Sorry for the late upload. I have been getting ready for the new school year, so I took the last two weeks off for that. I hope you understand. Anyway, let's get into this new chapter.
Chapter 5
Aura Of The King
Inside the village
Right as the rubble was about to crush Blade and company, a bright honey-gold beam shot out from Blade, repelling the debris away from him, his family, and Orphita. The beam seemed to reach the heavens; it was visible from Otogakure in the Land of Sound.
If one traced the beam back from four thousand miles* into the sky, back to the ground, they would find that it came from the glabella of a certain one-year-old child. The beam of what looked like light was just the condensed aura of Blade, which came from his body naturally.
The beam of aura reached a couple of thousand miles into the sky, produced five million lumens, and only lasted a few short seconds. In those short seconds, Blade's glabella started to hurt from the massive amount of aura spilling out from it. Not only did it hurt Blade, it also injured the retinas of the people around him. But it was not permanent; it only burned for ten seconds at most.
"Fuck, my glabella's hurting terribly! I hope no one else is hurt." Thought Blade as he was dealing with a pain that was enough to knock a grown man unconscious.
Once the beam of aura faded from sight, Kaizer, being the strongest, was the first to open his eyes and realize that the debris had been pushed away from what he thought was a beam of light. He then quickly checked on Ranni, Orphita, and Blade. Upon checking on them, he saw that the two girls were fine, but they were just dealing with the side effects of having a five-million-lumen beam of light appear right in front of them.
For Blade, he was worse off; first, he was exuding an aura that made even a trained Jōnin want to genuflect. Blade was also unconscious, with a slight burn mark on his glabella. The mark resembled an eight-pointed star* the mark was deep, about two inches into his skin, even leaving a mark on his bones.
"Oh my, Ranni, can you treat Blade? He has a nasty burn mark; it looks deep."
"Sure, I'll use Healing Technique."
Once she finished healing Blade, his mark quickly became a deep scar that still resembled an eight-pointed star. It looked ominous, as if when Blade willed it, a monster or terrifying power would crawl from it. The flesh resembled that of a burnt piece of meat.
Orphita looked at the unconscious Blade in trepidation of his kingly aura, and in fear of him never awakening from his slumber. But Ranni, a former medical-nin, and Kaizer, a strong Jōnin, reassured her that Blade was only unconscious and wasn't seriously hurt.
"Don't worry, honey, Blade is fine, he is just…exhausted," Ranni told Orphita
Kaizer looked at Blade a little closer and saw there were some remnants of a high-level seal on his forehead. This gravely shocked Kaizer as he had never thought his son would be able to replicate a seal from his study.
Once realizing that the seal was to seal the mysterious power that exploded from Blade's forehead, Kaizer applied a different seal, which was a higher level than the one that Blade placed on himself. The one Blade used could only last for six hours, but the one that Kiazer had applied was configured to be used for half a day.
Once the seal was applied, Kaizer picked Blade up and started to carry him as they continued to the shelter.
After about thirty minutes, Blade woke up, which shocked everyone since he shouldn't have woken up for another hour at the earliest.
"Blade, are you feeling okay?"
"Yes, father."
Ranni checked Blade out quickly and saw no abnormalities, so she gave Kaizer the green light to set Blade down. Once Blade was back on the ground, Orphita ran over with tears and a worried look in her eyes. She had been crying the whole time that Blade was out. Blade hugged her to put her at ease.
They started their travels to the shelter once again. Along the way, Kaizer asked Blade,
"Why did you place a seal on you? And such a strong one at that. Why did you not tell us about it?"
"I placed a seal on me to hold in the aura that I exude, that is why Anbu were surveying our neighborhood. I was able to place it on me because I have a giant chakra pool, and because of your study. I did not tell you about it because if I did, you might have tried to train me hard, or tell the Hokage."
"I see, well, once this all is over, I will teach you how to use your chakra, and I'll teach you some fūinjutsu so that you can seal it better than you have been doing. Also, I won't tell the Hokage or anyone. I will also not train you past what I believe you can handle. Also, when and how did you become so good at speaking?"
