Angel was sitting at the bar downing another drink, staring at the shelf of various bottles with resentment to the last interaction with Noctis. He wasn't alone but he wasn't listening. Charlie and Vaggie were behind him, their fixated in a mix of concern and disapproval, waiting for him to open up just a little and at least see reason behind the cut on his lip.
"Leave me alone."
"Angel you can't stay mad at Noctis." Charlie tried to be the voice for understanding and squeezed her hands together with hope.
Vaggie wasn't as gentle as the princess however—obviously by how she was standing there, arms crossed and her eye narrowed in frustration for Noctis' side.
"You got so aggressive you grabbed him and shoved him against the counter. You have no one to blame but yourself."
"Vaggie..." Charlie pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.
Angel Dust spun around in his barstool and glared at both girls defensively, wondering where they had the audacity to criticize him.
"I didn't see you two stepping up and laying it down on Noctis the danger of the Vees!"
Both girls blinked in surprise but Vaggie was the one to step forward and push the matter while Charlie watched with bated breath.
"The point is, you horny spider, that you put your hands on Noctis and pinned him. It's no wonder he got scared and his soul reacted!"
Angel clenched his teeth in disbelief as his eyes narrowed to challenging argument. He then stood up and got in her space.
"Unlike you two lovebirds I have no fucking problem laying it heavy on hotstuff upstairs when it comes to his safety. This aint some normal bullshit. The Vees know he exists now and will find a way to have him, especially Valentino!"
Vaggie didn't back down from Angel and stepped closer to where she was looking up to him, tension running high and heavy between them as Charlie thought quickly how to diffuse things.
"That doesn't justify you putting your hands on him!"
"You're all a bunch of kids." Husk spoke up as he poured himself a glass, getting the skepticism from all three.
Vaggie forced her disapproving stare from Angel to Husk who was as nonchalant in his opinion with how he watched them and drank his liquor.
"If we wanted your damn opinion we will let you know when we want advice from a drunk." She replied in annoyance.
Husk raised an eyebrow in the midst of a drink which followed with more commentary of his personal view.
"This coming from one of the two girls that are all smitten with the white haired fucker upstairs."
"Hey that's right, you two are always on my ass about space but up his ass and all touchy." Angel accused, his expression hardened to a smugness that had the blushing vaggie wanting to punch him.
"What!?" Charlie raised her tone with her own redness coming on and turned away sputtering. "That—No—We just—"
Husk had to use every ounce of conteol to not fuel his next set of words with irritation to the obvious interaction both girls have shared with Noctis during his stay, and judging by the scrutiny in his tipsy gaze he was already thin with patience.
"Don't bullshit me, princess. A bartender is one of the most observant people you'll meet, and I've watched how you and your girlfriend act around that boy."
Vaggie quickly slammed her hands down on the bar, glaring right at the drunk while Charlie played with her own hair nervously.
"We do not have feelings for Noctis if that's what you're implying!"
"Bullshit." Angel Dust sang the single word with a mocking tune.
"We don't." Vaggie snapped at them both. Although the blush on her and the way Charlie was muttering with her back turned didn't help their case, and had husk now smirking as well.
"So if Noctis were to date someone?" Angel Dust implied with his usual smugness.
While Vaggie gave away her own feelings in a growl, Charlie for all her life being the sweet and gentle princess they know couldn't hold back her displeasure with how she shook to his words.
Angel smirked with Husk and chuckled darkly before he pushed the sweet girl by her buttons and did it with imagination.
"Yeah, dating," he purposely gave a dramatic pause by staring at his own nails. "Couldn't imagine some girl saying no to taking our boy for a night out."
"Night out?" Charlie still had her back turned and clenched her fists.
Vaggie was seething to the idea as well, but it was Charlie that Angel wanted to push when her control was lacking.
"Oh yeah toots," he purred to her. "Imagine if someone like me, or maybe a girl, gave him a wild night. I can already see Noctis getting his rocks with his first demon."
Charlie's imagination gone directly to the image of Noctis in bed with someone, and it made her spin in place with her mild transformation radiating as they saw the fury in her reddened eyes.
