With that thought, Kouki's expression hardened. He looked directly at Yagura Karatachi, his Mangekyo Sharingan spinning. "Amaterasu!"
Yagura Karatachi instinctively felt an overwhelming sense of impending doom, a visceral premonition of death. In that instant, he instinctively unleashed his Tailed Beast chakra, a fiery red chakra cloak instantly enveloping his entire body.

Almost instantaneously, as Yagura Karatachi was enveloped in the protective cloak, a terrifyingly intense black flame erupted from his Tailed Beast chakra cloak.
"Aaah!"
Yagura Karatachi screamed in agony, collapsing to the ground, his body consumed by the black flames. The attack on Kouki was abruptly interrupted.
"Impossible!"
Obito was utterly dumbfounded. While under attack and in an intangible state, Kouki had launched a counterattack! This completely shattered Obito's understanding of Kamui.
It was common knowledge that one couldn't attack while intangible with Kamui; materialization was required for any offensive action. This applied to physical attacks, but not necessarily to dōjutsu.
After all, Kamui itself is a dōjutsu! If dōjutsu also required materialization, Kamui would be rendered utterly useless; it's a fundamental contradiction.
The question arose: could a person simultaneously utilize two dōjutsu without conflict?
Kouki provided the answer through his actions. His intangibility was a product of his left eye's dōjutsu, while Amaterasu was activated using his right eye, the two abilities operating independently and without interference.

That enigmatic black flame, he had absolutely no understanding of how Kouki activated it, and it posed an immense and unpredictable threat.
Was it a dōjutsu? One eye Kamui, one eye black flames… that seemed illogical. Yet, he hadn't seen Kouki perform any hand seals. The whole situation was utterly bizarre and unsettling.
Obito concluded that conventional techniques would be ineffective. Without further hesitation, he clapped his hands together.

Branches erupted from the ground, resembling venomous snakes as they surged towards Kouki in a relentless assault.
Kouki effortlessly evaded them using the Flying Thunder God Technique, instantly appearing elsewhere, the branches far too slow to intercept him.
"Hmph! Flying Thunder God… truly troublesome!"
Obito snorted, his voice laced with irritation. While he lacked long-range Kamui, his Wood Release was more than capable of neutralizing Kouki's mobility.
He manipulated several branches to gather all the discarded Flying Thunder God kunai, swiftly drawing them into his Kamui dimension.
Kouki's Flying Thunder God was effectively neutralized. Obito didn't believe the Flying Thunder God Technique could teleport to another dimension.

Under Obito's precise control, a vast network of branches erupted from the ground, launching a relentless assault on Kouki, encircling him from all sides.

Kouki could no longer utilize his Flying Thunder God kunai, as the branches completely blocked his escape routes. Furthermore, he couldn't utilize Kamui for spatial displacement, as his body would materialize during the transfer, leaving him vulnerable to attack.
Obito calculated that Kouki's only remaining options were to become intangible using Kamui or unleash that terrifying black flame.
However, Obito was prepared for either scenario. By continuously manipulating his Wood Release to regenerate the branches, he could maintain a relentless barrage of attacks, effectively countering either of Kouki's defensive options.
