Chapter 387: Transformer World
The fist grazed Su Sheng's cheek. Su Sheng grabbed his wrist, turned, and threw Ralph Dibny over his shoulder.
But Ralph Dibny didn't fall to the ground; he flew a considerable distance. One could clearly see his arm stretch over ten meters in an instant before Ralph Dibnyfinally hit the ground. Grunting, Ralph Dibnyinstinctively looked up. Seeing his arm, which was over ten meters long, and Su Sheng, who was over ten meters away, he was completely stunned.
What, what was going on?
Was he dreaming, or had he hit his head and was hallucinating?
"Hey, aren't you going to retract your arm?" Su Shengheld his wrist and shook it at him. He could still feel the sensation from his wrist?
This...
Ralph Dibny's eyes widened, and with a thud, he lay down again. He fainted; he simply fainted.
Su Sheng chuckled, letting go of his wrist. The wrist quickly retracted to its normal size. Immediately after, Su Sheng waved his hand, and Ralph Dibny, person and all, was directly teleported away by a Wave Transmission Wormhole. With two interesting abilities acquired, there was no rush for the abilities of the remaining ten people. Let Thinker and Flash take their time. Once they were all found, he would pick and choose if there were any interesting abilities to Copy.
Humming a tune, Su Sheng turned and returned to the villa.
Given Thinker's plan and Flash's execution, it would probably still take some time to find the remaining people. The Doomsday Wasteland World was not a concern. In Pacific Rim, Shao Industries was expanding, and their research into combining mechs and kaiju wouldn't be quick either. Da Bardda's training wouldn't show rapid improvement overnight. So... Su Shengdecided to go to the Transformer World to play.
It had been over a week since he sent An Harad to the Transformer World. An Harad hadn't contacted him during this time, but Su Sheng had learned a bit about her situation through the communication bracelet. At the very least, nothing unexpected had happened, and she should have settled down. However, it was absolutely impossible for An Harad to have achieved significant development in just over a week. Simply understanding the world would take a lot of time. Furthermore, the Transformers had not yet appeared or been exposed to the public, making it even harder for her to develop.
Su Sheng didn't plan to look for her when he went there; he would let her try to see what scale she could develop to on her own first.
After all, there were many geniuses in the Transformer World, such as Cade, the male protagonist in Transformers 4, who was a very talented inventor with a good understanding and research of Transformers. Uh... his daughter was also very beautiful. Secondly, there was Su Yueming, the president of the China region for the company that developed artificial Transformers. She was both cultured and skilled in martial arts, with excellent business acumen.
Su Sheng wondered what kind of powerful mech could be created if the technologies from the Transformer World and Pacific Rim were combined? Therefore, although Su Sheng planned to have a good time in the Transformer World, he didn't intend to meet An Harad; they would act separately. After briefly instructing Lauraand the others to keep in touch via the bracelet, Su Sheng didn't even bring his comfort pillow and went directly to the Transformer World.
Transformer World.
Hong Kong.
People came and went, a constant flow.
The surroundings were filled with lively noise, a mix of Cantonese and Mandarin, and occasionally a few words of English could be heard. It was a very inclusive city. Most people on the streets were in a hurry, and life moved at a fast pace. Su Sheng composed himself and quickly blended into the surroundings. First, he found some small items on the street, converted them into gold to exchange for money, and then went to a bank to open an account. Su Sheng began to wander around.
There were many kinds of street food, and occasionally he could see many beautiful women dressed brightly and coolly. Su Sheng ate while admiring the pairs of beautiful legs, feeling quite good. Of course, he didn't forget to use Indigo's ability to search for information about this world. So far, he hadn't found any rumors about Transformers online, but it didn't matter; his current goal wasn't to rush to find Transformersanyway.
He planned to stay in this world for a while and have some fun, find a few specific targets, and first lay the groundwork. For example, he could establish a technology company to research ordinary mechs. Perhaps he could research a direction and function opposite to Shao Industries, and... he also had to see the great show of mechs battling Transformers!
So Su Sheng's first target was Su Yueming, the president of the China region of Jianneng Technology Group, the company that developed artificial Transformers in the original work. However, according to the timeline, Transformers hadn't even appeared yet, so this technology company, which used Transformer fragments to research artificial Transformers, naturally wouldn't have appeared, and Su Yueming wouldn't have become the president of the China region.
Su Sheng searched for Su Yueming online while looking for a hotel to settle in.
Checked in, paid, took the room card.
Su Sheng walked towards the elevator.
At this moment, the elevator had not yet closed, and there was only one woman inside.
The woman was wearing high heels, pink shorts, and a white crop top that subtly revealed a black bra underneath. Her long hair was draped over her shoulders, her arms resting against the elevator wall, and her straight legs were slightly tilted. Seeing Su Sheng walk towards the elevator, she showed no intention of waiting; instead, she smiled provocatively and wiggled her finger.
Su Sheng 373 chuckled as he watched the elevator door slowly close and ascend.
"A challenge, huh? Perfect, I don't have a comfort pillow for tonight yet, you're it!" Su Sheng chuckled and waited for the elevator to come back down, while also controlling his luck to make his wishes come true.
Ding!
The elevator door opened. Su Sheng, who had taken the elevator up, found his room, opened the door, and entered.
The room's decor was quite nice and very clean. The large floor-to-ceiling windows, if not offering a panoramic view, at least provided a good one. Turning around, he took off his clothes and went to shower in the room, waiting to see if the elevator girl from earlier would come to his room. The sound of water stopped. The hotel didn't have bathrobes, so he simply wrapped himself in a towel and came out.
As soon as Su Sheng came out of the bathroom, he heard urgent knocking. Su Sheng opened the door and saw the elevator girl from earlier rushing in, anxious and flustered.
Speed Force activated.
Time seemed to be paused. Su Sheng glanced at the elevator girl, then flashed out, seeing several punks with tattoos and dyed hair rushing out from the direction of the elevator entrance. They must be looking for this elevator girl, right?
... ...
PS: The elevator girl from Transformers 4 who appeared for a second.
Chapter 388: elevator girl
Controlling luck, making wishes come true.
Su Sheng had to say, this ability was truly 9, simply amazing.
Returned to his original position, Speed Force retracted.
The elevator girl saw Su Sheng opening the door, paused, and recognized him, but she couldn't afford to think much now. Before she came back, she had been maliciously harassed and cursed at the other party a few times, but she didn't expect them to actually track her down to the hotel. If they found and caught her, the consequences would be unimaginable. So, without thinking, she directly threw herself into Su Sheng's arms, hugged him, and kissed him, while preparing to close the door.
Footsteps came from the corridor; apparently, those punks seemed to have seen someone enter Su Sheng's room and were planning to come over.
"Close the door quickly," the elevator girl said urgently.
Su Sheng suddenly said, "Kneel, leave it to me."
The footsteps grew more urgent. The elevator girl had no time to think and directly knelt by Su Sheng's leg. Su Sheng didn't close the door but untied his towel. At this moment, the punks outside the door arrived.
"What are you doing!" Su Sheng pretended to be flustered, pulling his towel straight to just block the elevator girl's upper body, while shouting at the punks outside the door. "Look, look, what are you looking at? Haven't you seen someone using their mouth?"
"Uh..."
The punks paused for a moment. Su Sheng suddenly reached out, dropped the towel, and closed the door.
At the moment the towel fell and the door closed, the punks saw the woman's appearance.