"NOBODY CAN HAVE HIM!" She screamed with her voice taking on a demonic tone.
A silence passed after those words except for the heavy breathing from the princess as Husk and Angel smirked triumphantly at getting her to admit.
Charlie reeked of possessive fury with all I'll intention of backing up her words until she realized what exploded from her mind. She pressed a hand tocher mouth and turned beet red as her horns shrank.
The cat was definitely out of the bag now, or in this case Keekee was tilting her head at Charlie as she tried to justify her meaning.
"That's not...we....I mean….."
Charlie had nothing to defend herself and vaggie with while Angel Dust laughed. She was both stunned by her own admission and mortified that she was so easily baited with a scenario.
"Oh this is gol—"
Angel never got to finish his sentence as Vaggie reached her breaking point with his antics. She grabbed his wrist and jerked him from his seat before shoving him to the stairs. He flailed a little from the imbalance but caught himself at the first.
"Get your ass up there and apologize you asshole!"
"Alright I'm going!" He snapped with reluctance.
Meanwhile….
Noctis was sitting on his bed with a haunted look about him. He was still despairing and hating how a few days ago he hurt Angel Dust even if involuntarily.
His friend, his perverted friend, but a close friend nonetheless, now gapped with the confrontation that made his very soul repel the spider demon out of fear.
And it hurt him to understand that Angel was a slave to a demon like Valentino.
He had known Angel to be keeping secrets but to hear it from Charlie the suffering his friend endured made a bitter thought process that grew a scowl of guilt and anger.
And now he locked himself up in his room with the phone on the nightstand with a flashing caller I.D. from the same contact of Vox. It teased him, the desire to answer and see what this demon wanted already with him.
"Why is that guy calling me?" He asked himself with a slow reach for it to—
No, he promised to stay away from The Vees and that's exactly what he would do because he promised Angel, even if it was part of the confrontation.
"He acted that way to protect me…." He thought somberly while thinking back to the fear and desperation on Angel's face. "But he has no one to lookout for him. He's suffering a life nobody deserves and there's nothing that can be done."
Now anyone with a right mind, or a demon mind, would think less of the matter and work toward self-preservation. But being a human wasn't what made Noctis care so much. Truth be told he cared about the spider demon more than anyone in the hotel. He cared as a deep friend, cared so harshly his knuckles cracked from clenching his fists out of anger for Angel. Sure he was well aware that nothing can be done, but his mind, no.... his soul, it screamed at the unfairness his friend was out through.
He needed to make things right, but he didn't know how and it burned distastefully in his chest. It wasn't just guilt that fueled this rising anger, it was how much he cherished Angel as the first real friend in his life.
"DAMMIT!" He shouted his anger and threw the lamp on the nightstand across the room, staring at the shattering pieces like a crumbling of his self-control.
Noctis scoffed at his own action with resentment and glared at the new cellphone ringing again, this time crackling with energy that made him step back cautiously.
"What the fuck?"
He felt the hairs on his neck stand up at watching the phone spark with electricity and had to back away. A feeling of danger was common as the energy got stronger and began to distort.
The phone stood up on its own and Vox' face appeared on the screen.
"Hey human."
Noctis dropped every emotion except for shock at the tv demon appearing on the screen. He didn't understand how or if he even wanted to while said demon took in his reaction with amusement.
"Yeah I'm pretty awesome." Vox commented arrogantly while commanding the phone to wobble around the nightstand. "You better close that mouth before you attract possession."
Noctis collected himself at those words and shook off the growing confusion but suddenly felt a familiar sense of danger across his skin as he stared down at Vox in his phone screen and approached cautiously, waiting to hear what he had to say.
"So you like the phone?" Vox asked with a knowing of its features as he showed himself checking his own claws. "Consider it a welcome gift from yours truly."
"Welcome gift?" Noctis questioned before it dawned to him that this was one of the demons he was forbid from seeing. "Wait, you're one of the Vees?"
"Damn straight!" Vox cheered with a backflip of the phone, expressing intense excitement. "Name's Vox, I'm the media demon, and I want to bring you over for a little get-together!"
