Chapter 341: Crazy Leveling up!!

Vritra rested for two whole days, and during this time no one dared to say anything to them or even complain to Chopper despite the threats of the Bone Blood Cult increasing.

By the third day, Vritra had mostly healed, almost all his injuries had disappeared by now.

He needed to finish up the task as soon as possible and also take care of those cultists.

Vritra left his house early in the morning, at that time those people didn't have the courage to enter the town.

Using the forbidden skill creatively, he was able to fly.

Rushing at full speed, he soon arrived near the temple.

"Sigh I am so tired of sleeping, sob I can't sleep anymore..." Yasmine spoke, sighing loudly.

"Don't worry, I will get us out of here quickly. The demon war must have already started in the White Kingdom." He muttered, making his way into the temple.

"Yeah, but this place sure is great for leveling up. You have already entered the 3rd Legion rank, yet you could still level up so fast.

And normally, increasing a single level takes so long and so much effort." Yasmine said. If this Divine had left so much for his successor, then the challenges that he was going to face in the future were going to be infinitely dangerous.

Vritra paused after arriving in front of the large hall, the number of abominations praying this time was clearly a lot less compared to before.

"Forbid: All Sin Coins glows."

[Forbidden Activated.]

The hearts of all the abominations began to glow at the same time, but they didn't seem bothered by it in the slightest.

Vritra quickly memorized the locations of all their hearts then he spoke:

"Forbid: There could not be any sound inside the temple."

[Forbidden Activated.]

"After we leave, the first thing I am going to do is kill those Bone Blood Cultists." Yasmine said.

Setting the crazy level up aside, it was all because of him that Vritra had suffered so much.

'Yeah don't worry, this time I won't let him escape.' Vritra said as he rolled up his sleeves and casually walked closer to the prostrated abominations, who wouldn't react easily.

[Shift Activated.]

[Agility + Endurance → Strength]

As if pulling out vegetables from the ground, Vritra plunged his right hand into the neck of the first abomination, and then pulled out the head-sized heart of the creature before mumbling:

"Devour."

Feeling the cold liquid spreading across his arm and then getting absorbed into his body, Vritra moved onto the next target.

The injured RipMaw let out a loud scream and spasmed on the ground but no other creature in the temple noticed it.

'Now my strength has reached a level that I can easily kill these abominations, though killing the red ones will still be a challenge.'

While talking with Yasmine, Vritra began to pluck the hearts of all the creatures out one by one and absorbed the Sin Coins.

In just a minute he had killed more than ten abominations. If others were to know that picking levels was this easy, then they would be puking out blood.

"I can still remember the day when I had killed a demon general for the first time, and my father made the rule that anyone who wished to marry me in the future would have to defeat him." Yasmine said, remembering the memories of her father.

"Heh so he wanted you to stay single for a long time huh, how strong was he?" Vritra asked, pulling out one more Sin Cell.

"Except for the gods, there were only a very, very few that could even survive against him in a battle." Yasmine said, though at her peak, her strength wasn't any less than her father's.

"But don't you know where your mother had disappeared off to?" Vritra asked, increasing his speed by several times as his level began to rise rapidly.

But it wasn't long before he had met yet another bottleneck, but this time he just continued to absorb the Sin Coins, he could just deal with the red creatures later.

"No, she just disappeared one day, and despite searching for so many years I wasn't able to find her until I received the news that she was killed by the demons." Yasmine replied, sounding quite sad.

"So, don't you hate all demons as well? Like Yennefer, did even the thought of ever hating me appear in your mind?" Vritra questioned, it was quite normal after all, those demons had taken far too much from her.

"Hubby, don't compare me with anyone. My love for you transcends it all, always staying with you is all that matters to me.

The only reason I want to return to the Dragon Kingdom is so that I could get my body back and we can finally be together.

Heh once she gets to know you are a demon, you will find out that her love isn't even a tenth of mine." Yasmine said confidently.

"Oh." Vritra was surprised that she reacted so strongly, but on second thought, it was a bad decision to even mention one of his women in front of another, especially the Empress.

While chatting, in an hour, Vritra had devoured the hearts of all the abominations. Now only two red abominations remained.

But before that, he approached the statue and moved to the back side where he saw a brighter glow.