No?
It wasn't the person they were looking for?
Bang!
The door closed heavily. The punks looked at each other. "Search, keep searching!"
With a loud shout, the footsteps gradually faded away.
"Phew..." The elevator girl flushed and let out a long breath, somewhat awkwardly avoiding Su Sheng's gaze.
She realized that Su Sheng was using this method to trick those punks away, and it was fake, yes, but what she saw was real. When the towel was removed, that astonishing object was right in front of her. Even if she didn't deliberately lean in, she still felt like she must have touched it.
Too exaggerated!
Su Sheng bent down to pick up the bath towel and put it back on, then looked at the elevator girl on the floor who had survived the ordeal.
"Don't you have anything to say?" Su Sheng asked with a smile.
"You're too big," the elevator girl blurted out.
After saying that, she realized that he wasn't asking about that at all. She awkwardly composed herself, stood up, and said, "You're too bold. If they had rushed in, you and I would have been in big trouble. But it's a good thing you tricked them away. Thank you for helping me out."
"Is that all?" Su Sheng raised an eyebrow and smiled. "If I'm not mistaken, didn't we meet in the elevator just now? You were inside, and I was outside."
"Uh... sorry about that," the elevator girl apologized straightforwardly.
After speaking, the elevator girl seemed to intend to leave, but just as she reached the door, she heard a sound outside.
"Damn it, blockade downstairs and send people to guard this floor. I don't believe she won't come out!" The elevator girl's face stiffened. She turned around and looked at Su Sheng awkwardly, saying pitifully, "Um... they haven't left yet. Can I..."
"Want to stay?" Su Sheng interjected.
The elevator girl nodded repeatedly.
Su Sheng smiled. "You didn't open the door for me in the elevator just now, but I'm not like you. I wouldn't do something like that..."
It was awkward, truly awkward.
At that time, she had just cursed at some flirting ruffians and was in a bad mood, which was why she had provoked Su Sheng in the elevator. She never expected things to unfold this way. However, she found that this person was quite good: very quick-witted, intelligent, and courageous enough to help. Just as she was about to say thank you, she saw Su Sheng walk to the door and press the handrail.
"I wouldn't do something like that, wouldn't do something like not opening the door for someone. So... I'll open the door for you now..."
"No..." The elevator girl was shocked and quickly pressed his hand, pleading softly, "How can you be like this? If you open the door, I'll be dead."
"You didn't seem worried about me not getting on the elevator and delaying my plans, did you?" Su Shengreplied with a light chuckle.
"I, I thought you were a good person! I didn't expect you to be so petty. I'm sorry, I was wrong about the elevator thing. Can't I just apologize to you?" What quick-witted and intelligent, what a good person—this was a scoundrel!
"I accept your apology, but not the way you're apologizing!" Su Sheng said flatly, his eyes narrowing.
Their eyes met, and the elevator girl felt an inexplicable sense of fear.
"Kneel," Su Sheng said softly.
His voice seemed to carry an unparalleled sense of oppression. The elevator girl felt her legs weaken and her body go limp, dropping to her knees with a thud. Her heart pounded wildly. She actually had the thought that she dared not raise her head, dared not get up. Even without direct eye contact, Su Sheng's gaze from that moment lingered in her mind, seemingly still staring at her.
Su Sheng gently stroked her head with one hand and untied his bath towel with the other, saying softly, "Apologies aren't just spoken with the mouth; they are also made with the mouth!"
Slightly leaning forward, the elevator girl had already instinctively opened her mouth.
The ruffians outside were very persistent; they really did block people and didn't leave. But at some point, the elevator girl seemed to have forgotten about them. More accurately, she seemed to have even forgotten herself, merely instinctively obeying Su Sheng's arrangements. Those eyes, that sense of oppression and fear that arose from the depths of her soul, followed her like a shadow. She was usually bold and fiery, a hothead who dared to curse at the slightest disagreement, but now she was as docile as if she were under mental control, unable to muster the slightest bit of resistance or defiance.
Su Sheng didn't control her; it was just that if Su Shengunleashed his spiritual aura, ordinary people truly couldn't resist.
The first night in the Transformer World passed just like that. An elevator girl he had met only once became his first pillow in the Transformer World, and the kind with full knowledge development. By the end, she didn't even have the strength to beg for mercy. The precious thing she had preserved for so long was almost ruined in a single night.
The sky was clear, without a single cloud.
Su Sheng woke up leisurely around noon. The girl beside him was still in the same sleeping position as last night, unmoving. If it weren't for her steady breathing, he would have thought she had passed out.
"Hmm, I was a bit too rough," Su Sheng chuckled softly. "If she knew that a momentary provocation in the elevator would lead to such consequences, I wonder if she would regret it to death." He called the hotel for some food, then went to the bathroom to wash up.
Chapter 389: One-Night Stand and Su Yueming
The ruffians who had been staking out all night finally left in the morning; after all, they couldn't stay there indefinitely.
After washing up and getting dressed, Su Sheng ate breakfast while looking through Su Yueming's information.
Su Yueming currently worked at a small company in the country, earning three to five thousand yuan, working tirelessly and often overtime. From the information, she had been with this company for over a year. Aside from transitioning from intern to full-time employee, there was no sign of a potential promotion or any future prospects. However, her abilities and talents were quite good. Unfortunately, what China lacked least was talent, but rather opportunities to stand out. Even if she had ambitions, due to life's pressures, she could only remain at the company and work stably.
"It looks like she should be easy to poach. High benefits, good treatment, plus the opportunity to realize her ambitions and strengths shouldn't be a big problem." Su Sheng used his ability to directly send a recruitment email to Su Yueming's frequently used email address, detailing his desired company direction, invested capital, and her proposed compensation. Of course, such an email would most likely be mistaken for a scam or virus, so Su Sheng attached Su Yueming's resume.
That's right, her own detailed resume.
This at least proved that he had investigated her and that it wasn't a scam or prank. Finally, Su Sheng left his number, waiting for her to call him. After handling Su Yueming's matter, Su Sheng, of course, didn't forget to look for the male protagonist of Transformers 4, Cade. He was relatively easier to find; once the company was established, poaching him should be very simple.
And then!
Su Sheng also took some time to look for the male protagonist of Transformers 1-3, Sam, the student who bought a used car and reached the pinnacle of his life. It must be said, this guy's luck was truly good. A poor loser who wasn't even handsome, just because he bought a used car, his girlfriend was not only sexy and beautiful, but the car also turned into Bumblebee, and he even saved the world.
Once things here were handled, Su Sheng planned to go and see for himself, for Bumblebee and Mikayla, the female protagonist who looked exactly like Lai Li, one of the Firestorms.
After eating, Su Sheng shrugged and left, looking at the elevator girl who hadn't woken up yet.
This was his first time in Hong Kong, so he naturally wanted to explore and also enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by Chinese people. Simply put, it was about eating, drinking, and having fun. Towards evening, Su Sheng received a call from Su Yueming. The other party had probably seen the email and inquired tentatively. Su Sheng briefly explained a few things and then invited her to meet in Hong Kong.
Apparently, Su Yueming was still hesitant, but Su Sheng directly transferred 100,000 yuan to her account, calling it travel expenses.
This greatly surprised Su Yueming. If her previous information wasn't much, then finding her private bank account wasn't so simple. After much hesitation, Su Yueming still decided to go and see. Given the other party's situation, they probably wouldn't trick her out of anything, and she didn't have much to be tricked out of.
