"Just watching was quite boring, we have quite a few things to settle after all," Vritra spoke.
"Huff huff You are going to regret this..." Blunder's voice was a mix of anger and fear as he used his escape technique to make a run for his life.
His body broke into countless tiny drops of blood and spread in all directions. Getting out of the realm, he ran and ran without even caring where he was heading.
He ran for hours and days without stopping and ran until his body refused to move. Finally, while panting heavily, he stopped.
He really thought that he was going to die this time, although a new trauma seemed to have added to his already existing one but at least he got a third chance at life.
Internally he mocked Vritra for falling for such a trick, while still shivering by the degree of pain he had endured, Beast was definitely the most enthusiastic among all.

Without giving Blunder any time, Vritra's hands moved at full speed delivering hundreds of deadly punches each second.
Blunder could no longer tell what was happening, as pain kept shooting from each and every part of his body. His skin, bones, flesh, everything was torn by the barrage of infinite punches.
Both his eye balls flew off, teeth becoming powder, his body was thoroughly destroyed.
Even Yasmine came out to deliver a few attacks, letting out all the frustration she had felt in the abandoned realm, seeing Vritra hurt.
"S- Spare me, ahhhhh p- please I beg ughh of you, cough I am sorrryyyyy-"
In the next moment, his right hand shot forward as he plunged through the wriggling flesh of the broken man. He gripped the newly healed spine and pulled it out of his body along with the skull.
While crushing his brain and destroying his body, Vritra muttered: "Knight, devour his soul."

Once again the same process took place but this time it was Faceless who was tortured while Vritra enjoyed the whole process, giving his comments on the scope of improvement.
'Hmm Wifey, how about I let mom, Fiona and Diana kill these three, their level will increase by leaps and bounds, and in the future they won't be so helpless.
Even if I kill all three I would at most gain one more level.' Vritra asked, while watching Beast and Slave torture Faceless mercilessly.
The worst part was that the man was torturing himself with a sadistic grin while also crying at the same time.

But before any of that, he decided to go meet with Vanessa, Fiona, and Diana, although the empress had gone to save them.

In less than two seconds, the group of demons lost control of their bodies.
"Pause." Vritra muttered, and the creatures paused, then Vritra instructed them to turn and stand there like live targets.
As Vanessa killed the three, the parasites just disappeared; as expected, it was yet another great skill.
And he could even send his body to autopilot now, making it work at several times the efficiency while using the opponents' life force; all in all, it was again a fabulous upgrade.
"For now, I am done with upgrading all the skills; originally I planned to upgrade the bloodlines and physiques but after merging, the price shot so high up." Vritra looked at the status panel and sighed.
But there was no problem, after all, the White Kingdom was an endless factory for the production of Sin Points; he can just gather more easily by his new identity.

Vritra waited; thankfully, the process wasn't going to take more than around a dozen or so minutes. While the numbers were slowly climbing up, he looked around and observed the area.
His soul wraiths were spread across the entire place, where a demon or human from Bone Blood Cult or Slave Beast Gang was killed, they would pop out of nowhere and devour the soul.
The soul wraiths would even steal the kills from people other than the three women.
A big fight had broken out across the entire kingdom once again, and this time, the demons and those humans were in deep trouble.
Chopper, the king of the White Kingdom, was also back; he was one of the strongest powerhouses being at the 5th Legion rank, and under his command, they began to swipe away all the enemies.
Fiona, Vanessa, and Diana's level was rising quickly; they would kill anything in their way, and what they couldn't kill was weakened greatly by the soul wraiths and then they killed it.

There were seven slots, and each seemed to contain a different colour, though in extremely small quantity, and a couple of them even looked empty.
"Interesting..." Yasmine muttered, sensing several types of energies from the palette, and just below the big palette, there were several lines written in the panel.
After observing the strange but wonderful interface, they began to read.

"And here she goes..." Vritra mumbled, her hatred for demons was truly unprecedented. Ignoring her, he spoke: "I will explain everything that happened later; first, let's go meet the king."
The Empress seemed to have forgotten everything as she chased after the demon lord with intense killing intent, only the thought of slaughtering the demon lord remaining in her mind.
Vritra could understand that she must hate demons because of some bad past experience, but he didn't like that level of obsessiveness; it could be harmful for her and the people around her.
So he decided to just ignore her for now and later.
He had started to like her, but if she doesn't change, then it would just be impossible for them to ever be together in the future.
He felt relieved that none of the three were hurt in the demon war. While flying towards the castle, they shared how it all began.

"I will just turn her entire family into mindless creatures." She added after thinking.
Finally, the three women felt satisfied with their growth; they were already at the peak of 1st Legion rank and only needed the Legion stones to reach the 3rd Legion rank.
"Don't worry, I will be careful, but I don't think it will be possible to remove that hatred from her heart. Anyway, have you been comprehending your fields?" Vritra asked, gazing into the distance.
"Yeah, comprehending my Holy field is rather easy for me; I guess perks of being a goddess." Diana said proudly. If she had really tried to grow, then her strength would be a lot higher by now.
"I am working on it as well, though it's a little difficult, but because of the inheritance I received, comprehending my Field wouldn't be too hard." Fiona answered.
"Well, my progress is slow and I am trying to understand it better, but I feel like my comprehension is still lacking." Vanessa added with a sigh; she also didn't like the feeling of getting left behind.
"Mm hmm, I understand, Mom; it seems we need to train more so you can comprehend it more deeply." Vritra suggested with a smile, but he knew they needed to know more about succubus so that her progression could be faster.

