Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Beat to Submission

As the fight broke out, Shiyu Uchiha stayed calm and got in one final remark: "By the way, where's your homework notebook? Did all seven of you lose it at the same time? What a joke. Weren't you sent out for punishment today too? Are you trying to fool someone's grandma?"

"Attack!" In the end, Sarutobi Kajin was still too young to think of a proper rebuttal. However, his response was clear—he chose not to keep talking and immediately signaled several of his buddies to attack together, surrounding Shiyu Uchiha.

At his signal, those six formed a semicircle and surrounded him. However, Kajin deliberately held back half a step, using the others as a shield in front of himself. This cowardice naturally deepened Shiyu's disdain toward him, further lowering his opinion of the Sarutobi clan as a whole.

Seeing this, Shiyu no longer wasted words. Confident that he could handle things with just physical combat, he activated his chakra to enhance his body and charged forward with a punch. His two desk mates also joined in the fight but were intercepted by this bastard Kajin. Clearly, Kajin dared not face Shiyu head-on and chose to go after the weaker targets instead.

As the fight began, Shiyu's mind focused intensely, making his reactions three parts sharper than usual.

When he saw an opponent's fist swinging toward him, he grabbed the incoming punch, used the momentum to redirect the attacker's movement, and blocked another person's assault path perfectly.

Then twisting his body, he used the two men in front as living shields, momentarily blocking the third attacker's vision. He then turned around to build momentum and launched a flying kick straight into the stomach of the charging third attacker, sending him crashing onto the ground and temporarily removing him from the fight.

He then quickly took several steps backward, narrowly dodging an attack from three other directions. Then he dashed toward the left, targeting someone who had slightly fallen behind. Using the [Damage-for-Damage Strategy], he endured a punch to his shoulder to seize an opportunity. Delivering a sharp knee strike, he efficiently eliminated another opponent's fighting capability.

Then using the defeated fighter as a weapon, he swung him toward another approaching foe. His shoulder throbbed faintly from the earlier impact, but it wouldn't hinder his subsequent movements—clearly a favorable exchange.

Using his speed once more, he swiftly knocked down another opponent. Now half of the six were already dealt with.

However, the remaining three became very cautious, always moving together. While they couldn't threaten him directly, they also made it difficult for Shiyu to find good opportunities to attack, becoming somewhat tricky to handle. Yet it was only slightly challenging since their synchronized movements consumed far more energy compared to his independent maneuvering.

At this moment, Shiyu glanced over toward Shun Mizutani and Taki Tachibana's direction. He noticed that although Kajin was still somewhat skilled, under the relentless attacks from these two girls who seemed unconcerned about getting injured themselves, he wasn't gaining any advantage at all. Victory seemed far beyond his reach there.

Relieved, Shiyu decided to simply wear down these three remaining opponents gradually.

To conserve both chakra and physical stamina, Shiyu actively avoided direct confrontations, skillfully using his speed and agility to constantly stay on the move. He struck fast while his opponents were slow, wearing them down through continuous mobility.

Two or three minutes later, his opponents' chakra reserves started depleting, their reaction times slowing down significantly. Their previously precise coordination began deteriorating as well.

After all, their current level was nowhere near the point where they could refine chakra during battle. This was a standard skill for Chunin, and even Shiyu Uchiha had only just begun practicing it recently, still having some way to go before success. He hoped to master it by the time he turned ten.

Shiyu Uchiha, seizing an opening against the three of them, threw himself into the fight once again, using a damage-for-damage strategy. He knocked one down, though at the cost of several more injuries on his own body. Then, relying purely on strength, he directly defeated the last two opponents.

Of course, Shiyu's body ended up with many more wounds as a result, though there was a hint of intention behind this. He thought that getting injured like this might actually increase his appeal to the two girls—especially since girls in the Ninja World tended to grow up fast—way faster than normal—and these injuries were for their sake after all.

As for which girl's favor he'd gain, Shiyu didn't really care—one of them was enough. Shiyu said he wasn't after both of them anyway—just one was sufficient.

Then, with a victorious air about him, he strolled toward Sarutobi Kajin, who was still locked in combat with Shun Mizutani and Taki Tachibana, glaring at him like a predator sizing up its prey, increasing the pressure on his opponent.

When he reached Sarutobi Kajin, Shiyu spoke confidently: "Sarutobi Kajin, do you still want to fight?" trying to pile on even more pressure.

Seeing this, how could Sarutobi dare continue? He quickly replied, "This round goes to you. I'll apologize to these two classmates, and we'll let this matter drop here. Does that sound okay?"

Though not entirely satisfied, Shiyu didn't plan to push further either. He hadn't really intended to beat up Sarutobi along with the rest of them—after all, what if those six injured students needed help afterward? Would he have to find a teacher himself to take care of them?

And if all seven of them ended up injured, they might fall into the classic "suffering the same fate" syndrome—feeling mutual sympathy in misfortune—potentially strengthening their bond. Shiyu had no intention of giving them that chance, so he decided it was time to start sowing some seeds of discord among them.

Then, after glancing at Shun Mizutani and Taki Tachibana and seeing they had no objections either, he gave Sarutobi a slight nod while warning, "I hope you don't go back on your word."

Sarutobi hurriedly made promises, even swearing upon the sky to convince Shiyu and the other two.

Then, in a very cool manner, Shiyu took Shun Mizutani and Taki Tachibana away from the scene to an open space. Although the two girls looked quite disheveled by now, deep inside they overflowed with happiness—visible on their faces, pain completely forgotten.

Shiyu pulled out a jar of ointment and said, "Family secret medicinal remedy—why don't you two try it too?"

"Thank you so much, Shiyu-kun! (an honorific used for male peers in the Ninja World) You really think of everything—you're such a considerate person," both girls thanked him, then applied the ointment themselves, followed by Shiyu doing the same.

After a while, feeling the coolness of the ointment soothing their pains, the conversation gradually ceased.

After sending the two girls home, Shiyu also gave them the remaining ointment, saying that they'd need to apply it a few more times for a full recovery. He had plenty more at home. Then, he headed back himself.

However, they didn't know that after they left, Sarutobi Kajin was still trying to figure out how to properly handle his several so-called "close friends" when a teacher approached—it was the principal himself.

The principal then spoke bluntly, "You students really went overboard this time. A sparring match shouldn't have ended like this—with everyone knocked out cold. It was just plain reckless."

Obviously, the principal held a terrible impression of Sarutobi Kajin. After all, his performance had been nothing like that of a qualified teammate. He was even considering writing an official reprimand in Kajin's file, but since Kajin came from the Hokage's clan, he decided to give him one last chance.

Kajin opened his mouth, wanting to explain, but couldn't find the right words. He already knew what the teacher meant—he was clearly trying to frame what had happened. And being sharp-witted, Kajin even suspected that the teacher had probably been watching the whole thing from the start.