He opened the door and returned to the hotel.
Upon entering, Su Sheng saw the elevator girl sitting on the bed, wearing only her panties, lost in thought.
"You haven't left yet?" Su Sheng was a bit surprised, having expected her to leave after waking up. After all, it was just a one-night stand, and he was just looking for a temporary pillow.
The elevator girl looked at Su Sheng, wanting to speak but hesitating. She had indeed wanted to leave after waking up, but having lost everything overnight, although her heart was still filled with fear towards Su Sheng, she was unwilling to just leave like that. It was hard to say if it was for an explanation or for other reasons, but in any case, she didn't leave after showering and resting.
"If you haven't left, then stay. You can accompany me for another day," Su Sheng said indifferently. After all, this pillow's appearance and figure were quite good, and she was still original and unused, so it wouldn't hurt to use her for a few more days.
"What's your name?" the elevator girl asked.
"Did I ask your name?" Su Sheng retorted.
The elevator girl paused, then shook her head. From beginning to end, they hadn't had much verbal communication, let alone asking each other's names.
"You see, I didn't ask your name, so you don't need to ask mine. Yesterday was your apology, and today, if you want to stay, I won't let you suffer a loss." Su Shenglooked at her clothes on the floor, and that look made the elevator girl inexplicably awkward. She knew he was looking at her clothing brands.
But she was only wearing cheap clothes from street stalls.
Su Sheng opened the wallet he bought while shopping and counted the money inside. "There's about thirty thousand here. You're pretty and your figure is great. Use this money to buy yourself some nice clothes." Su Sheng casually placed the money on a nearby table.
The elevator girl's expression changed continuously.
"You, what do you mean? Do you think I'm..."
"It doesn't matter whether you are or not," Su Shengpouted. "I'm not insulting you or throwing money at you. It's just that what happened has happened. If you're willing to stay and don't want this money, that's fine too! I just want to make things simpler. It's not like I'm going to be with you and fall in love just because of a one-night stand, right? Putting aside whether I like you or not, even you probably don't really like me, right? It can only be described as a complex situation caused by multiple factors."
"So let's keep it simple. If you think I'm not bad and want to stay, then stay. As for this money, if you want it, take it; if not, I don't care. If you want to leave, the door is right there."
Su Sheng's words were somewhat blunt, but they were indeed the truth. The elevator girl herself wouldn't admit that she had fallen in love with Su Sheng; it truly was a complex situation caused by multiple factors, wasn't it? After a moment of hesitation, she didn't choose to leave, nor did she look at the money. Su Sheng shrugged. "I've been out all day, so I'm going to take a shower. If you want anything to eat, just call the front desk; I've already eaten."
Su Sheng turned and went to the bathroom.
Not long after, Su Sheng came out from his shower, wrapped in a bath towel, and saw that she was already eating, now wearing a women's bathrobe.
Su Sheng turned and lay down, taking out his phone to fiddle with it. His phone now had a social app, and after registering an account, he added two numbers—two girls' numbers.
...
PS: Su Yueming is the character played by Li Bingbing in Transformers 4.
Chapter 390: Decepticons Appear, Are the Autobots Far Behind?
Two numbers.
One was Mikayla, the female lead from Transformers 1, and the other was Tessa Yeager, the daughter of the male lead from Transformers 4.
After adding them, Su Sheng didn't pay much attention, casually browsing other news.
For Su Sheng, having a pillow next to him was nothing. At first, the elevator girl seemed a bit reserved, but Su Sheng's casual and natural attitude quickly helped her relax. Before she knew it, night had fallen. After lying down, the elevator girl initially thought Su Shengwould... would be like last night, but he merely held her and fell peacefully asleep.
At sunrise, in the morning, Su Sheng received a call from Su Yueming; she had arrived.
"Do you have anything planned later?" Su Sheng asked the elevator girl.
The elevator girl paused, then shook her head.
"Perfect, then. Get up, get ready, and come with me to meet someone," Su Sheng said.
After they washed up and dressed, they left the hotel and went to a coffee shop, where they met the still somewhat nervous and apprehensive Su Yueming. To be honest, Su Yueming was a bit disappointed after seeing Su Sheng. He was too young, and he had a woman with him, looking very much like a rich second-generation heir, a wealthy young master just playing at starting a company. Most importantly, Su Yueming had no idea what Su Sheng's background was, and his conduct didn't inspire confidence.
He didn't explain any core details; he just directly transferred three hundred million to Su Yueming for her to establish the company and build the factory, which made Su Yueming feel like it was all a game.
"I know what you're thinking, and I can more or less guess your concerns. How about this: once all the company's affairs are settled, I will provide you with core technology and specific directions. Believe me, this will absolutely be groundbreaking research," Su Shengsaid with a smile to Su Yueming.
"Alright."
What could Su Yueming say about Su Sheng's decisive and swift style? Anyway, even if the other party was just playing at starting a company, she wouldn't lose anything; at the very least, she could gain some experience. So, Su Yueming quickly threw herself into the company's establishment. The company's name was ancient kryptonian god Technology Co., Ltd. The name was strange, but as long as Su Sheng liked it, that was fine.
Approving company formation procedures, qualifications, acquiring factory buildings—Su Yuemingbecame busy. As for Su Sheng? He was completely hands-off. After their first meeting, once the employment relationship was confirmed and he handed the money to Su Yueming, he basically didn't interfere, only occasionally making a final decision when Su Yueming was indecisive. It's worth mentioning that the elevator girl had been following Su Sheng for the past few days. She didn't ask for money, nor did she leave. After about a week, Su Sheng suddenly sent the elevator girl to Su Yueming's side to work with her. Salary? Benefits? Position? None of these were mentioned, but the elevator girl readily agreed.
Afterward, Su Sheng left Hong Kong.
The Transformers appeared.
Just the night before, Su Sheng had intercepted a distress signal and a brief video clip from a military operations base online. In this clip, a fighting helicopter transformed into a giant robot and attacked the military outpost.
Decepticons member Blackout!
The Decepticons had already appeared; their purpose, naturally, was to find the AllSpark. Soon, the Autobotswould also appear.
For example, Bumblebee.
...
...
The sun was bright, and the sky was cloudless.
The scorching sun combined with the muggy weather made one feel like they would sweat profusely even doing nothing. At a desolate auto repair shop nearby, a car was slightly hoisted, with a pair of bronzed long legs exposed. A slender, sexy waist trembled slightly as Mikayla focused on repairing the car. After a while of clanging, Mikayla crawled out, wiping her back. She was wearing denim shorts and a pink camisole. Sweat beaded down her excellent, damp long hair, flowing over her bronzed skin. Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Mikayla was about to put the wrench aside when she noticed someone.
An Asian man.
He wore crisp trousers and a white shirt, looking fresh, clean, and possessing an inexplicable aura. She even noticed that he wasn't sweating. Dressing like that in such weather was fine, but not sweating at all was a bit exaggerated.
"Can I help you?" Mikayla asked.
"Want to earn some extra cash?" Su Sheng asked with a smile.
Mikayla pouted, "No interest."
"Here's five thousand US dollars. You just need to take me to the nearby used car market," Su Sheng said, taking out the money and placing it on a parked car nearby.
Mikayla was stunned.