Noctis' face fell with speculation at the demon being so enthusiastic.
"You want me to come to you?"
It was seen by Vox that he checked his own claws with a smug knowing. "Come to us or come in general, whatever you humans like."
Noctis cringed at that implication while Vox continued his faux innocence.
"But yeah, I want you to come to our tower and just have a little chat. You're the first and only human in hell and we are dying to meet ya!" Vox sounded a little too cheerful in his explanation.
"Wait, we?" Noctis questioned with his internet now piqued.
The next Noctis he knew he was watching on the phone as Vox was shoved off-screen by his face and the fashionista of hell appearing on the screen with her own interest and too-sweet of a smile.
"Hello darling." Velvette sang to background the curses coming from Vox, eyeing Noctis' form on the spot. "Well arent you just the talk of the hour."
She paused with a hungry bite of her lip while the man blushed at her image. "And I can see why. Never seen a human like you before."
"Who…..are you?" Noctis asked while he was still trying to wrap his head around the situation.
"Me?" She pressed a hand to her chest and declared herself both dramatic and proud. "Why I'm Velvette, you adorable human. I'm the fashion overlord and the top proprietor of all designs."
"Okay…." Noctis was at a blank as Velvette flared her power on screen and performed a change of scenery to her main office with various design teams and outfits carried around in haste while Vox fumed at his spotlight being stolen.
It was no mystery to Noctis that the workers were rushing around with terror in their eyes and it had him wondering just what these demons were up too.
"See darling?" Velvette chirped and grabbed whatever device was being used to connect to display as she walked. "All of this is yours truly. I host most fashions in all of hell."
"I can see that." Noctis crossed his arms and decided to play along.
Little did he know a certain demon in the shadows was watching intently for the east corner of his room and assessing the confrontation while another pair of eyes was peeking through the keyhole after hearing the voices.
"Now—" Velvette set the device on her desk and took a provocative sitting in her chair. "Let's talk about you and that filthy attire you have when you get here."
"My attire?" Noctis looked down to his smudged clothing. "It's just dirty. I work around the hotel a lot for Charlie, and I didn't agree to visit."
Velvette gave a playful scoff while the hidden demon in the room thought how two of the Vee's were clearly trying to get Noctis' attention.
"Yes and no on the dirt sweetie," Velvette leaned further back in her chair, staring almost critically. "I'm talking about the design, the flare, it's so last year and your body clearly has more to give and I'm the one who fashion you up."
"Charlie made this for me with her powers."
"And that's the problem," Velvette she empasized with gesture from her hands, as if real king to a client. "You have looks, a toned form, and the princess is dressing you up like some neat little servant."
Noctis bristled to those words with a mild irritation in the stiffening of his posture as he approached the phone, unaware of the demon in hiding whispering before a shadow slipped inconspicuously across the floor and merged with Noctis.
"Noctis, sweetie." Velvette put on her sweet facade once more with a batting of her eye lashes. "Listen to me, you're an anomaly but a star nonetheless with being here in our domain. Why not come to us for a chat and I'll fix you up and make you look sexy."
"Sexy?" Noctis questioned with discomfort to idea of being appealing to a bunch of random demons.
The fashionista darkened her smile on the screen and displayed outfits behind herself with a snap of her fingers.
"I could make you the next big thing. Demons will line up just to get a glimpse of you." She leaned back with a longing gaze of her imagination that emohasized in the way her hands moved. "Think about it, the only human in hell and exclusive friend with us. Demons would kill to have a moment with you."
"Damn straight." Vox cheered after he forced his way back onto the screen, ignoring the disapproval of his ally. "You'd be so fucking popular you'd have a line of those underclass losers wanting to suck you off!"
Said human flinched to such a brutal statement and recoil slightly to that idea, obviously not interested.
"Thanks, but I'm not into that kind of thing."
"Not into that kind of thing!?" Vox exclaimed in disbelief as Velvette laughed from her seat. "What kind of human doesn't want to get laid all the time!?"
Noctis frowned and was about to retort but was suddenly concerned with how the standing phone started to crackle with electricity. He stood a little too close for his comfort and proceeded to back away with the unknown shadow merged with his ready to intervene.