'Now what are these drawings?' Vritra stared at the drawings curiously. It was like a story or maybe the process of evolution.

The first image was that of the same insect, after which it seemed to have eaten up the body of some creature that seemed a lot bigger than the insect.

Then the small insect began to change, Vritra found it hard to understand the things ahead of it.

"Hmm if I were you I wouldn't try to understand it just yet, I can definitely say that this drawing contains one of the Six Truths." Yasmine said lazily.

{Sin Point Gained: Got Surprised +1}

"Oh, one of the Six Truths? The truth of Divine?" Vritra asked in surprise.

"Yeah, though it doesn't seem to be complete. Maybe it is separated into different realms of the Divine.

Anyway, look at that hole below the drawing, I can confidently say that the key of leaving this realm has been stolen." Yasmine added, yawning.

"And Bone Blood Cultists must be behind it, right?" Vritra asked, he had found the way to escape.

"Yeah, so first you kill these red RipMaws and then those cultists, we can go out today!!" she said with excitement.

"Alright let's do it, I am sure I can kill those two with my current strength." Vritra said, and he took out a knife from the dimensional book and walked towards one of the abominations.

Without saying a word he plunged the long knife near its left shoulder, bringing the abomination to its senses as it let out a deafening roar.

Vritra gave it no time as he rained down punches and kicks at the knife, while locking the creature in the same position with Forbidden for a minute.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The abomination's body twisted as it tried to move its heart away but Vritra suddenly pulled out the sword and plunged his hand deep into the wound. The moment he felt the soft heart he muttered: "Devour."

The kill was so easy, previously Vritra almost died while killing one of these creatures. His strength had increased tremendously after entering this place.

The Divine was truly too powerful, these Sin Coins could bring disaster to the outside world if even words of them leaked out.

After the absorption finished and his strength shot higher and higher, Vritra approached the lone abomination, the only one praying in the big temple.

"Wake up, it's time to die." Smiling, Vritra cut the body of the red abomination into two with a single strike, and before its body could heal back he picked the heart.

"Devour." Again that same overwhelming feeling returned, his strength increased rapidly once more.

And lots of messages popped in front of him.

{You have cleansed all the Red RipMaws!!}

{Sin Coin → 2500/2500}

{Would you like to undergo the complete evolution and obtain the Divine's Bloodline and Physique?}

{Note: If you agree, drastic changes will take place in your body and in the world. So only start the evolution if you wish to walk the path of the Divine. But start it only once you don't have any pressing matters.}

Vritra read the strange note. If it meant increasing his strength then of course he would choose it, but upon reading the last line he decided to start it after leaving this place.

{You have become the lord of the Abandoned Realm, you can exit or enter at any moment and can control anything inside the realm.}

Then another surprising but wonderful message popped in front of him, it was such a great place. Won't most enemies be powerless after entering this realm?

"Well that sounds great, anyway first I need to deal with those cultists." Vritra said, and with a thought, he was able to find the exact locations of all the cultists.

"Wifey, you no longer have to worry about your energy getting drained by this place, I have taken care of it." Vritra said, as he rose into the air and flew towards the cultists.

All his strength had returned now, with a thought he could control almost everything in the realm.

Not far away from the temple, inside a cave, a group of men seemed to be planning something.

'So they were hiding here, now let's see how much torture they can tolerate.' Vritra thought as he landed at the entrance of the cave and walked inside.

Chapter 342: The Passage

Just a few seconds after Vritra had entered the cave, the screams of the Bone Blood Cultists began to ring out.

Now that his complete strength was back, he was able to give the worst kind of death they could have gotten.

The entire torture continued for nearly forty minutes, after which they just ended up dying on their own.

Vritra stood with his arms crossed in front of his chest, not even a single drop of blood on his body.

He gazed at the scenery in front of him, there were more than fifteen men who had just died.

Though now it was impossible to distinguish which limb and organ belonged to whom.

One person had his head split open like a blooming flower while his body was covered by molten lava.

Another one had a large spike going up from his ass and coming straight out of his mouth, their bodies were completely destroyed from inside and out.

"Haa That felt quite nice, now let's leave." Vritra held a spherical-shaped stone-like object with intricate patterns covering it.

This was the object that allowed these men to walk out at night without any worry, and even attract the abominations.