Her living conditions weren't good. Her father was a car thief, and she even had a criminal record because of it, while her father was still in jail. She ran the auto repair shop alone; business wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Five thousand US dollars was a considerable sum for her. However, five thousand US dollars just for directions? Mikayla wasn't stupid; she didn't believe it. Most likely, he was just using it as an excuse to hit on her, right? She had seen many men like him and was confident she could handle them.
Mikayla walked out, casually closing the garage door. She approached Su Sheng, looked at him, then tucked the money into her back pocket and opened the car door. "Get in."
Su Sheng smiled, turned, and got into the car.
"Boom!"
The car started and quickly drove off. Su Sheng turned his head to observe Mikayla. Her hair fluttered slightly in the wind. The regular camisole looked almost like a low-cut top, and sweat flowed from her neck down her cleavage into the valley, creating an urge to explore it further.
"What are you looking at!" Mikayla was somewhat displeased with Su Sheng's scrutiny.
Su Sheng smiled, "You remind me a lot of a woman I used to know."
Mikayla sneered, "Don't you think that pickup line is too old-fashioned? I'm only responsible for getting you to your destination. Don't think about anything else. I'm not interested in you."
Su Sheng shrugged noncommittally.
Twenty minutes later, Mikayla took Su Sheng to a used car dealership. To be precise, this might have been the only one in the vicinity. Various used cars were parked in the lot.
"Thank you," Su Sheng said to Mikayla, opened the door, got out, and walked away.
In the car, Mikayla watched Su Sheng leave, slightly stunned. Was he really just here to buy a car? He left so decisively?
Chapter 391: Whether You Can Get What You Want Depends on You, Bumblebee!
"Wait."
Su Sheng hadn't walked far when he heard Mikayla's shout from behind him. He stopped, turned, and saw Mikayla catching up.
Su Sheng looked at her inquiringly. Mikayla tossed her hair. "Are you really here to buy a car?"
"Sort of? I'm looking for a specific car. If it's here, I'll buy it; if not, then I won't," Su Sheng said.
"I'll come with you. Maybe I can help you get a better deal. That way... I'll feel better about earning your money," Mikayla said.
Originally, she planned to drop him off and leave. If he tried to pester her, she wouldn't be polite. But she hadn't expected him to genuinely just be here to buy a car, which made her feel a bit uneasy about earning the five thousand US dollars, so she chased after him.
"Alright," Su Sheng nodded.
"What kind of car are you looking for?" Mikayla and Su Sheng walked into the parking lot, looking around as she asked.
"A Chevrolet Camaro," Su Sheng said.
"A Camaro?" Mikayla had thought he wanted to buy some special model. If he was buying it from a used car dealership, it must be an older model, right? This model shouldn't be worth him coming all this way for, should it? And he paid five thousand US dollars just for her to lead the way?
The two were walking when they saw a chubby black boss coming towards them.
"What can I help you with, gentlemen…?"
"Chevy Camaro, do you have one?" The boss's words were cut off by Su Sheng's direct wave.
It was indeed uncomfortable to have his words stuck, so the boss paused for a few seconds before continuing, "Yes, yes, yes, I have one in excellent condition. Follow me."
The boss led the way and quickly stopped in front of a yellow Camaro.
Just looking at the exterior, it was easy to doubt the boss's claim of "excellent condition." Mikayla proactively helped Su Sheng inspect the car, while Su Sheng asked the boss, "Is this the only one you have here?"
"Just this one."
"Have you sold any recently? The same model?" Su Sheng asked again.
This question puzzled the boss. He had never seen anyone ask this when buying a car, but he still shook his head and said, "No, this car isn't cheap, so…"
The boss's words remained unfinished, as he saw Su Sheng looking at Mikayla who was walking over. If he wasn't even looking at him, how could he continue talking?
"How much?" Mikayla asked the boss.
"Thirty thousand dollars," the boss said.
Mikayla didn't speak, but pulled Su Sheng aside and whispered, "It's only worth eight thousand dollars."
Su Sheng nodded, then turned to the boss and said, "Deal."
"You…" Mikayla subconsciously tugged at Su Sheng's arm. Didn't I tell you it was only eight thousand dollars? You actually bought it outright? That's not how you spend money, even if you have it. Besides, if you have money, why don't you buy a new car?
Seeing Su Sheng paying, Mikayla, a bit annoyed, simply turned and walked away.
The transaction was complete.
Su Sheng took the keys and got into the car.
How to put it, this car was truly old. As soon as the car started, the exhaust pipe spewed out a cloud of black smoke with a series of bangs, and when it drove, it rattled and clanked as if it could stall at any moment. After driving the car out, Su Sheng saw Mikaylastanding by her car, clearly waiting for him.
"Thank you for your help," Su Sheng said with a smile, pulling over.
Mikayla shook her head, "I don't know what you're up to, but this car won't make it. Come to my garage, I'll help you fix it."
Su Sheng smiled, "That's not necessarily true. Get in first, I'll take you for a spin."
"Taking a girl for a spin in this kind of sports car?" Mikayla pouted but still got into the car.
Su Sheng started the car.
"You think this car is no good?" Su Sheng asked while driving.
"What do you think?" Mikayla retorted irritably. "I think this car is worth about eight thousand, it's worth that price…"
"ZZZZZZ."
As soon as Mikayla finished speaking, the car's radio suddenly turned on by itself, and the harsh static startled Mikayla. She then said, "See? It's full of problems."
Su Sheng smiled and patted the steering wheel, then turned off the radio. "No, don't say thirty thousand, even if it's three hundred thousand, three million, thirty million, or even three hundred million, I still think it's worth it. Do you know why?"
"Because you're crazy?" Mikayla retorted impolitely.
Su Sheng laughed heartily and patted the steering wheel, "How about a bet? I'll make you agree that even three thousand is worth it, before dark, alright? If you think it's not worth it, I'll give you thirty thousand dollars. Conversely, if you think it's worth it…" Su Shenglooked Mikayla up and down. "…spend the night with me, how about that?"
"I have to admit it's worth it?" Mikayla asked.
"Of course."
Mikayla pouted, "If you want to give me money, why wouldn't I take it?"
"Then it's settled," Su Sheng smiled and continued driving.
The car drove aimlessly through the streets. At first, Mikayla didn't feel anything, but when Su Sheng cruised around the same spot several times, she couldn't help but ask, "What exactly are you doing?"
"Waiting for a car!" Su Sheng simply pulled over.
"I don't have time to waste here with you," Mikayla said in a deep voice.
"No need, I've waited for it!"
Su Sheng's eyes slightly narrowed, fixating on a yellow Camaro, a new model, driving past. Its sports car style looked very cool.
"Looks like we don't have to wait until night. The moment to witness a miracle has begun." Su Shengsaid, then directly opened the car door and got out. Mikayla followed him out, puzzled, and saw Su Shengpat the car's hood. "Whether I get what I want tonight depends on you. You need to upgrade, Bumblebee!"
"Bumblebee? You… you're talking to a car and you gave it a name?" Mikayla opened her mouth in astonishment, and quickly became dumbfounded.
What did she see?
Although both of them had gotten out of the car, the car itself started, turned around precisely, and made a turn. It actually chased after the previous Camaro.
Scan, transform.
Just before the car left their sight, it suddenly drifted and turned directly back, and at the same time, it transformed. In that instant, just an instant, the original old, worn-out car had transformed into a new model Camaro, identical to the one from before. The car screeched to a halt in front of Su Sheng and Mikayla, then there were two clicks.
