to be where someone had previously designated Team One's assembly point.
With a cigarette hanging from his mouth and clearly impatient, Kazushi immediately snapped upon seeing them. "What took you two so long? Don't you know in times like these, time is life? What if everything hinged on a single second?"
"You think it's easy, old man? Sneaking into that casino alone meant dodging traps left and right. If not for needing secrecy, I'd have wiped out your whole crew already!" Meide naturally refused to accept it.
Tsunade felt super awkward. Just moments ago, she'd been having the time of her life at the casino when the guy suddenly yanked her into a corner.
If she hadn't quickly realized the approaching figure was the Hyuga clan head, she'd have already sent him flying with one punch.
"What does it have to do with me? That contraption in the casino was his kid's invention. Let them take it up with him if there's trouble!"
Meide wore an indifferent look on his face as he stared at Kazushi, but inside he was seething.
He was the proud head of the Hyuga Clan! How could he stoop to harassing a mere child? If he actually did such a thing, how would he ever face the elders and folks back home?
"Uncles, both of you, let's get moving already."
Tsunade interrupted at just the right (awkward) moment. If things continued like this, who knew how much more time they'd waste arguing.

The two feuding clan heads each snorted, refusing to acknowledge the other.
Still, Kazushi understood the urgency of their current situation and obediently took out the Sealing Scroll, releasing the prototype vehicle from it.
"Poof!"
After the smoke cleared, a massive iron block on four wheels appeared — it looked just like a black rectangular metal slab with tires attached.
"Pfft—hahahaha! Junk like this?! You're serious? This ancient clunker can actually run?" Meide burst into laughter upon seeing the wheeled metal monstrosity.
Kazushi gave a disdainful smirk. "You ancient relic, what do you know? You want it shiny and flashy so it becomes a perfect target on the battlefield? Just look at this ugly thing — roll it down the street, and no one would ever guess there's someone inside."
Thinking it over for a moment, Meide actually found some sense in those words. "Fine... I have to admit, old man, you may have the tiniest bit of a point."
"No time to explain. Let's move — now!"
Kazushi quickly changed the subject. Otherwise, he wouldn't have known how to weasel his way out — thank goodness for all those daily sparring matches with that smart-mouthed kid at home.