Flying out of the cave, Vritra headed directly towards the temple.

"Finally!! I will be able to see my cute mother-in-law, just you wait hubby, I am going to complain that you completely ignored me for another woman. Sob Poor me, the first wife..."

Yasmine said, wiping away her imaginary tears.

"Heh What can I say, my naughty wife just loves seeing that sort of thing a bit too much." Vritra chuckled, as he soon arrived close to the temple.

"I don't enjoy it, I just watched for research purposes, you know." Yasmine replied in an honest tone.

Shaking his head, Vritra approached the large statue, walking behind it he pushed the spherical object into the hole and waited.

Instantly the large statue began to move, and a cave opened behind it, which was spacious enough.

"Uh... That's a rather strange place for a cave to be, but on second thought, it also seems normal?" Yasmine muttered, seeing the passage that opened beside the drawings.

"Will this passage bring us outside?" Vritra asked.

"Yeah it will, it's time to return." Yasmine said, letting out a sigh.

This strange realm was quite a strange experience for them both although filled with countless dangers but the gains were really high.

Nodding, Vritra turned and flew away, he planned to bring everyone out of there.

Arriving in the town in less than a minute, Vritra decided to tell this news to Yennifer first.

It was still around noon and she was busy having a chat with other women, getting to know a lot of new things.

"Yenni" landing in front of the group, Vritra called out. The women were surprised that now Vritra was even able to fly.

"Husband!!" the empress exclaimed as she stood up and walked up to him and gave Vritra a tight hug.

"You finished hunting quite fast today." She muttered while holding him tightly, this sort of life was unimaginable for her just a few days ago.

"I found the way to get out of this place, we can finally leave." Vritra announced, surprising everyone who heard.

The sound of chatter filled the air, and it wasn't long before the news spread across the entire town, everyone knew Vritra after all and no one doubted his words.

"Really?!!" Yennefer was really excited and happy by the news.

Soon most of the people of the town gathered, Chopper stood in front of the group and asked just to confirm: "You really found the exit from this cursed place?"

"Yes, so pack up, we are leaving." Vritra said, he and Yennefer didn't really have anything to pack but other people wanted to bring a few things out with them.

Some because of the memories of the ones that had died here, while some had just gotten attached to a few things.

But it didn't take long before they were all ready to leave. With a snap of Vritra's finger, a large platform of dust was created.

"Everyone, climb on it." Vritra said as he jumped on the platform, Yennefer stuck close to him as if they had really gotten married.

"I had been here for so long that this feels like a dream." Lisa muttered, pinching her arm.

"Yeah, I had already given up hope of ever getting out of this place, just staying alive daily was our biggest fight." Mark spoke, walking onto the large platform.

As everyone climbed on top of it, the platform started flying, heading straight towards the forest.

The people were still afraid to even go to the forest, but none of them wanted to stay in this realm for a moment longer.

All the people were surprised when they saw the enormous temple, but Vritra didn't let them waste any time in sightseeing, he wanted to return to the White Kingdom as soon as possible.

"Woah such a big statue, why would they build a temple for an insect?" someone in the crowd muttered.

Chopper who was seated on Duffus's shoulder, looked around curiously and wondered who really was Vritra.

Without him they would never have been able to get out of there.

"Alright now hurry up and go into the passage one by one." Vritra said in a loud voice, as all the people formed a line and started walking inside.

"Thank you Ben, I am really very grateful to you, if we end up at different locations after leaving then make sure to come visit me. Remember, I am the king of the White Kingdom?" Chopper said gratefully.

"Sure Chief, now hurry up, the demons must be wreaking havoc in the kingdom." Vritra said and finally except for him and Yennefer, everyone had left.

"Shall we go?" he asked, taking her hand in his. The empress had a small smile on her face as she nodded, wondering if things would stay the same between them even outside.

They both walked through the passage, the deeper they went the darker it became and at one point, even the sensation of land beneath their feet disappeared.

It was like they were falling and kept falling for a while, but upon opening their eyes, the two found themselves in the Night Forest at exactly the place where they had fallen in the trap.

"We are back!!" Yennefer exclaimed, and she felt so much better as all her strength returned.