The car doors opened.
"Surprised? Unexpected?"
"Is three hundred million dollars for a Bumblebee worth it?"
Su Sheng said with a smile to the stunned Mikayla.
Chapter 392: The Seventh District Transaction and Winning Mikayla
"What… what's going on?" Mikayla instinctively stroked Bumblebee's body. It really… it really changed. It was an old model Camaro just now, but now it's a new one! She stared wide-eyed at Su Sheng in surprise.
"Get in."
Su Sheng smiled and pushed Mikayla into the car, then walked around and sat in the driver's seat.
Closing the door, Su Sheng smiled and patted the steering wheel.
A roar instantly sounded, the sound completely different from before, and with a whoosh, Bumblebee directly shot out, and it was completely self-driving, wasn't it? Su Sheng didn't manipulate the luck points, but he was still very lucky. He bought a Bumblebee for thirty thousand dollars, whether it was for dismantling to study the Autobots' structure or for use as a vehicle, it was definitely a profit. And Bumblebee was very cooperative, directly upgrading and transforming without hiding its identity.
Su Sheng was actually a little hesitant about whether to dismantle Bumblebee.
"Forget it, seeing how capable you are and how you're helping me pick up girls, I won't dismantle you. Anyway, there are plenty of Transformers!" Su Sheng thought to himself, then turned to look at his stunned companion, Mikayla, extended his hand, and took hers. This seemed to give Mikayla something to rely on, and her fingers instantly intertwined with his as she looked at Su Sheng. "What, what exactly is going on?"
"Bumblebee, find a quiet place to stop," Su Sheng said, and Bumblebee quickly changed lanes and parked the car under an overpass.
Spacious and quiet.
Su Sheng and Mikayla got out of the car and said, "If you want to know what's going on, you first need to know what Bumblebee is. Bumblebee, transform."
As soon as he finished speaking, the car moved.
With a series of clicks and clacks, the car seemed to deform and disassemble, instantly transforming from a car into an Autobot.
Two legs, two arms, and a head.
It was like a robot.
This transformation made Mikayla instinctively throw herself into Su Sheng's arms.
"This is Bumblebee, a Cybertronian, a mechanical lifeform. Their home planet is the distant Cybertron. They are roughly divided into two factions: Autobotsand Decepticons. Simply put, Autobots are the good guys, and Decepticons are the bad guys. And then..." Su Sheng put his arm around Mikayla and began to explain, an explanation that surprised both Mikayla and Bumblebee.
Mikayla was surprised that such aliens existed, while Bumblebee was surprised that Su Sheng knew so much about Cybertron.
"That's how it is," Su Sheng said, patting Mikayla's shoulder. "This world will soon be in chaos. The Decepticons are looking for the AllSpark and their leader, Megatron, and they might find them very soon."
"Then, what should we do?" Mikayla asked instinctively.
"We'll figure it out," Su Sheng said with a smile. "Let's go back first. Bumblebee will send a signal to the Autobots to come for support, right?"
Bumblebee nodded, transformed back into car mode, and drove Su Sheng and Mikayla back to the car dealership.
"After you've contacted Optimus Prime and the others, come find me at Mikayla's house," Su Sheng told Bumblebee, then got into Mikayla's car.
Bumblebee drove off, and Mikayla, still a bit dazed, drove home.
Back in her familiar surroundings, sitting on her bed, Mikayla seemed to gradually calm down and thought of something. Since Su Sheng knew so much, did he specifically go to buy Bumblebee? Whether it was his actions at the car dealership or before Bumblebeeupgraded and transformed, he was always confident and certain. Who exactly was he?
Mikayla turned to look at Su Sheng and found he was on the phone.
"Yes, I sent that document just now. It's a single-person Mecha design blueprint. No, no, no, no... I'm not asking you to produce it. In fact, this Mecha has already been operational and has had multiple combat experiences. What I need is for you to use this design blueprint under the company's name to contact the United States Department of Defense and request to participate in the Seventh District's Hoover Dam project. Don't worry, this design blueprint is incomplete, even if they can replicate the Mecha, it lacks the core Neural Connection. In exchange for participation, we can sell them finished Mechas. Don't worry, tomorrow I will dispatch a Mecha for proof."
"I know, of course I know you don't understand these details, but what do you think I opened a company for? It's to research them. You just need to send people to learn the technology, get an understanding of it first, and then I'll get you experimental samples for in-depth research. Yes, I also sent a person with it. You can invite him to join the company as an engineer."
"That's it, let's talk tomorrow."
If he didn't dismantle Bumblebee, he could only start with other Transformers. The Hoover Dam contained the AllSpark and Megatron discovered by the Seventh District. Megatron could be put aside for now; Su Shengstill needed Megatron to lead the Decepticons in causing trouble, but researching the AllSpark and such was fine.
As for the Mecha, that was also easy. The one Su Shengprovided was not the Scarlet Mecha, but a weakened version. Its size, weight, and power were all vastly different. Su Sheng didn't even need to specifically go to the Pacific Rim World to get one; he could make one himself in a bit.
"Why are you looking at me?" Su Sheng asked Mikaylaafter hanging up the phone.
"You, who exactly are you?" Mikayla asked.
"Who do you think I am?" Su Sheng countered.
Mikayla shook her head: "I don't know, but can you please not involve me in this? I... I'm just a normal person."
"Don't you want to clear your criminal record? Don't you want your father released from prison?" Su Sheng came in front of Mikayla, wrapped one arm around her waist, and gently caressed her cheek, asking seductively.
Mikayla wanted to refuse, but the words wouldn't come out.
Of course she did!
"Look up at me," Su Sheng said softly.
Mikayla instinctively slowly looked up, and he leaned down and kissed her lips, his hand unceremoniously going directly into her shirt. A moment later, Mikaylasuddenly reacted and quickly pushed Su Sheng away. Su Sheng smiled.
"I'll help you!"
As his words fell, Su Sheng pushed Mikayla's shoulders, directly pushing her onto the bed. Su Shengwatched Mikayla slowly unbutton his shirt, button by button, his muscular and perfect physique fully revealed. Mikayla, seeing Su Sheng approaching shirtless, did not get up, but slowly turned her head to look away.
Chapter 393: Special Forces Appear
Washington D.C.
White House, Oval Office.
The somewhat gray-haired president was looking at a file about a Mecha, which had just been reported by the Department of Defense. Although he couldn't understand the Mecha's design blueprint at all, its performance and power were all marked. Putting down the file, the president asked the Secretary of Defense, "What's your opinion?"
"This Mecha manufacturing blueprint was sent by the president of an Huaxia company called ancient kryptonian god Technology Co., Ltd. I investigated this company; it was just recently established. This president, Su Yueming, was originally just an employee of a small Huaxia company with no background whatsoever. She should be an agent; the real boss provided the funds and this Mecha design blueprint. The source of the funds is not an issue, but the origin cannot be traced at all. They hope to intervene in the Seventh District's AllSpark research, and in exchange, they can sell us this type of Mecha."
"Preliminary assessment indicates high feasibility for the Mecha, and the other party is willing to provide proof and trials, but... the price of this Mecha is quite expensive; one unit costs fifty million US dollars!"
"Most importantly..." The Secretary of Defense paused, "This behind-the-scenes boss might have intelligence about these aliens!"
