On this particular day, a young trainer named Ash Ketchum was preparing to leave Cerulean City, getting ready at the Pokémon Center alongside his companions Brock, Misty, and his always-cheerful partner Pikachu, who sat on his head.
"Alright! I've got two Gym Badges already!""Don't rush," Brock warned. "You still have a long way to go.""Brock's right, Ash," Misty added. "If you really want to compete and become a Pokémon Master, you're going to need to work even harder."
Suddenly, screens began appearing at various spots around the Pokémon Center.They drew the attention of everyone present—some were even worried it might be an attack.
But this wasn't isolated to just one place.
All around the world, the same strange event was happening.Screens appeared in every area populated by humans or Pokémon. Giant ones hovered over cities and towns, causing confusion and fear.
No one knew what was going on—or what might happen next.

Before anyone could speak, a broadcast began.
A bright, flashy stadium appeared, packed with a massive crowd—reporters, trainers, and regular spectators alike.
Everyone stared in amazement, especially those from Galar, who instantly recognized the stadium.
Even the undefeated Champion Leon, training in an open field with his Charizard, noticed the screen.
"Why are there so many people in Galar? This is strange…"
His voice carried genuine curiosity and confusion.
Inside the stadium, two people were seen running down a hallway, with a Pikachu beside them.
"You're almost there, A—""Oh, I—!""We both made it into the Top 8 Masters!""Yeah! I was so excited to see you today!""Same here! I made it this far..."
The words "Top 8 Masters" stunned everyone who understood their meaning—especially the eight elite Pokémon trainers who held those titles.
