Muyue shook his head humbly. "Not at all. It's all thanks to your helpful advice and the students being well-behaved."
Though he knew it was just humility, everyone loves a compliment. A smile appeared on Ueda's face, and she shared some of her snacks with Muyue.
Seeing this, Ikeya instantly felt the sting of differential treatment. He had been colleagues with Ueda for two years and had rarely gotten any of her snacks. After grumbling internally about Ueda, he quickly greeted Muyue as well. If this blind date was a success, he would be indebted to Muyue for covering his class for life!
Muyue responded to everyone with a cheerful smile. After chatting for a bit, he took out a brush and ink he had prepared earlier and started practicing calligraphy. Practicing calligraphy in his free time was one of the few good habits he had developed in his previous life after taking a calligraphy class in college. The lunch break at the Ninja Academy was short, and there was no time to find a place to train.