"Screw it!" Vox yelled and snapped his fingers while Velvette watched.
The shadow looked back to its owner who only shook his head before the phone sparked with electricity and shot off the nightstand and forcefully into Noctis' hand.
"HEY!"
Noctis barely had the time to echo that word before he was consumed in the electricity and taken in a flash that left only a burn mark on the floor and a very amused Alastor coming out of the corner with his own nefarious ideas.
"Now the fun begins."
His amusement was short though with the door opening to reveal a stunned but also horrified Angel Dust that witnessed everything.
"Did you enjoy the show?" The radio demon breathed mockery and amusement as the spider demon immediately ran out in a panic.
Angel was still blank with horror in the midst of understanding that Alastor had let the Vees take their human friend to who knows where.
He looked over to the grinning overlord who as usual showed no sign of guilt or remorse for playing the situation to his advantage. A chuckle escaped his lips before the spider demon confronted.
"What did you do!?" Angel screamed angrily.
"What I always—"
Alastor never to got finish his sentence as the perverted spider grabbed his coat out of nowhere and shoved him against the wall. He grunted and laughed with darker persona.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Angel was storm of fury and terror while Alastor stared him down.
"Strategy." Alastor hissed amusedly. "Something you wouldn't understand."
Angel Dust had so much to say but stepped back with a clear mind of dealing with Alastor katee before bolting out of the bedroom.
"CHARLIE WE HAVE A BIG FUCKING PROBLEM!"
The scene shifts to Noctis with his eyes clenched shut from the light. He barely moved his arms from his face before feeling someone an arm go around his shoulder and the touch of another demon close to him.
"What's up fucker!" Vox cheered like they were old friends. "Welcome to the tower of The Vees!"
"What?" Noctis gasped to that chilling revelation before his posture loosened.
He opened his eyes and straightened up the best of his ability before Vox kept his arm around and gave a low whistle and used his free hand to pay Noctis on his stomach.
"Whoa." He wore a look between amusement and surprise. "Not a fatty are you?"
"HEY!" Noctis exclaimed to the media demon after his shirt was lifted to see the top of his torso. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
He was feeling beyond violated at this point and stepped back with red underneath his anger after slapping Vox's hands. He looked mortified that such a nonchalant demon was still callous after that little display of curiosity.
"What?" Vox drawled playfully with that same smug grin and a shrug of his shoulders as Velvette hopped out of her seat and approached with her own intentions.
"Don't touch me like that!" Noctis commanded, but his irritation was nothing but a fun response to Vox.
"Oh don't be such a bitch. Had to see what you were packing. Not bad by the way." Vox said amusedly with a wink that made the man feel anything but comfortable.
"Hello darling!" Velvette sang and waved her powers to spin Noctis in place by the hem of his pants.
"HEY YOU—"
The man found himself silent when the fashionista grabbed his chin with her own aura and pulled him to her eye level, examining his face with the other hand moving hair from blocking her view. Obviously the man had no knowledge of the two other than the earlier warning from Angel Dust and remained quiet for his own safety while peering into her eyes.
"Such a pretty thing you are," she mused but dropped her sweetness with a cringe of the dirtied clothes and scoffed a few steps back. "But such an ugly presentation of yourself with those disgusting garments."
"What?" Noctis exclaimed but fell almost deaf to her sudden shouting until he covered his ears.
"Girls, get your asses in here now!"
A group of demoness' zipped right in between her and the human, but their attention was to their suddenly unhappy overlord that barked orders while Vox leaned on a wall and watched.
"Strip him, clean him, dress him." She was fast and precise with no room for error. "And fix his hair. I want him to look comfortable and hot."
"What?" Noctis stood there wide eyed as the girls grew together various smiles of different motives.
She went to turn away but snapped a finger at them with her threatening authority and materialized a whole new thread for the man.
"And make it fast or your hides will be my next fucking design!"
The group didn't waist a second and rushed the uncomfortable man with various seamstress tools that quickly took away his shirt and went next for his pants.
"Hey, that was from Charlie!" Noctis exclaimed before his heart sank at how the shirt was tossed in a waste bin and burned without consideration.