"Yeah-" Vritra was just nodding when his gaze moved towards the White Kingdom not so far away, and he was really shocked.

The big wall surrounding it had been completely destroyed, fire and smoke could clearly be seen all over the kingdom.

It was complete chaos.

"Oh, did the demons win the war?" the empress muttered, normally people with such high strength wouldn't meddle in such things, after all a Demon Lord wasn't attacking the kingdom.

Vritra scanned the area and felt that all the Soul Wraiths that he had left behind with the three women had been killed, so they returned to the inventory.

He flew higher and looked at the devastated state of the kingdom, there was no doubt, the demons had defeated and taken over the White Kingdom.

Chapter 452: Reunion

"It's been a while, kid." The beautiful woman gave him a smile. Even though her face looked friendly, in the depth of her eyes was the intent of a powerful sword.

It seemed like she was ready to jump into a battle at any moment. Her aura was only at rank A, but it gave the people sitting near them a sharp feeling of danger.

Daniel, however, didn't care. Instead, a smile appeared on his face.

"It's been a while, but you're as beautiful as ever."

"Heh, you sure have a sweet tongue. Don't worry, I'm not angry," Selenia said lazily.

"Sorry, but I didn't expect things to get this complicated." He sighed and spoke. In truth, he wasn't worried and didn't care at all.

After all, right now he was much stronger than this woman. The one sitting in front of him was the Black Sword of Dawn, Alice's teacher and also one of the officials of the Fallen Sun guild.

"I've heard a bit about the situation from your sister, and it's understandable. Really, I'm not angry. It's only natural that our guild is too small for a genius like you." Selenia sighed.

She was a swordswoman, and swordsmen had the sharpest and strongest instincts among all Awakened. That's why from the moment she sat beside this boy, her body was tense and on guard.

The reason was simple: her instincts told her she was sitting beside a monster. A monster she couldn't possibly defeat and who could probably kill her in a single strike.

She was truly shocked and amazed. Only a few months had passed since the last time she saw this boy, and yet he had already reached a level of power that could terrify even someone like her.

"How is my sister doing? Are you satisfied with her?" Daniel changed the subject, since he could already read this woman's thoughts from her expression.

Even he sighed inwardly. Not much time had passed, but everything had changed. It felt like just yesterday that the Black Sword of Dawn had been like a legendary figure to him.

And now? This woman was sitting beside him, and he couldn't care less. More importantly, he could kill her with a single move whenever he wanted.

"Alice is truly a prodigy. In swordsmanship, she's even more talented than me. She has a really strong will too. Ever since I first saw her, she's always been training and trying to become stronger," Selenia smiled as she thought about her student.

"If it weren't for the rules stopping her from entering the Tower, she'd probably reach rank B in just a few months."

"That's true. Unfortunately, those rules are holding them back. What about Tiana? Do you know anything about her?" Daniel asked with a smile.

"I don't see that girl much. After all, she's a mage and trains with the guild's mages. But she's also a prodigy—the only one I've seen who can compete with Alice on equal terms." Selenia paused for a moment before answering.

"That's good."

"I've heard you train them a lot. In fact, my precious student says the biggest reason for her progress is her brother, right?"

"That's not wrong, but the biggest reason for their progress is their own will," Daniel nodded.

"Would you like to join our guild as a teacher? Don't worry, nothing bad will happen to your membership in your current guild," Selenia asked with excitement.

Now that she realized what kind of monster this boy truly was, she didn't want to miss the chance to deepen their relationship. If she could pull him into their guild, then in the future, when he reached the peak, the Fallen Sun guild would surely benefit greatly.

"It's a good offer, but I'll have to decline." Daniel didn't even think about it and rejected her directly. What a joke—he had no time for that.

"Well..." Selenia sighed, and seeing how quickly he rejected the offer, she didn't try to persuade him anymore.

"Anyway, what's this Sun Spring? It seems like something really valuable."

"The Sun Spring? It's the foundation of our guild, our most precious treasure. For the guild, it's like a sacred place that contains the essence of the sun," the Black Sword of Dawn said before continuing.

"Most rank S Awakened use it to get stronger, and young elites use it to strengthen their foundations. If they're lucky, even their potential and talents can evolve."

"I didn't expect your guild to have such a legendary place." A light sparked in Daniel's eyes, and his view of this guild changed even more.

