Chapter 90 - Thursday – Seoul, Couple Interview Shoot

Langley Studio Hall 4, – 10:28 AM

The studio had been bustling since early morning, yet the air inside carried an oddly tender calm.

The lighting was warm and diffused, while the soft autumn sunlight filtered through the tall glass windows, slowly tinting the space.

Today's shoot was part of a special follow-up to the Langley 2025 F/W campaign—a couple's series inspired by Jinwoo and Celeste's real-life relationship.

Officially, it was a collaboration between a brand and an actor.

But the two knew better: this wasn't just fashion.

"Jinwoo, we'll start with a standing frontal cut. Celeste, please wait just a moment."

"Got it."

The camera shutter clicked in rhythm.

Jinwoo wore a charcoal tweed overcoat over a soft black turtleneck, paired with tailored wool trousers.

The top buttons remained undone, his sharp gaze and smooth jawline framed with effortless elegance—each frame felt less like a photo and more like a quiet narrative.

Moments later, Celeste stepped onto the set.

A midnight blue wool trench dress cinched at the waist, her hair pulled back into a neat low twist.

No necklace, no statement earrings—she didn't need them.

The light responded to her presence like muscle to nerve, and the room seemed to stand a little straighter.

"Let's bring you two closer, please. Jinwoo, your hand on her waist. Celeste, tilt your head slightly, just a hint of a smile."

Click.

Click.

Click...

They were no longer just a couple.

In front of the lens, even the silent seconds between glances felt like art.

"This next cut is for the sofa concept. Celeste, if you could lean gently toward Jinwoo's lap—yes, just like that."

As Celeste moved toward Jinwoo seated on the vintage sofa, a soft, collective intake of breath stirred among the staff.

When she tilted his chin up with a touch of her fingers, his gaze lingered there—still, attentive.

The camera director murmured under his breath,

"…This is… something else."

At the flash of the shutter, Jinwoo's fingertips grazed the curve of her waist.

She didn't react—at least, not outwardly.

But the subtle turn of her smile said she felt it.

That smile rippled all the way past the lens.

"Cut—perfect! Let's reset for the next scene!"

As the shoot paused, Jinwoo leaned in and whispered beside her.

"I'm enjoying this way too much. You think it's showing?"

"It better not be."

"But you're so beautiful… how could it not?"

Celeste stifled a laugh, gently pushing at his chest.

"What are you doing after this?"

"More shooting—with you."

"I meant after that."

"…Staying by your side."

She looked up at him then, eyes catching the light—and Jinwoo, without missing a beat, leaned in and pressed a kiss to her lips.

Just briefly. Just enough.

Click.

The photographer, startled, had instinctively hit the shutter.

A quiet crack of the camera sliced through the stillness.

A moment later, while reviewing the monitor, he exhaled sharply.

"…We're using this as the main cut."

His voice was low, certain—like no further confirmation was needed.

Around them, quiet murmurs rippled among the staff.

"Whoa… this one's the real deal."

"That shot… it's already complete."

Celeste and Jinwoo exchanged a glance.

No words, but something passed between them more vividly than any direction.

In that single look, something permanent was captured—a truth that no one could act.

Not performance.

Not illusion.

But unmistakable love.
