With a churning sound, a bizarre creature, half-black and half-white, with pitcher plants sprouting from its head, emerged from beneath the earth. The branches constricting Minato Namikaze were connected to this strange being, clearly indicating that it had used Wood Release to ambush and capture Minato Namikaze.
"Black and White Zetsu!"
While the others remained stunned, Kouki instantly recognized the mysterious figure.
"Hmph, I don't need your help. As if I can't utilize Wood Release myself!" Obito expressed his clear displeasure at Black and White Zetsu's unsolicited assistance.
He then reached out towards Minato Namikaze, and numerous branches spontaneously erupted from his own body, resembling countless tentacles as they wrapped around Minato Namikaze, pulling him towards Obito. Obito, still disguised as White Zetsu, could freely and effortlessly utilize Wood Release.

Shouts of outrage and alarm filled the air around them. Obito, however, remained cold and impassive, his Sharingan eyes spinning.
Minato Namikaze momentarily appeared dazed, then regained his clarity, but his demeanor had subtly shifted.
"Restrain them… but spare their lives. I still have use for them," Obito casually instructed Minato Namikaze.
"Yes!"
Minato Namikaze, acting as if he were Obito's loyal subordinate, responded without the slightest hesitation.

He immediately initiated Body Flicker Technique, charging towards the Konoha ninjas.
Minato Namikaze's exceptional strength was undeniable. With Obito and Black Zetsu providing support, they swiftly subdued everyone present, including Kouki.
Kouki, however, possessed the ability to easily defeat them all combined, but he deliberately refrained from doing so.
While Kouki remained uncertain about Obito's ultimate motives, it was evident that he intended to control Minato Namikaze and the others to achieve a specific objective.
During this process, it was highly probable that Obito would lead Minato Namikaze and the others back to the secret base beneath the Kannabi Bridge.
That would undoubtedly present a new and potentially lucrative sign-in location!
The mere thought of the potential rewards he might obtain filled Kouki with a surge of excitement.

Kouki, having anticipated this, had preemptively set a countermeasure: if he fell under the influence of the Sharingan's genjutsu, he would immediately utilize Kotoamatsukami to instantly dispel the genjutsu.
According to the established lore of the Naruto universe, Kotoamatsukami is widely considered to be the most powerful genjutsu technique in existence; no other genjutsu technique is capable of surpassing it in terms of power and effectiveness.
Even if Obito were to utilize his Mangekyo Sharingan to subject Kouki to his genjutsu, Kouki would be able to effortlessly dispel it using Kotoamatsukami.
This was a certainty.
It is also worth noting that Kouki's Kotoamatsukami technique was obtained as a reward from the system, and therefore differed in several key aspects from Shisui's Kotoamatsukami. Kouki's Kotoamatsukami had a remarkably short cooldown period of only one day! This was the primary reason why Kouki felt no hesitation in utilizing it so freely.

Obito's eyes then locked directly onto Kouki's eyes, his Sharingan spinning, instantly subjecting Kouki to his genjutsu.
However, at that very same instant, Kouki's pre-programmed Kotoamatsukami activated, instantly dispelling Obito's genjutsu, restoring Kouki to his normal state.
Neither Obito nor Black and White Zetsu detected this subtle countermeasure.
In the blink of an eye, everyone present had fallen under Obito's control.
