My face was heating up with every second passing. Everyone was whispering and snickering at me, while Serene was giving me a blank look. The same annoying look which I have been subjected to for almost twenty minutes.
Scratching my head, no-so-roughly, I gave her the sweetest smile I could muster and apologized, "I am sorry for that. But could you imagine someone sitting with the person who pushed them to the ground and didn't even apologize?"
"Hey, drop it! It's already embarrassing enough for the both of us," hissed Jacob.
"First stop scratching your head! You are looking like a monkey who hasn't eaten anything for years! Also not bathed for years!" I hissed back.
Jacob pouted and looked away.
Why did we even leave the apartment?! We could have had breakfast at home itself!
Serene said, "Is that so? I don't remember anything like that. Your face looks... quite plain," her eyes flashed slightly, "I remember now... I had a servant who looked exactly like you."
