The most offensive thing I could have possibly said to my lackey escaped my lips. And his reaction only proved the level of offense.
But, allow me to back up a bit and show you what I mean.
Wolf's explanation started with an orphanage. An orphanage that I was well aware of, but apparently not well enough aware of.
The orphanage was one of the many in the kingdom. It was called Saint Ophelia's Blessing. The name pays homage to an old tale from The Church. I'm not overly familiar with religious lore, but I knew Ophelia was the only female saint in The Church's history. (Are we surprised? Absolutely not.)
Anyway, Saint Ophelia's Blessing was a modest-sized orphanage nestled on the outskirts of the capital. It was sponsored by a handful of nobles trying to gain social points and run by an older peasant man.
