The beeping sound of the hospital's monitor was the first thing I heard after I woke up. The sunrays blinded me for some seconds before I could perceive my surroundings. I was laying on a huge bed; some hospital machines were connected to my body. The room was luxurious.
Very, very luxurious.
"You are awake," said Mr. White. I don't where he came from but he suddenly appeared in front of my eyes.
I removed the oxygen mask and asked, "W-where... am I?" My throat was as dry as a sand grain in Sahara Desert. Perhaps my throat was a bit drier. My voice was raspy, yet Mr. White could still understand.
Mr. White chuckled, "You are at Mr. Demian's house. He is the one who's using his personal medical team to treat your injuries. You were unconscious for almost a week now."
"Is... t-that so?"
Mr. White nodded. He dragged a stool and sat beside me. "What had happened? And don't lie."