"Duffus, get some rest as well. Your family must be missing you. I will call for you when I need your help with something," Chopper said as he sat on the chair.
"..." Duffus gratefully bowed and hurriedly left the room, worried about his family's well-being, though he had already heard that they are fine.
"The nobles sure aren't going to be happy about removing the slave system. I am sure it must be because of them that the Slave Beast Gang was able to grow to this extent, since they supported slavery and indirectly the gang itself."
Vritra said, picking up a glass of juice and a straw from the table, then taking a small sip.
"Yeah, they sure will be troublesome. But now if they still try anything, I will just attack them directly. After all, the Slave Beast Gang was connected with demons, and anyone supporting them would be considered so as well," Chopper said.
Looking around, he asked, "But where is your wife Yenni?"
"She has gone away because of some work," Vritra answered. In front of the king, he was in his original body, though he normally stayed as Ben.
"Ben, it is impossible to express with words how grateful I am to you. It is only because of you that I was able to get out of that wretched place and that this kingdom was able to survive.
Tell me, if there is anything I can do for you, then I will do my best," Chopper said, determination etched on his face.
"Oh, I didn't really need anything. We are friends and I just did the obvious," Vritra said, surprising Diana and Yasmine.
The two women wondered when he became such a good person.
"Come on, I insist. I would feel bad if I can't do anything for you, but if—" Chopper was speaking when Vritra interrupted him.
"Well, if you are forcing me so much, then can you arrange some Soul Potions for me?" he spoke modestly.
"How many?" Chopper asked.
"As many as you can. And while you are at it, can you give me three empty 2nd Legion stones?" Vritra asked, decreasing his modesty ever so slightly.
"Okay, that's no problem. This is nothing in front of what you did for me and the kingdom. So—" Chopper was once again interrupted.
"Sigh, yeah, so this much isn't enough to make you feel better? Then add three empty 3rd Legion ranked stones as well," Vritra added, still trying to be modest.
"Oh well, I can arrange that as well. If that's all then—" Chopper was interrupted yet again.
"Haa, I understand. Being the king of such a big kingdom, these things must be nothing for you. Then why don't you add three empty 4th ranked legion stones and three 5th ranked as well? Well, I won't shy away since you insist so much.
I would be happier if you could add a few hundred high-level weapons, potions, and other stuff," Vritra spoke, throwing modesty in the gutter.
Chopper: "..."
"Uhm... I can arrange three empty 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Legion rank stones, though 4th ranked ones will be difficult.
But I can't get the 5th Legion ranked ones. As for those potions and weapons, I will do my best," Chopper chuckled, shaking his head.

There was a knock on the door and several of the ministers had come to speak to him, though Chopper told them to wait a little longer.

They chatted for a while longer, then Chopper had to leave to deal with several things, but he ordered the servants to prepare all the things Vritra had asked for and more.
While the materials were being prepared, the group of four returned to their room. Vritra lay back on the bed, feeling relaxed.
Though the peace this time was going to be very short-lived.
A problem thousands of times bigger than anything before was already present in the not-too-far-ahead future of the luckiest man alive.
Fiona sat on a chair.
In her fight earlier, she seemed to have grasped something about her Field which resonated with the memories of the first Phoenix Queen, so she closed her eyes and concentrated.
On Vritra's right, Vanessa lay and observed every slightest movement on his face, watching his steady breathing.
'Sigh, why is my son so handsome? I am starving...' Vanessa thought and leaned forward, pressing her soft moist lips against his, waking Vritra up.
The goddess on the left was surprised at this open display of affection but she was craving him so badly as well.
Feeling his mother's warm lips, Vritra rolled slightly and was now on top of Vanessa. He cupped her face before taking her lips in his, nibbling and sucking on them.

What was even more interesting was that his stats were no longer just giant numbers. Instead, letters had appeared next to them. He wasn't too surprised since he had heard about this before.
Apparently, when stats reached seven digits, an "M" was added for each extra zero. Two "MM" meant his stats were now eight digits.
He let out a nostalgic sigh. Just a few months ago, his stats had barely reached triple digits, and now? They were eight digits—numbers terrifyingly high for his rank.
These stats were at least on the level of a Half-Step S Rank, almost comparable to a False S Rank. Of course, the main reason his stats had risen this much was because of absorbing ten percent of the stats from so many Corruption Worshipers.
With their help, his power had skyrocketed to insane levels. Even though he had died once and lost one of his Fallen, it was still worth it in his eyes.
Then he closed his own panel and opened the panels of the Corruption Worshipers he had devoured. Seven different panels appeared in front of him. He gave them all a quick look before deciding to start from the right.
He checked the stats and skills of the first one. The stats weren't anything special, and most of the skills looked average to him.
Only one skill barely caught his attention.
[ Dome of Destruction (S): Creates a large dome that completely nullifies all magic skills for three minutes. However, if the attacker's power is too high, the dome will shatter. ]
Daniel didn't think much about it and clicked copy. He didn't have many defensive skills, so copying one could help a lot.
Next, he checked the second panel. This one's stats were slightly better, but the skills weren't much different. In fact, some of them were exactly the same as the first one.