Velvette growled in frustration of their short-sighted thinking and pointed at the door. "IN THE FUCKING WASHROOM YOU IDIOTS, NOT OUT HERE IN MY OFFICE!"
The group flinched at her anger and nodded before they pushed and shoved the blushing human to her private washroom. The door slammed and came next was a collection of giggles from them his screams of embarrassment muffled by said door.
"HEY, THATS MY PRIVATE AREA!"
Velvette chuckled at the ongoing commentary as Vox took a spot to stand next to her with a plot forming with how he puzzled his screen.
"Alright, now we gotta just keep him here." Vox already had his idea come to mind and summoned a screen with a snap of his fingers before making a call.
"What's your big idea?" Velvette asked curiously after composing herself, only to hold back her laughter when Noctis screamed in the washroom, "I DONT NEED HELP WASHING THAT!"
"Just need to keep the meat sack feeding on our hospitality." Vox waited impatiently for the one he was calling to answer.
Velvette had a hunch to whom Vox was speaking of and groaned in annoyance to the idea of Valentino. She knew better than anyone else how that perverted moth would do his damn best to sink his claws into a specimen like Noctis for his own studio profits or for his own pleasure.
"If it's Valentino just keep him out of the dark. That fucking moron will ruin this for us." She turned her attention back to the door and approached it for her own desires while the call went through.
"Yes darling?" Valentino purred from his own bed as the screen showed him barely clothed with various demoness' under the covers for different purposes.
Vox grinned from corner to corner of his screen.
"Got any sluts wanting to dump off their kid?"
Valentino was taken aback by that question when it goes out of character for his electrified lover, but he knew something was about to happen, something new and fun that made the him grin sadistically while a random hellhound was between his legs.
"I have a fresh one from a mom I just fired."
Vox was more than pleased as Valentino turned the video on his end to show a mutilated hellhound being torn apart and devoured by some of his starving video crew. The crunch of bones and tear of flesh was a little much for Vox's taste, but it brought results of obedience with Valentino's methods for power.
"She was getting worn down anyway."
"Perfect," the media demon chuckled as the camera turned again to the whining pup that was being held wrongly in the arms of an assistant. "Have them bring it up to the office."
"And what are you up to baby?" Valentino continued. He wasn't sure what was going on but something told him secrets were being kept. "You only care for having brats thrown out in the streets."
"Don't worry about it." Vox brushed off his lover for his curiosity, a bad notion that made the porn demon while at the washroom door was a peeking and very impressed Velvette.
"You're hiding something." Valentino wasn't happy now but maintained his playful smile.
"Just send the damn flea bag up here. I'll fill you in later." Vox ended the call with a sigh of relief and looked back to the fashionista smirking as she peeped the keyhole to see the very naked and yelping human both restrained and blushing at how the girls were cleaning all of him.
"Not bad." She hummed to the intimate parts of his body.
"Velvette—" Vox hummed musically with his arms crossed. "That's a little much, even for you."
She removed her gaze from the keyhole and shook off the image she just got before smiling at her colleague with a mix of hunger and irritation.
"I'm a fucking overlord. I can see if I want."
Vox rubbed his forehead as he felt a headache coming on and closed his eyes bring back some focus to himself.
"Just stick with controlling the meat sack first before anything else."
He opened his eyes wheb the doors opened and looked back with some relief that Valentino sent up a personal assistant with an infant wrapped in a blanket, whimpering and on the verge of crying.
"What's with the brat?" Velvette asked curiously, peeking to see the bundle Vox took from the succubus that bolted. "A pup?"
"Yup." Vox cradled the pup halfheartedly as it whimpered. "Humans love dogs, well most, so what better way to than to keep Noctis around with this furball and a little spotlight as well."
Velvette rolled her eyes at him and clicked her tongue in amused annoyance.
"So you plan to what, make him a hellhound daddy and put his ass on tv on the spot?"
"Exactly!" Vox laughed as more cries of embarrassment came from the washroom. "Humans will do anything to feel special, and by doing this he will eat up the attention!"
