Chapter 6 - CHAPTER SIX

What do you do with dirty clothes, she retorted. And don't think about using the washing machine she adds while the little minions snickered.

Urghhh.... I groaned, stumping my feet. I have never done this type of labour work before in my life.

I washed and washed till my hands became swollen. Lily came again dumping another pile of dirty bedspread to it again.

I'm not washing that , I haven't even washed half of what you gave me and you're adding another one, I retorted angrily.

She slapped me hard ! My head rang and immediately I gave her two slaps a deep cut on her lip from the force.

She shrieked, yelling how dare you, I only smiled lightly once a bitch always a bitch. Her little minions " zami and Sami" went to the line and dropped her clothes on the ground, as if that wasn't enough they stumped their feet on the clothes.

I felt so frustrated I didn't even know when I walked up to them dragging them by their hair pulling it hard.

Mr Damien heard the noise and rushed out. Seeing the fight he tried separating us and demanded an answer immediately...he was furious.

The three puff girls lied against me and he didn't even try to hear my own story before he ordered them to bring the "ninety-nine".

The other maids gasped their expression holding the one of fear.

Now I couldn't help but wonder what the "ninety-nine".

They brought a long wooden cane with a diagram on it. Raise your skirt up Mr Damien ordered me to his face devoid of any emotion.

I lost count of how many times I was flogged when I reached ten. Go wash the remaining clothes, do not come in if you're not done and no food for you today. With the side of my eyes I could see Ginny mouthing sorry to me. I nodded to let her know I was okay. The day was rough. I cried throughout while washing the clothes, my legs that haven't healed from standing for almost twelve hours and it was beaten till it got swollen and burst open blood dripping from it.

I had to bandage it to prevent the blood from spilling everywhere. I washed till midnight my hands were swollen and red, pains in my leg likewise my whole body and I haven't even gotten food to eat. I cried throughout the whole night.

The ray of the morning sun penetrated through the small window lightning the seemingly dark room pulling me out of my sleep. It was already 8 am and nobody has woken me up yet. I hurried out of the room and everywhere seemed peaceful at first, not until night time came and Lily told Mr Damien that she saw me sneaking into Jordan's room.

I went into his room to clean Lily, shaking my head.

"Ohh yeah but I also saw you holding a bracelet" Lily uttered just in time for Jordan and Sebastian walking into the room.

"What are you saying?" I furrowed my brows, confusion laced in my voice.

"What is going on here? Damien"

Jordan's calm and powerful voice cut through the noise.

"I guess it has to do with your sweet little thing right here," Sebastian blurted out.

Now I am panicking.

Damien retracted everything that Lily told him.

"I don't know what they're talking about. I retorted, I went into your room to clean that's all. It must be a mistake."

"Then.... tell me why I saw you holding a green bracelet going into your room?"

"That bracelet is from Ginny, she asked me to keep it for her."

"Where's Ginny?" then... Jordan asked.

Ginny rushed forward tears rolling down her face, master...Master I met Trisha coming out of your room and I didn't even know she was with anything we just exchanged greetings and left. Master, believe me, I don't know what she's talking about.

Johnson Jordan called to get me the CCTV footage. The footage displayed on the screen showed how I entered his room and came out and met Giny on the way to my room showing the bracelet hanging loose in my hand.

It's been altered, I shouted but no one was paying any heed to me.

Il Jordan face darkened drastically, his fist clenching tightly all his were protruding outside.

Check every nook and corner of her room he ordered Johnson.

I turned to Giny, my eyes glistening with tears from such betrayal, I wasn't even expecting it from her. She couldn't even look at me. She kept her head bent throughout the whole ordeal, refusing to make eye contact.

Some minutes later Johnson came back with the green jade bracelet. The eccentric display of how old this bracelet actually is.

Ohh so you're not only feisty but a....thief. Sebastian muttered but I couldn't care less about him rather he whose face is terrifying right now. His once stoic face is filled with anger.

My heartbeat drummed on my ribcage, dread filled my mind.

Johnson takes her to the dungeon "cell B". Sebastian let's go, he adds walking up the stairs towards his study.

Johnson grabs my hand, shoving me outside the building, rough handling me . The dungeon was located at the very back of the building in between the forest. Thorns of grass prickled my legs. Once the door opened the stench of blood hit me, my stomach churned.