Still, this skill caught his attention. His eyes lit up as he read the description. He hadn't expected something this useful.
At first glance, since the energy was turned into corruption energy, it seemed useless to him. But that wasn't the case.
He actually had a special method to reach Rank A, and if it worked, this skill could be a huge help in the future.
Especially in large-scale battles, this skill would be incredibly effective. If he suddenly activated it and absorbed the energy of many enemies, they would be practically paralyzed.

He became a bit more hopeful about this one's skills. He checked them, and fortunately, they looked promising.
The range of skills was also between B and S Rank, but unlike the others, this one had many more S Rank skills. Because of that, it took him longer to go through them.
Finally, he found one that was actually useful to him. He clicked on the description.

Daniel didn't waste time and went straight to the skills. This time, he was lucky enough to find something that immediately caught his attention.

No one knew if the legend was real or not, but it showed just how terrifying the power of this element was. Daniel never thought there would even exist a skill that granted complete dominion over an element.
But why didn't Zaimron use this skill during their fight? He couldn't remember Zaimron using any lightning at all.
Through mental communication he connected with his Fallen and asked exactly this question, and the answer he got left him not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
'My lord, at that time I did not see it necessary to use such a powerful skill against an ant. Do not be fooled by the simple description, every time you want to use this skill, unless you have a lightning source, it will drain more than 90 percent of your life force.'

The Spiritual Sea was an extremely important part of an Awakened. It was in fact the foundation of everything, the place where energy gathered and formed, a channel that directly connected the body and the soul, allowing energy to flow through both.
It was also thanks to the Spiritual Sea acting as a channel that an Awakened could use the power of laws and different energies.
And that was only its basic importance. For Mancers, the Spiritual Sea was also the home of their summons or subordinates.
For Healers, the Spiritual Sea was where all of their power source resided, and so on.
That was why the Spiritual Sea was of such critical importance, and any damage to it could cause endless harm and losses to an Awakened.
The process of upgrading the Spiritual Sea into a Spiritual Ocean also carried both visible and hidden dangers. If even a small mistake happened, the Spiritual Sea could explode, and restoring it afterward was almost impossible.
There were two known ways to upgrade the Spiritual Sea. The first was destruction and simultaneous rebuilding and expanding. The second was using the essence of the world to expand it.
The first method was the one those who wanted to upgrade without the Tower's help had to rely on.
The second method was the one used by those who relied on the Tower. It was much simpler to perform.
After conquering a floor, every Awakened could stay in that floor's world for a short period of time. During that time, they had the chance to try to go from peak Rank B to Rank A.
The moment they tried to expand their Spiritual Sea, the essence of the world entered their body and helped them in the process.
The whole process only took a few minutes, very quick and without much danger. That was the method chosen by almost 99 percent of Awakened.
Unfortunately, the essence of the world was something extremely special that only Demi Gods had access to and could use. That was why outside of the Tower a person couldn't use it to expand their Spiritual Sea.
This was an advantage only possible inside the Tower thanks to the Mother System.
The other method, the first one, was destruction, rebuilding, and expanding the Spiritual Sea at the same time.
Simply put, one had to slowly destroy parts of the Spiritual Sea. When a small part was destroyed, a little bit of the essence of the world would be released. The Awakened then had to add part of their life force into that essence of the world, enough to at least double its amount.
After all, human life force was also born from the essence of the world and was one and the same. When life force was added, it was basically like adding essence of the world into essence of the world.
That way the amount of essence of the world increased, and with that increased amount, they could rebuild and even expand the destroyed part of the Spiritual Sea.
This process had to be repeated until the entire Spiritual Sea was destroyed, rebuilt, and expanded. And it had to be at least tripled in size to truly be considered a Spiritual Ocean.
The reason why pure life force couldn't be used directly and why destroying the Spiritual Sea was necessary was because life force was not completely pure.
For expansion, pure essence of the world was needed. When the essence of the world absorbed human life force, it automatically purified it.
This method was almost impossible, because no one had that much life force. Most people ran out of life force halfway and died.
The reason why some fools still tried this method was because if someone actually succeeded, their power within the same realm would be at least fifty times stronger than someone who used the Tower method.
An ordinary Rank A who reached it on their own could easily defeat and even kill a peak Rank A who had relied on the Tower. The difference in power was enormous, and that was why some people were tempted to attempt the first method.
However, the number of people who had truly succeeded could be counted on one hand, and all of them were among the greatest figures of both worlds.
This even applied to Daniel himself. Even he, before being able to form a Spiritual Ocean, would run out of life force and die.
And even though he could come back to life, each time he would be forced to start the process over from the beginning, and each time the result would still be failure.