"What's your advice?" the president asked again.
"After confirming the Mecha's effectiveness, agree to the transaction and use the other party's intelligence to understand more about the aliens. This alien attack is very likely a sign, and we need to seize the time. Additionally... I request the Special Forces to intervene for protection and intelligence gathering," the Secretary of Defense said.
"Approved," the president decided.
After the Secretary of Defense left, he made a call and then boarded a plane.
Soon, the plane landed at the airport of a military base, where several people were already waiting.
Four people in total.
"Commander Hawk," the Secretary of Defense walked over, looked at them, and greeted them.
This commander named Hawk looked to be around fifty, strongly built with no signs of aging, dressed in a military uniform, exuding a shrewd, capable, and formidable aura.
Every country has its own Special Forces. G.I. Joe is a joint Special Forces unit established based on NATO. Hawk was its commander.
"I've already told you about the special nature of this mission. Are these the members you've selected?" the Secretary of Defense said.
Hawk nodded and began to introduce them, first introducing the Redhead girl in a black Special Forcesuniform next to him. "Her name is Scarlett; you can call her Redhead. She is proficient in combat and marksmanship, the top shooter in the Special Forces, graduated college at 12, earned a martial arts black belt and joined the Special Forces at 15, and has had no failures to date. She is extremely skilled in intelligence work."
After speaking, Hawk introduced another man. This man was wearing a black bodysuit, with a helmet and mask covering everything, and two Katanas strapped to his back. "His name is Snake Eyes. He is the most lethal legendary figure and the strongest in the Special Forces. He cannot speak due to certain special reasons."
"This is... Courtney Krieger, you can also call her Cover Girl. Before joining the Special Forces, she was a model, an expert in diesel engine dynamics and gas turbines. She is beautiful and intelligent, and can provide a lot of help with Mecha mechanics!"
Two women and one man.
The Secretary of Defense nodded in satisfaction, looked at Redhead and Cover Girl, and said, "Have you been told about the special nature of the mission? Because the other party might possess very important intelligence, so it might..."
"Yes," Redhead and Cover Girl said in unison. "If the situation requires it, we have no problem!"
"Then I'll leave it to you."
...
The warm sunlight shone on a beautifully curved body: long legs, full hips, a slender waist, and ample breasts. It was a perfect figure that would make any man stand at attention immediately upon seeing it. Mikaylabrushed back her somewhat disheveled hair, opened her eyes, and slowly got up. There was no one beside her; her body and memory still held the remnants of last night's madness. Her throat was dry and hoarse; it was the first time she realized her vocal range could be so high.
Clanging sounds came from outside. Mikayla paused, found her shorts and put them on, then grabbed a white shirt, put it on, and pushed the door open.
Outside the door was the auto repair shop's workshop.
However, the car that was originally there was gone, replaced by a silver-white lady's mech. Su Sheng, shirtless, seemed to be tinkering with something on the mech. Hearing the sound, he turned his head, his eyes showing a look of experience.
Straight, long legs, a white men's shirt.
A woman dressed in this 'bottomless' style could be said to be quite stunning.
Mikayla didn't pay much attention to Su Sheng's gaze, but rather looked at the mech in surprise. She remembered Su Sheng had indeed said he would provide a mech for the experiment, and she thought it would be transported from somewhere else. But now, it looked as if... he built it himself. She remembered he went to bed around 3 AM, right? It was only 10 AM now. Did he stay up all night to finish such a complex mech?
No tools, no helpers?
"How is it?" Su Sheng walked over, put his arm around her, kissed her cheek, and asked with a smile.
"You, you made it?"
"This is our secret, don't tell anyone. Later, people from the military will come to test the mech's performance. If there are no issues, the deal will be made. You look... so beautiful." Su Sheng's hand mischievously caressed her slender waist.
Although she and Lai Li looked very similar, almost like doppelgangers, their temperaments were quite different.
Mikayla was very independent, and her personality was much wilder than Lai Li's.
"Later, I'll tell them to drop your criminal record and release your father," Su Sheng whispered in her ear.
"Really?" Mikayla turned excitedly to look at Su Sheng. Su Sheng smiled and nodded, and Mikayla immediately hugged Su Sheng and kissed him.
"Cough, cough, cough..."
Just as the two were kissing, a cough suddenly sounded.
Su Sheng and Mikayla separated, only to see a woman in a black, tight-fitting combat suit standing at the door, looking somewhat surprised at the white mech.
"I'm going to change," Mikayla said, turning and leaving. Su Sheng walked straight towards the woman.
...
PS: Special Forces and Transformers both belong to the Hasbro series. In the comics, the two seem to have crossovers, so I just decided to write them together. Special Forces has had two movies, one G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and one G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The picture shows the Special Forces Redhead, whose actress starred in the American drama 'Continuum'.
Chapter 394: Redhead, Snake Eyes, Cover Girl, and the Attack
"Scarlett, responsible for protecting you and the mech's safety." Seeing Su Sheng approach, Redhead nodded and introduced herself. "There are two more outside. If it's convenient, I'd like to let them in."
Su Sheng nodded noncommittally.
In the morning, Su Yueming had contacted him, saying that the Department of Defense had agreed but needed to send people to inspect the mech's performance. Su Sheng was too lazy to run around, so he simply had them come directly here. Su Yueming also said that they might send people to protect him, but he didn't expect it to be a woman. Redhead turned and left, calling out, and soon two people walked over.
One man and one woman.
The woman wore a camouflage military uniform, and the man was completely covered in a black uniform.
"Huh?" Su Sheng stared at the completely covered man, slightly surprised. The two women were fine; what was attractive about them was merely their good figures and good looks. But overall, as soldiers, they were certainly not as well-maintained as ordinary women. There were so many beautiful faces, especially after just getting Mikayla, Su Sheng really didn't have any special reaction to seeing the two of them.
But this completely covered man was different.
This guy's appearance looked a bit familiar, as if he had seen it in a certain movie.
Su Sheng's gaze swept back and forth between the man and the two women. This action surprised the three of them a little, but they didn't speak.
"So that's how it is!"
After a while, Su Sheng smiled; he remembered.
This completely covered man should be Snake Eyesfrom the movie Special Forces, and these two women, the red-haired one earlier should be Redhead, and the very tall one in the camouflage military uniform should be Cover Girl. Su Sheng thought they would be Seventh District agents; he didn't expect them to be Special Forces. This was quite interesting.
"This is Snake Eyes; he is mainly responsible for your safety."
"This is Courtney."
The Redhead introduced her two comrades and then said, "The testing ground is ready; we can depart with the mech at any time."
Su Sheng nodded and asked, "By plane?"
Redhead nodded.
"Then..." Su Sheng pointed to Cover Girl. "You'll operate the mech?"
Cover Girl was startled, not expecting Su Sheng to choose her to operate the mech. Although she had never operated or even touched one, she wouldn't miss this opportunity, as it was one of her mission objectives this time.
"What should I do?" Cover Girl asked.
Su Sheng casually activated the mech and let Cover Girlenter. This size of mech was actually a large-sized battlesuit, just without AI assistance and instead using Neural Connection. Simply put, this mech was more like a set of exoskeleton armor. As Cover Girl put on the armor, Mikayla had already changed her clothes and came out.
"Let's go," Su Sheng said, and everyone went out.