"Don't look at me like that. Your guild has something similar too. Haven't you heard about it?"

"No, I've heard." He nodded. The equivalent in their guild was the pocket dimension that Naya had trained in for a while.

While they were talking, more than four matches had already finished, and the fifth one had begun.

Of course, during all this time, Daniel was still paying attention to the battles, observing both sides. Once he was sure their strength couldn't pose a threat to his sisters, he stopped examining them further.

'Looks like Alice and Tiana really are way too strong.' He muttered to himself. These other participants were really weak.

From what he saw, they might not even be able to endure a single strike from Alice. At least Tiana was more merciful and might show them a bit of leniency.

"By the way, what's the deal with this promotion that goes to the top ten?" Daniel then remembered something and turned to the woman to ask.

"It's their ranking in the guild. All the ones competing in this tournament are considered Newborn Suns. After that comes Young Sun, then Adult Sun, then Great Sun, then Radiant Sun, and finally Fallen Sun," Selenia explained.

"The higher the rank, the more monthly pay, influence, and authority you get in the guild. The Radiant Sun is the guild leader's current position, and the Fallen Sun is the position of the founder."

"I see. Our guild has a similar system," Daniel nodded.

"Most guilds, especially the top guilds, have systems like this," Selenia said.

Before Daniel could say anything else, suddenly a voice echoed, drawing their attention.

"The next battle is between Alice Noir and Amelia Baker."

Chapter 453: Having A Crush On Tiana?

It didn't take long for Alice to appear on the stage of the battle arena with another girl. They first glanced at each other, then looked around.

The second girl looked clearly embarrassed to be standing in front of such a crowd, while Alice seemed to be searching for her brother.

After a bit of looking, she managed to spot both her brother and her teacher among the spectators watching her. A smile appeared on her face, and her eyes lit up with a radiant glow.

Today, no matter what, she had to win!

"The battle begins," the middle-aged man floating in the sky calmly announced.

The moment he spoke, the girl named Amelia summoned a spear and rushed at Alice. However, to everyone's surprise, before her attack could even land, Alice delivered a powerful kick that sent the girl flying hundreds of meters away.

"... ..."

"Uh? Seems like the battle is over. Alice Noir wins." The middle-aged man was stunned for a moment, not sure what to even say.

He glanced at the girl lying on the ground, and once he was sure she couldn't get up again, he declared Alice the winner.

Still, this victory caused a huge uproar among the crowd. Many couldn't even believe what they had just seen with their own eyes.

"What exactly just happened?"

"That girl won with just one strike! My god, who is she?"

"She's really only Rank F? From that kick, I felt the strength of Rank E, maybe even a bit higher."

"Where did the Fallen Sun Guild find such a genius?"

While the spectators were talking with shock and awe, pride appeared on Daniel's face. His sister had truly made him proud today.

"She looks way stronger than just a few days ago. Did you do something?" Selenia, just as surprised as the audience, turned toward the young man sitting beside her and asked.

"Well, I just helped her a little so she could overcome her limits."

Selenia wanted to say something but didn't know how to put it into words. She had noticed that her disciple couldn't get any stronger without advancing her rank.

But how did she look stronger now? Just what exactly did this boy do?

Before she could ask, the next match had already begun. Time passed slowly, and before anyone realized, it was already time for the top ten battles.

During this time, both Tiana and Alice had won all their matches with ease, most of the time with just one or two strikes. For them, it was even easier than training.

In fact, both of them had grown a bit disappointed with these competitions. They had expected to face challenges, but apparently, their expectations had been too high.

"The next battle will be between Alice Noir and Jack Allen."

Two figures appeared on the battlefield—a beautiful girl and a handsome boy. Both glanced at the crowd.

The girl's expression looked bored, while the boy's expression showed pride and excitement, as if he was thrilled to be cheered on by everyone.

"Alice, how about you just accept defeat?" the boy asked, turning toward the girl in front of him.

"Are you an idiot? Do you want me to beat you half to death?" Alice snorted and mocked, making the boy's expression darken.

"I'm the son of the guild leader's vice commander! If you don't surrender and let me win, I'll make sure you get kicked out of the guild." Jack spoke quietly, making sure only Alice could hear.