"This is stupid and won't work." She retorted, although she didn't have a plan of her own except using social media herself.
"Just play along bitch. Get your phone out." He sighed as the door clicked and opened.
The girls ushered out and with blushes and giggles with Noctis following out of the steam and appearing nothing like the filthy man ten minutes ago. Though still mortified that a bunch of demons saw his everything he was now radiating with his new outfit— black knee high boots with blue patterned pants, a red sleeveless vest over an unseen tank top, ending with a two-tailed long coat that carried symbols of the Vees down bith sleeves.
Both demons were actually surprised that underneath the dirt and grime was something worth the trouble of controlling. While Velvette was actually attracted for her own dark desires, the smile on Vox turned darker with growing certainty that Noctis would bring him closer to his goals.
"Not bad." He puzzled his screen and eyed the man up and down.
"Not bad at all." Velvette added with an aesthetic gaze to the outfit curving his form.
Noctis glared at Velvette sternly with clear disapproval of his embarrassing moment in the washroom, his cheeks still flush from the encounter.
"Don't ever do that again."
Both demons laighed audibly at his embarrassment with no sense of dignity for another person.
Velvette was the first to get herself under control while Noctis stared at the bundle with curiosity.
"Oh come now darling—" she had to wipe a tear. "You can't tell us you didn't enjoy my assistants touching your body. They were definitely not complaining."
"What's that?" He pointed lazily to the the bundle before it was thrusted into his arms.
"It's your new pet." Vox cheered mildly.
"Pet?" Noctis questioned.
Before he could ask questions or look to see what was wrapped in the blanket, Vox and Velvette scrunched together at his sides and took a selfie which she immediately posted and caption 'Say hello to our new friend'
Noctis blinked to the flash and clenched his eyes shut to the blindness that followed as the bundle in his arms whimpered from obvious fear of the camera flash.
He instantly focused his attention to the bundle while Vox and Velvette were already working their magic to playing out the post with more methods to increasing media.
There was slight movement in the bundle before he pulled over the top to see a canine of brown fur and striking red eyes. His eyes met it and the uncomfortable feeling of new smells melted away from the infant as it blinked curiously.
"A dog?"
The baby tilted its head and sniffed before sticking its tongue partially out of its mouth, but that response was the least of Noctis' concern when he pulled more of the blanket to find the tiniest hands rather than paws.
Noctis stared at the pup more cautiously but remained curious as he took in its sharp features that resembled nothing of the dogs he knew back on earth. A wider but more critical stare came from the man as he used his free hand to touch the pup.
"You're no dog I've ever seen before." He chuckled with a strange warmth in his chest as it grasped his finger. "Then again I've always been in the hotel."
The pup sniffed his finger before licking with some form of trust.
"Where's your mom?" Noctis asked as he couldn't believe he was talking to this strange creature.
The pup flickered its gaze to Vox before looking back up to Noctis with soft whimpers.
Noctis looked back at the chatting demons warily but kept his focus on the pup now trying to nibble his finger. His apprehension of the two grew with suspicion that this whole pet thing was just a means of getting in his good side. He remembered again the fear and anger from Angel Dust and hardened his own motives of getting back to the hotel without raising suspicion.
"Don't worry kid. I'll get us out of here." He whispered.
The pup didn't understand what Noctis was saying but sensed the protective nature from him. It squeaked out a yawn and nestled against his chest before Vox snapped his fingers and disoriented Noctis again with the sudden change of scenery.
"Alright Noctis it's showtime!"
"Showtime?" Noctis questioned before shaking off his disorientation and adjusted the pup on his arm.
Before he knew what was happening, the room altered again and he was in a chair between Vox and Velvette as she used her powers to spruce up his attire and examine his face for any blemishes. He couldn't see from the sudden powdering of his face while an entire camera crew was setting up and preparing to start what would be an interview.
"Alright, five minutes and it's on!" Vox cackled for his own fun.
"What's on?" Noctis asked after sputtering makeup powder.
The little pup in his arm squeaked a sneeze as the room filled with a camera crew and focused on the three in individual seats, capturing Vox with a hand on the nervous human's shoulder while Velvette touched his thigh.