Cover Girl was a bit clumsy at first, but the operating method was indeed simple. After Neural Connection, it was almost like playing a virtual game. Not long after coming out, they boarded the prepared transport plane. The mech was secured in place, and Cover Girl did not come out of the mech. Su Sheng didn't mind; he even leaned next to Mikayla and introduced some of the mech's functions to Cover Girl.
Across from them.
Redhead had been curiously watching Su Sheng and Mikayla. Before the operation, she had already known Mikayla's information, and she felt that it was similar to Su Yueming's; if it weren't for Su Sheng, Special Forcesmight never have investigated their information in this lifetime. But Su Sheng's information was very mysterious; there was absolutely nothing, not even with the help of powerful satellites and technology. It was as if he had never existed in this world before and had suddenly appeared.
Her gaze subtly shifted to the mech. And this mech, after research by Department of Defense weapons experts, found that this technology was at least ten years ahead, and the core Neural Connection was even more so. Although they hadn't seen the physical object, according to the description in the design drawings, this was definitely a technology they wouldn't be able to break through for decades. How could such advanced technology have had no rumors, no traces, before?
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep...
An alarm suddenly sounded on the plane. Redhead's expression changed in alarm, and she quickly got up and ran to the cockpit.
"What's going on?"
"The instruments are malfunctioning, suspected electronic interference. We must make an emergency landing," the pilot said urgently, and the plane began to violently bump and descend. Redhead turned back, glanced at Snake Eyes, and then sat down on Su Sheng's other side. "Mr. Su Sheng, no need to worry!"
Su Sheng nodded and held Mikayla's hand. He wasn't scared, but Mikayla clearly was.
Suddenly.
The originally turbulent plane slowly stabilized. Redhead thought the instruments had returned to normal, but then she saw the pilot run out.
"How are you..."
"The plane has been secured from above; we're being towed. There are enemies; prepare yourselves," the pilot said in a deep voice.
Redhead's face sank.
This was definitely a premeditated action; news about Su Sheng and the mech had leaked!
Taking a deep breath, Redhead said, "You try to see if you can restore the equipment. Snake Eyes, Cover Girl, prepare for combat after landing."
After giving instructions, a crossbow appeared on Redhead's wrist, and she looked at Su Sheng, assuring him, "Don't worry, no matter what happens, I will protect your safety."
"You, protect me?" Su Sheng smiled and said no more.
This distrustful attitude made Redhead slightly annoyed. She had never failed since her debut, but... never mind, saying these things now was useless.
We're landing, it looks like a desert outside."
Soon after, the pilot's voice sounded, and the plane slowly descended before landing with a thud.
The violent landing caused the plane to glide forward for a while before finally coming to a stop.
Snake Eyes had already drawn his Katana, and Cover Girl unfastened her mech suit, ready for battle.
Redhead stood sideways in front of Su Sheng, adopting a protective stance, while her crossbow was aimed at the cabin door.
A beeping sound suddenly rang out, and the next moment, with a bang, the cabin door exploded directly. Several enemies in heavily covered uniforms rushed in. Snake Eyes immediately swung his Katana forward, and Redhead had already activated her ability. It turned out to be high-tech equipment, electronic crossbow arrows that could lock on and explode.
…
PS: The picture is Cover Girl.
Chapter 395: Cobra Organization: Baroness
The electronic crossbow arrow accurately hit the enemy's eye and then exploded. Snake Eyes's dual Katanas danced so fast that the enemies couldn't even see their trajectory. With a few swift slashes, several enemies fell to the ground. Then, Cover Girl, piloting the mech suit, suddenly charged towards the cabin door.
Da da da, da da da!
Bullets furiously came, but they were blocked by the mech suit. Enduring the bullets, Cover Girl controlled the mech suit and charged straight out. Moments later, muffled sounds came from outside. Snake Eyesfollowed closely, rushing out. Redhead turned to remind Su Sheng and Mikayla to stay here and not worry, when she heard a gunshot from the direction of the cockpit. Redhead was startled and rushed over in a panic.
Before Redhead even saw anyone, she grunted and was kicked back several steps. Immediately after, a woman in a black catsuit with white protective goggles emerged from the cockpit, raising her gun and aiming it at Su Sheng and Mikayla. Redhead raised her hand and shot an arrow, knocking the gun out of the opponent's hand, then charged forward. The opponent frowned coldly, turned, and swept her leg, kicking Redhead's wrist. The crossbow flew out of her hand, and the two instantly became entangled.
Fists and feet flew, every move landing with impact.
"If Redhead is a member of Special Forces, then someone who can fight Redhead for so long, manipulate a plane like this, and launch an attack… the opponent should be Cobra, right? Cobra is a terrorist organization, a major enemy of Special Forces. Several famous core characters, such as Destro, the biggest arms dealer, who developed the Nanomite missile for NATO in the movie—a powerful weapon that almost destroyed the Eiffel Tower—and his subordinates Baroness, White Ghost, and Doctor Mindbender are all first-rate ruthless characters. So… the one fighting Redhead should be Baroness, right?
So Cobra knows about the mech suit?
"Bang!"
As Su Sheng was thinking, he heard a loud bang. He looked over and saw Redhead being slammed heavily against the cabin wall by Baroness. The impact was quite severe, leaving Redhead on the ground, unable to get up immediately. Baroness turned, picked up the gun from the ground, and looked at Su Sheng and Mikayla.
"You two, come with me."
"So you really came for me." Su Sheng smiled and stood up. Baroness swiftly moved to his side, pressing the gun barrel directly against his temple.
"Go!"
"Alright, alright." Su Sheng responded and walked out of the cabin.
Outside the cabin, Snake Eyes was gone. Cover Girl, controlling the mech suit, seemed to have dealt with most of the enemies. Seeing Su Sheng being led out by Baroness with a gun pointed at him, Cover Girl was instantly stunned.
"This is the mech suit you researched? It's beautiful, but unfortunately… I can't take it with me this time." Baroness glanced at it, then looked at Redhead, who was staggering to her feet, and Mikayla, who was following, and chuckled. "I advise you not to have any ideas. I can't guarantee my gun won't misfire."
"Who are you?!" Redhead asked in a deep voice.
Baroness sneered, "You don't even know your enemy's identity, Special Forces? Nothing special!"
Redhead took a deep breath and looked at Su Sheng, assuring him, "Don't worry, I'll save you."
"Forget it." Su Sheng suddenly chuckled and shook his head, then moved abruptly. His left foot slightly widened his stance, and his right hand suddenly grabbed Baroness's wrist. Baroness was slightly startled and was about to react, but Su Sheng had already turned directly, coming behind her and embracing her from behind. At the same time, the gun that was originally aimed at Su Sheng's forehead was now pressed against Baroness's forehead.
"Almost being held hostage at our first meeting, I really don't have much confidence in your Special Forces' so-called protection," Su Sheng said to the dumbfounded Redhead, a smirk playing on his lips.
Redhead's eyes widened in surprise.
So smooth, so fast, disarming her empty-handed! In the blink of an eye, the tables had turned.
"Bang!"
A gunshot suddenly rang out. Baroness grunted, and her body suddenly slumped.
"I advise you not to have any ideas. I can't guarantee my gun won't misfire." Su Sheng chuckled as he saw blood seeping from Baroness's leg.
Baroness's face was incredibly grim.