"Thank you, father. Also, the reason that I can speak so well is that I am a quick learner, and I picked it up from you and mom."
"Okay, are you alright to walk now?"
"Yes, I am."
Blade walked beside Orphita; they were between the two adults. They walked through many streets, avoiding burning buildings and falling debris.
During the walk, Blade looked around for places to visit once he became old enough to go out by himself. He was also looking for places to sleep so that he could hide from school. Blade chuckled at himself for thinking of school already.
"I've already gone through twenty-two years of school, and now I will be forced through another four years of schooling. Heh," Blade kept looking around as he lampooned himself.
The group of adults, and the two children, finally made it to the shelter. Kaizer knocked three times with different fingers. This was a code that civilians were given in case of invasion so that they could determine friend from foe.
Thirty seconds went by waiting for the door to open, but nothing happened, so Kaizer decided to kick it down. The first thing that entered the transmigrator's eyes was bodies upon bodies piled throughout the room. Blade quickly covered Orphita's eyes so she did not look at the indescribable scene, as it most likely would have scarred her for her life, albeit might be a short one, as they lived in a ninja world.
Kaizer quickly put his guard up so as to protect his wife and the two children, but he saw nothing but the piles of dead bodies.
"Stay out here with the kids while I check out what is going on in here."
"Okay, honey, make sure to be safe."
Kaizer kissed Ranni before he went inside the bloody room that felt like a slaughterhouse.
In the room, there was blood covering the room from the ceiling to the floor, and blood was dripping at a moderate rate. Kaizer looked around the ground to see what had happened. He saw many different causes of death. Some were stabbed through the chest with some of their organs still trying to operate, and some had cuts on different parts of their bodies, including the wrists, ankles, nape, throat, stomach, and many more. There were a couple who had their hearts carved out and placed in a corner covered in corpses and blood. Some had their eyes poked or scraped out, while the rest had been burnt alive with a fire-style jutsu.
It was obvious to Kaizer that these bodies were killed elsewhere and stored here. Once he finished looking at the ground, he finally looked up and saw bodies hanging, some by their feet, others by their arms, but most were hanging by their necks. It surprised Kaizer enough to make him nearly fall back.
Kaizer turned to leave, but he saw a man in a black robe with a hole in the stomach area. The man also wore a mask that was slightly hanging off his face. The mask had lines that looked like a lion slashed at the mask, but instead of indents, it left black marks of where it swiped. The hole in the robe had blood dripping from it; it was obvious this masked man was injured.
Kaizer quickly saw what was in the mysterious man's hands; it was three people: a man, a child, and a woman. They looked like a family. As soon as Kaizer saw this, he jumped back and used Water Release: Great Gunshot, but it went right through the masked man. Kaiser threw another jutsu, Earth Release: Rock Pillar Spears. It once again went through the man, which shocked Kaizer, but he was not ready for what was about to happen.
Once Kaizer's last jutsu finished, the masked man threw the three dead bodies at Kaizer, which made Kaizer think whether he should catch the bodies or let them fall and try to attack again. Kaizer decided to catch them. Once Kaizer set them on the ground and looked up, no one was there; it was like the man he had just seen never existed. This greatly confused Kaizer as he looked around to see if the masked man was trying to sneak up on him, but he saw nothing.
"Let's go to another shelter, this one is unhabitable," Kaizer said as he walked up the steps from the room.
The next shelter was about a mile or two* away, so they decided to run there so they didn't run the risk of being hurt by being outside for too long. They quickly arrived at the shelter uninjured in less than six minutes. They knocked on the door, and within three seconds, the door opened, and they were welcomed in warmly. This made Ranni feel less anxious as there were no bloody room or corpses spread out in the room.
"Phew, thank god there aren't any bodies this time, I was scared." This thought flashed through her head when the door opened in a matter of seconds.