"What's going on?" Noctis asked, already wanting for some miracle to get him out of whatever the two overlords were planning.
"You're about to be a star darling!" Velvette answered enthusiastically as the camera finished preparations.
Meanwhile.....
"YOU DID WHAT!?" Charlie and Vaggie screeched with shaky fury.
Intensity was an understatement in the foyer after Angel Dust informed everyone what had transpired in Noctis' room, fury and disbelief radiating in the way Charlie flared her horns and ignited her hair while Vaggie gripped her spear so tightly it creaked.
"You let that fucker take him!?" Husk exclaimed with actual concern, almost dropping a fresh glass of whiskey.
The proud and arrogant radio demon continued his mockery of caring about the situation with blatant disregard in how he checked his claws, acting as if he hadn't just sentenced someone to their doom.
"I saw an oppurtunity and took advantage. It's common strategy among demons such as myself."
Alastor watched as the fury in Charlie's eyes widen and wondered just how deep the emotion she and vaggie shared when it came to the safety of their resident human.
"Quite the anger from you, Charlie. I wonder what fuels you so much about that boy."
"This is fucking bad." Angel paced around the room and muttered to himself the consequences before directing his worry into anger towards the overlord. "If Valentino gets ahold of him it's gonna be a fucking nightmare."
Alastor looked at him half-amusedly but then rolled his eyes at the panicking spider demon while Charlie and vaggie shook in place.
"I'm sure Noctis can handle a little—"
Alastor didn't get the chance to finish as Angel Dust took him by his shirt and got right in right in his face. He could hear the fabric of his shirt tearing from the quivering grip Angel had him in as the worry exploded into unshed tears.
"You don't fucking get!" Angel Dust had snapped and pressed Alastor against the wall. "It's not Vox or Velvette we have to worry about. Valentino is the twisted one. He won't take no for answer if he gets close to Noctis. He will corrupt him, turn him into a toy by force if he has too. He doesn't play the rules of soul ownership like you twisted fucks!"
"What are you talking about?" Charlie asked sharply, unaware like her friends of Sir Pentious staring at the tv in the lounge room as it buzzed and flickered.
Alastor had quite enough of being manhandled and started to display static and darkness as a means of intimidation.
"Unhand me now you little—"
"That's how he owns half of his slaves!" Angel screamed at the princess after shoving Alastor away. "Half the deals he made he did by forcing them to make impossible choices. He doesn't play by the rules, he will even put a gun to your head to own your soul or just kill you!"
Charlie and Vaggie lost their hostility toward Alastor as the words from Angel echoed in their mind and played a dark imagination of Noctis as a slave to Valentino, serving in various positions whether by force or reluctance.
Vaggie lowered her spear as Charlie was back to normal without her horns or flaming hair.
"Tell me your joking." Charlie intertwined her fingers together with hope in her eyes that Angel was joking.
Unfortunately the only answer that came from Angel Dust was silence before Pentious returnes from the lounge room with a worried look about him.
"I hate to interrupt—" he froze at all eyes on him now. "But your friend is on tv."
Everyone put away their animosity toward the radio demon and bolted to the lounge room with barely missing the snake demon from being trampled. The channel was clearly being broadcast from the tower and now displaying clearly of Noctis in his new appearance.
"Oh shit." Angel gasped after checking his phone. "Guys, Vox is broadcasting all over the city!"
"He's what!?" Charlie exclaimed and felt her heart pause for a moment to the terrifying realization of Noctis' existence.
Now all of hell knew of their human being known across the realm, increasing the potential dangers from all demons.
"Hello sinners!" Vox yelled enthusiastically. "Welcome to a special broadcast with our newest friend and member of The Vees— A human!"
"Look!" Angel exclaimed and turned his phone screen for everyone to see.
Charlie reached into her pocket and took out her phone in disbelief that Vox would pull such a tactic, but her heart nearly stopped the moment she open Voxstagram and clicked on the live view of the show being broadcasted all across hell.
The camera zoomed in on the nervous human as he said only one word to the entire network with his tone evident with fear.
"Charlie...."
To be continued…..
