When Morgan activated Eradicator Epidemic Virus, Lovely Labrynth vanished. Infinite Impermanence's target was gone, so its effect fizzled—Ritter had wasted a hand trap. Worse, the Virus meant for the next three turns he couldn't use Spells or Traps. Any he drew would be destroyed.
Ritter glanced at his hand: two Spells, two monsters. If Morgan had declared Spells, the cost would be huge.
"By Eradicator Epidemic Virus, I declare Spells!"
His two Spells were destroyed instantly. Ritter ground his teeth, no longer the charming figure he had been. One was a Fusion Spell, key to his combo, now gone.
The crowd murmured. Even Akiyama laughed out loud, delighted to see Ritter collapse in front of everyone.
The chain continued. With Lovely gone before Infinite Impermanence resolved, its destruction effect still triggered, forcing Ritter to discard another card at random. He was left with just one monster.
The spectators gasped. Morgan had slashed his hand down to nearly nothing on the first turn.
But Ritter's graveyard was loaded. Four Shaddoll monsters triggered. One, Shaddoll Dragon, targeted Morgan's Field Spell.
"I activate Shaddoll Dragon! When sent to the Graveyard by effect, destroy 1 Spell/Trap! I destroy your Labrynth Labyrinth!"
The dragon's silhouette appeared and shattered the great silver fortress. Ritter finally felt some relief—cutting off that synergy was critical.
Other Shaddolls resolved. Another Dragon appeared, and Ritter added Shaddoll Beast to hand.
Meanwhile, Morgan's Ariana returned from the Graveyard thanks to Labrynth Labyrinth's second effect. She also revived Labrynth Stovie Torbie, which Special Summoned itself when a Trap removed a monster.

Her field was patched again despite losing Lovely. Ariana also searched Labrynth Chandraglier for more Trap recursion.
Yet, Ritter wasn't finished. He activated Fairy Tail - Snow from his Graveyard, banishing 7 cards to revive it. On Summon, it flipped Ariana face-down. Not a big loss, but annoying.
Then he Normal Summoned Water Enchantress of the Temple. A blue-haired mage girl appeared.

Morgan's eyes narrowed. Ritter was running the Adventurer engine, too? Grass Shaddoll Adventure—an odd mix.
She dismissed the thought. Whoever built his Deck, her job was still to win.
Ritter pressed on. From his Graveyard, he banished Shaddoll Construct alongside another Shaddoll to Special Summon Shaddoll Dragon in face-up Defense. It couldn't trigger again, however, it gave him material.
"I use Shaddoll Dragon and Fairy Tail - Snow to set the Link Circuit!"
Morgan stiffened. A Link-2—there were many generic options.
"Link Summon! Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy!"
Morgan's face darkened. This monster could revive a DARK from her Graveyard. And indeed—
"I activate Dharc the Dark Charmer's effect! I Special Summon your Lovely Labrynth from your Graveyard!"
Lovely returned on Ritter's side. He smiled, pleased with himself.
Anyhow, Morgan's set Torrential Tribute was waiting. She would wipe his field.
Still, Ritter wasn't done. He used Water Enchantress and Dark Charmer for another Link-2.
"Link Summon! Predaplant Verte Anaconda!"
The familiar green serpent appeared. Morgan seized up… Was he really running 'that', too?