"Really? That's actually great news. Then I can finally join my brother's guild." Alice sneered with a laugh.

She knew exactly who this idiot was. Despite his nonsense, he didn't have the power to do anything against her. After all, her teacher was also an influential figure in the guild.

Even if they did kick her out, so what? She wouldn't be losing anything and could just join the Everlight Moon Guild instead.

Jack's face darkened even more. He didn't actually have the power to expel this girl. Not even his father had such authority. He had only wanted to scare her, but apparently, he couldn't even do that.

Clenching his fists, he stepped into a fighting stance. A bright light covered his fists, enlarging and bulking them up.

"You may begin the match," the middle-aged man's voice echoed.

Immediately as the fight began, Jack stepped forward and charged at Alice. His fists descended toward her, and unlike her previous opponents, she didn't block them.

But the moment they landed, Jack realized something was wrong. Instead of hitting a human, it felt like he had punched into a massive rock.

His hand hurt terribly, and after letting out a cry, he quickly pulled back.

"No way! How is your body this strong?!" He stared at the girl with a trace of fear.

"Unlike some people, I train a lot," Alice lazily replied before she moved forward.

In an instant, she appeared before Jack, and before he could even react, she smashed a heavy punch into his face. But she didn't stop with one punch—she followed up with ten, then a hundred more, until his face was completely battered, like a beaten pig.

"This is for you to learn to stay away from Tiana," Alice whispered in a terrifying tone into Jack's ear before letting him go.

This bastard actually liked Tiana and would occasionally harass her. They couldn't do anything against him, so Alice decided to use this perfect chance to beat him up.

"The winner is Alice Noir."

The middle-aged man landed on the ground, checked on Jack, and sighed in relief once he was sure the boy was still alive.

He glanced at Alice, intending to reprimand her for being too ruthless, but at that moment, he noticed a powerful gaze locked onto him.

It wasn't hard to guess—it was definitely her teacher. So he could only sigh and announce the winner before flying back into the sky.

"I didn't expect that girl to be so ruthless."

"Looks like she really didn't like that guy. They must have some sort of grudge."

"If I'm not mistaken, that boy should be the son of the Fallen Sun Guild's vice leader. Even with that background, he still got beaten half to death."

"Just who is that girl? Both she and that other girl, Tiana, are ridiculously powerful and terrifying."

At that moment, Daniel also glanced at Jack. The surprise in his eyes was clear. He knew his sister—if she had beaten someone up this badly, then she definitely had a reason.

Turning toward Selenia, he asked:

"Who is that boy?"

Chapter 454: A Legendray Battle

Selenia paused for a moment before answering.

"That guy is the vice-leader's son from our guild. He's talented, but compared to Alice, he clearly pales."

"Is there some kind of grudge between him and my sister?" Daniel asked.

"I don't think so, but I heard he likes your sister's friend, Tiana, and sometimes he bothers her."

Daniel's eyes went cold for a moment. The atmosphere suddenly turned freezing, and many in the audience felt chills run down their spines.

Even Selenia wasn't an exception. For an instant she smelled death itself. Her pupils widened, and she had no idea how to react.

She quickly calmed herself.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't get near Tiana or Alice again," she said quickly. Naturally, she wasn't stupid. She understood well enough what caused this boy's anger.

Daniel looked at her, the coldness still clear in his eyes. After a moment, he calmed down and everything returned to normal.

"You'd better keep your word."

Selenia let out a sigh of relief, but deep inside she was terrified. She had never been this scared before. For a brief moment, she had actually felt her own death.

The other battles started and ended quietly, and soon, all ten finalists except for the first and second places were finally decided.

"After many battles, all rankings except for first and second have been determined," the voice of a middle-aged man in a red robe echoed in the sky.

"As many of you have already guessed, the final match will be between Alice Noir and Tiana Noir."

As his words spread, two figures appeared in the arena, facing each other. Seeing that their final opponent was each other, smiles appeared on their faces.

"Looks like we're going to have another fight," Alice said mockingly.

"Last time you won. Naturally, this time I'll be the one to win," Tiana replied calmly.

"You shouldn't be so sure," Alice said, summoning her sword. She hadn't used it in any of her previous matches because she didn't need to.

