Chapter 79 - Story of Creation.

[A/n: Please note that this starts the Official second Arc of this story. That means that the story will follow our main character, and I will be adding other characters to this Arc. These side characters will have their own POVs and other stuff. Basically, I have been reading a lot of SCP stories and realized that I can do a lot better. Unfortunately, the O5 Counsel will only be able to approve or disapprove "Grants" or "Proposals" that are given to them. I hope that is okay with the O5 Counsel. Ultimately, the following things will happen. One some chapters will be "side" stories that are from the POV of the "side" characters. Two there will be "Grants" and "Proposal" chapters for the O5. These chapters will not be related to anything, but will change the outcome for the story. Hope you guys like it :) ]

The Book of OriginsThe First Dawn

In the beginning, there was only the One.

Before all things, the One existed alone. From Its endless power, awareness was formed. From Its own knowledge and Its own flesh, It shaped two great beings.

The first was Mekhane, born of knowledge, a being of Order. The second was Yaldabaoth, born of flesh, a being of Chaos.

When they opened their eyes, they asked the One,"Creator, what shall we do?"

And the One answered,"I give you free will."

So they began their work.

Mekhane set laws across the young multiverse.Space, Time, and the fabric between worlds were shaped by Its hands.

Yaldabaoth from its flesh created creatures, much like its own self. But when these creatures born from Yaldabaoth demanded more so Yaldabaoth devoured them.Their ashes drifted into the void.

Mekhane gathered the ashes and used them to form new life.Seeing this, Yaldabaoth felt desire for the first time.

Thus began the First War.

When it ended, Mekhane lay broken, and Yaldabaoth was sealed away. The One watched without sorrow, for It had foreseen all these things.

The Second Creation

From the remains of Mekhane and Yaldabaoth, the One created again.

It formed a perfect Haven and filled it with new beings:

Angels, to guard order.Demiurges, to help create worlds and life.Keepers, to preserve knowledge.Elder Gods, to rule over concepts too vast to imagine.

When all stood before the One, It said again,"I give you free will."

The Angels, Demiurges, and Keepers joined the One in creating the Earth, the Heavens, and all realms between.

Angels took their place as guardians of Heaven and of souls. The Demiurges shaped life from the remnants of Yaldabaoth's flesh. The Keepers built a world of endless shelves, a Library holding the knowledge of all realities. The Elder Gods took dominion over mysteries too deep for mortal minds.

For a time, there was peace.

The Scarlet King's Envy

But among the Elder Gods was one who called himself the Scarlet King.He learned the truth behind creation, and with that knowledge came hatred.

He despised the Maker's design. He envied his brothers and sisters. In secret, he killed and consumed other Elder Gods.

This war, born in shadows, continues even now. With each victory, the Scarlet King grows stronger, dreaming of the day he will destroy all creation.

Yet while he stirred in darkness, the rest of the realms lived in peace.

The Making of Humanity

The One then created beings in Its own likeness. They were called Humans.

The One announced,"I shall create no more. I will watch."And It gave only a single rule:

"Eat not the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge."

But the Scarlet King's influence stretched far.The Demiurge Serpent grew lazy. The Angel Lucifer pitied humankind and wished to grant them wisdom.

Together they fed humans the forbidden fruit.

The Creator's wrath fell upon all creation.

The Judgments

To the Angels, the One decreed:

"You shall never leave Heaven again, except for one who will guard the Gate upon the Earth."

To the Keepers, the One declared:

"You shall remain forever in your Library, bound to knowledge alone."

To the Demiurges, the One declared:

"You shall know hunger, and pain, and disease."

This was the greatest blow, for never had the Demiurges known suffering.

Lucifer and Lilith were cast into Hell by their own brethren. The Keepers returned to their domain without protest.

But the King of the Demiurges, Frederick, wept before the Maker. He and his sister Agathos begged for mercy, saying only the Serpent was to blame.

Frederick punished the Serpent himself, binding him to an undying form, despised by all life and denied Heaven and Hell alike.

But the Maker did not lift the curse.

Soon hunger clawed at the Demiurges.Pain weakened their limbs.Disease crept through their bodies.

And Frederick's grief turned to rage.

The Rebellion

Frederick led a host of Demiurges in rebellion. He raged against his Maker, against humanity, against the Serpent, against all that he believed had brought this suffering.

But many Demiurges remained loyal to the Maker. They fought their own siblings to stop the rebellion from tearing creation apart.

And when the rebel was finally stopped. The faithful Demiurges built a new Hell—a prison of their own makingto contain the ones that rebelled against their Maker..

When Frederick was defeated, his punishment was severe:

His snout was removed from his face. His crucifix burned beneath him.His chest was opened and his stomach severed from its roots, yet left inside him so he would grow weak without end.

Agathos was given her own sorrow:

Her shell was sealed in white clay shaped like her.Her eyes were taken.Black tears were set to fall from her forever.

Frederick and his followers were cast into the Hell the loyal Demiurges had forged.

The Scarlet King watched with pride, for chaos feeds his strength.

The Wandering on Earth

Those Demiurges who remained faithful still suffered hunger, pain, and disease.Heaven was closed to them.Hell was denied to them.

So they chose a different path:to walk among humans as mortals, reborn in the likeness of the Maker's new children.

Thus they blended into the world, bearing their quiet suffering,

Only two loyal and faithful servants remain in the Garden of Eden. They stayed until their bodies could no longer continue. As they laid in the Garden of Eden they wept as their once perfect Paradise had been destroyed. So the leaders of the faithful wrote.

{A/N: This is official writing from SCP-2746. Please report the official creators}

Congratulations. You found Eden. Go back. Go back, and forget about it. You would be much better off. If you insist, fine, but just humor someone trying to give you advice, and read this first.

You probably knew of Eden; you thought of it as a paradise, a holy ground where nothing could have gone wrong, death couldn't touch anyone, and everyone was content. No sin… I suppose it was. Not any more. We've abandoned that notion a long, long time ago.

Get this in your head right now; Eden is dead.

After what happened, we fought each other. I had to watch as our brother, our sister, our sons, and daughters were starved into madness and pinned to a cross, and half the time, I was the one who had to do it; the other times, it was Sari. There were those I had no mercy for; the ones that tortured, the ones that… indulged. Then there were the ones I regret; those I knew personally… I almost didn't do it, but I thought I had to. So I did.

I am a very different person because of what happened here. I miss my friends. I miss the old me who liked to just sing and fuck around. I miss the times when we all liked each other, the times when no one was hurting, and the times when 'protector' only meant breaking up an argument every now and then. I would give up anything to return to that time.

That's why I don't want anyone seeing this place anymore; it's bad ground. If some authoritative body finds it, fine, I don't care so long as you have it left alone. It's a graveyard, not an attraction.

Do I feel like a protector? No, I don't. I resent that title, and anytime someone calls me that, I feel dead inside. The only person I could relate to is Sari, and that's because she did the same things I did. The two of us are the only ones left; the others… they couldn't handle being the only ones left, so they just gave up. We had the opportunity to join them, but… it didn't feel right at the time, especially after everything we've done.

Now, we just want it forgotten. We want a chance at a happier life, and hopefully we've got that by the time you read this. Hopefully, when we've cleaned the slate, exchanged this 'divinity' for simple, human lives. It's all we can hope for.

Signed,

Suwaird