Not just because she had just said that exact sentence to Redhead, but also because of Su Sheng's decisiveness. She had only just thought of trying to break free, never expecting Su Sheng to be so decisive and just shoot. After joining Cobra, she had carried out many missions, and this was her first time being injured by a gunshot.
A warm embrace, yet no hint of romance.
Su Sheng looked around. A very advanced-looking plane was parked nearby. Was that the one that had been towing their plane earlier?
"Cover Girl, see where Snake Eyes went. Redhead, check on the pilot. If he's dead, replace him and get ready to fly the plane out. I don't want to waste time in this desert." As Su Sheng finished speaking, he suddenly released Baroness and stepped back half a step. Baroness was about to run away but involuntarily grunted and fainted under Su Sheng's hand chop.
Picking up the unconscious Baroness, Su Sheng turned and walked back to the plane, throwing her onto the floor. Su Sheng said to Mikayla, "Scared you, didn't I?"
Mikayla didn't speak, she just threw herself into Su Sheng's arms.
Redhead and Cover Girl looked at each other, then finally followed Su Sheng's instructions. Redhead went to the cockpit; the pilot had already died. She moved the pilot aside and sat down, finding that the equipment had returned to normal. Soon after, Snake Eyes and Cover Girl also returned. It seemed they had dealt with the enemies but probably had no gains.
"Let's go." Su Sheng called out, and the plane slowly took off.
The attack and hijacking ended just like that. Inside the plane, Snake Eyes and Cover Girl looked at the unconscious Baroness on the floor and Su Shengcomforting Mikayla, their expressions varied. If it weren't for Su Sheng, their mission this time would surely have failed. As for Redhead, her emotions were probably the most complex.
She had confidently vowed to protect Su Sheng but failed. She, who had never failed, had lost today. This feeling was a mix of anger, unwillingness, and unspeakable shame. Especially the shame; every time she thought of Su Sheng's clean and decisive actions, and her own confident promise, she felt a burning sensation on her face.
Chapter 396: Persuading Baroness to Surrender?
Half an hour later, the plane slowly landed at a secret military base.
As soon as it landed, several people came to greet them.
"Boss, are you all right?"
Looking at the empty cabin door, Su Yueming, dressed in a black suit, rushed over and asked anxiously.
"I'm fine." Su Sheng smiled, shook his head, and observed Su Yueming. After some time apart, Su Yueming had changed quite a bit. Her attire was much more capable than before, and her makeup made her appear more mature and elegant.
Looking at the blown-off cabin door, then at the unconscious Baroness lying on the ground with a gunshot wound, Su Yueming knew they must have been attacked.
However, since the boss was fine and didn't want to say much, Su Yueming thought about it and didn't ask further. There was also someone with Su Yueming; judging by her attire, she seemed to be a Seventh District agent? She was probably in charge of this mech suit experiment, right? Everyone disembarked the plane one after another. Baroness was also taken away for treatment and interrogation. No need to bother two masters with one task; since Cover Girl had been piloting the mech suit for so long, she might as well be in charge of the experiment.
In the base's reception room, one could see the mech suit currently undergoing testing outside. The mech suit's testing was relatively simple, basically covering a few major categories: attack, defense, and maneuverability, targeting the main characteristics of Transformers. After a series of tests, the mech suit naturally had no problems, with excellent results in all aspects.
"Is the mech suit fine now?" Su Sheng leisurely spoke after Cover Girl returned and reported the situation. "A few things. If there are no problems, we can cooperate."
"Go ahead," the Seventh District agent said.
"One, payment upfront, full payment received, and the mech suit will be delivered. You are responsible for receiving it. Two, all information and experiments related to the AllSpark and Transformers being researched in the Seventh District must be disclosed to me. Three, we were attacked on the way here, which indicates a problem within your organization. Of course, this is none of my business, but since it scared my companion, you must compensate. Four, that woman belongs to me!"
"We can agree to the first three points, but…"
"No 'buts,' understand?" Su Sheng narrowed his eyes, looking at the Seventh District agent.
The Seventh District agent hesitated for a moment, then finally nodded in agreement.
Alright, you two can discuss the rest," Su Sheng said, patting Mikayla's shoulder and glancing at Su Yueming, then standing up. "Take me to see that woman."
Redhead and Cover Girl instinctively moved to stand up, but after exchanging glances, Redhead slowly sat back down.
"Come with me," Cover Girl said.
Medical room, special ward.
Su Sheng and Cover Girl pushed the door open and entered. The Baroness's weapons and various equipment in the ward had already been taken away, and the wound on her leg had been treated. She… was awake.
"You go out first. Don't let anyone in before I come out," Su Sheng turned and said to Cover Girl.
Cover Girl hesitated for a moment, then nodded and closed the door as she left.
The Baroness's gaze towards Su Sheng was full of resentment, but she didn't speak. Su Sheng also didn't speak; he just walked straight to her side and sat down.
"Anna Lewis, right?" Su Sheng said with a smile.
The Baroness's expression changed. He actually knew her real name?
"The Cobra Organization's adjutant, skilled in intelligence gathering, and your combat skills were learned from White Ghost, did I get that right?" Su Sheng paused, and seeing that she still didn't speak, he continued, "You once had a boyfriend named Duke, a soldier. Although you saw little of each other, your relationship was very good. He even proposed to you, and you accepted. It's just a pity that time was urgent, and he took your brother to execute a mission. As a result… your only family member, your brother, didn't return. You broke up like that, and then you joined the Cobra Organization."
"How… how do you know all this?" The Baroness finally couldn't help but speak.
"I also know that to have a suitable cover identity, you married a baron. However, this baron is just a puppet. Although he's your husband, he's kept in the dark and doesn't even have a chance to touch you. I also know that your behind-the-scenes BOSS seems to like you? And he's very jealous, having ordered White Ghost to kill the baron if he dared to touch you."
The Baroness was too astonished to speak, because these were the most private of privacies, information that only the parties involved would know. How… how did he know all this?
"Divorce," Su Sheng suddenly said.
"What?" The Baroness was stunned.
"Divorce the baron? Then become my person! I want to establish a security team; how about you take charge?" Su Sheng said with a smile.
The Baroness was stunned, then sneered, "You seem to overestimate your charm. Do you think I'll join you just like that? Aren't you afraid I'll take the opportunity to steal your intelligence?"
"No!"
Su Sheng chuckled, "Do you know why I'm not afraid? Because you have two weaknesses."
"Weaknesses? How would I know!"
"Can you still remember why you joined the Cobra Organization now?" Su Sheng asked.
"Of course I…" The Baroness's words suddenly stopped, and a bewildered expression appeared on her face. She actually couldn't remember why she joined the Cobra Organization. Why? Why did she join the Cobra Organization back then?
"Can't remember, can you? Because you never intended to join the Cobra Organization; you were set up," Su Sheng chuckled. "There's a special nanite in your body, and this nanite controls your mental thoughts. Previously, you were just a pretty ordinary girl. Why have you now become the ruthless Baroness? Your so-called actions are all under someone else's control. They just need to press a button, and you wouldn't even know how you died!"
"You say it, and I'm supposed to believe it?" The Baroness snorted.
"I naturally have a way to make you believe me. Let's talk about the second weakness!"
"Your brother, Rex, he's still alive. If you work for me, I can give you a chance to see him."
"Really?"
The Baroness asked, instantly agitated.
Su Sheng nodded. "Really!"
Rex was indeed still alive, and it was Rex who had made her into her current state.