But this time was different. The opponent before her was just as strong as she was, and she couldn't take her lightly.

"You may begin the battle," the middle-aged man said, and the fight officially started.

Alice dashed forward, activating [Starfall Strike]. Her sword came down like a falling star toward Tiana.

Tiana raised her hand and cast [Frozen Shackles]. Ice surged from the ground, forming a barrier. Alice's blade cut through it, but at that same moment, [Storm Spear] shot past and tore through the arena floor.

Both jumped back, their eyes full of excitement and rivalry. From the start of the tournament until now, they had ended every battle with a single strike. To be honest, they had been bored.

But now, they finally faced an opponent who could push them to fight with all they had.

Tiana shouted: "[Crystal Bloom]!"

Ice flowers bloomed across the ground and suddenly exploded toward Alice.

Alice raised her blade: "[Starlight Guard]!"

Her sword glowed, forming a halo of starlight around her. The exploding flowers shattered against it.

Alice immediately counterattacked: "[Celestial Rend]!"

A blade of light shot out from her sword.

Tiana spun with lightning speed: "[Wind Mirage]!"

Her body dissolved into the wind and split into three images. The light slash only broke one, but the real Tiana appeared from the right and unleashed [Flame Spiral].

Alice responded with [Moonfang Rush], lunging forward. Her sword strikes poured out like fangs of the moon, wave after wave.

Tiana pulled back and raised [Terra Wall], but one of the slashes cut through and grazed her arm.

Tiana smiled. "Not bad... but watch this!"

Her ring lit up: "[Elemental Convergence]!"

Four elements gathered at once—flame, wind, earth, and ice—forming a glowing sphere of compressed energy that she hurled at Alice.

It was a skill she had gained after yesterday's fight with Daniel, but she had decided to hide it until now as her surprise.

Alice's eyes widened as she leapt forward, activating [Deathless Star Armor]. Starry lines lit up across her armor as it absorbed the massive strike. The training field shook under the explosion, dust rising everywhere, but Alice was still standing.

"I didn't want to use [Deathless Star Armor], but I guess I have no choice... I'll have to make the most of it. Time to push Tiana back," she muttered, preparing to attack again.

With a roar, Alice charged forward, her blade trailing silver light through the air.

"[Moonfang Rush]!"

The waves of her sword slashes rushed at Tiana like the fangs of the moon.

Tiana's ring glowed: "[Aqua Shield]!"

Water gathered, forming a transparent wall, but the first slash broke it apart. Tiana had to quickly use [Wind Mirage] to dodge the following strikes.

She retreated, slightly out of breath.

'Since yesterday when we fought Daniel, she's gotten better too... especially her speed.'

Tiana raised her hand.

"[Flame Spiral]!"

Flames surged upward and rushed at Alice.

She immediately followed by shaking the ground: "[Stone Chains]!" Chains of stone burst from the earth and coiled around Alice's legs.

But Alice swung her sword, cutting them apart with [Celestial Rend], and charged straight through the flames. The star armor shielded her from the heat. She emerged from the fire and in a flash closed in on Tiana.

In panic, Tiana used [Frozen Shackles]. Ice bound Alice up to her waist.

But Alice smirked. "Caught me... or so you think?"

With the strength of her armor, the ice shattered, forcing Tiana to retreat.

The audience roared, filling the arena with cheers. Both girls were exhausted, but Tiana was clearly panting harder. Her ring still glowed, but her energy was nearly spent.

She made one final attempt:

"[Elemental Convergence]!"

The four elements gathered once more, but this time more unstable than before. The energy wavered, on the verge of exploding.

Alice leapt forward, unleashing [Starfall Strike]. Her sword came down as the unstable convergence exploded. The clash of light and elemental energy consumed the entire arena in a storm.

"What happened? Who won?"

"The smoke's covering everything! We can't see!"

The middle-aged man waved his hands, dispersing all the smoke.

Both girls were kneeling on the ground, but Alice forced herself to rise. Her sword was still in her hand. Tiana's ring had gone dim, her strength completely drained.

Alice raised her sword and placed its edge against Tiana's neck.

"It's over... I won again," she said, breathing heavily.

"Really?" A mischievous light flickered in Tiana's eyes. And in the very next moment, something happened that left Alice in shock and awe.
