When Nitya finally woke up, everything felt unreal. A soft bed, the beeping of machines.
And Ayansh - slumped beside her, asleep, holding her hand.
She whispered, "Ayansh..."
His eyes flew open. He looked at her like she was a miracle and without saying anything, she hugged him, tightly, desperately.
"I...I'm Nitya," she whispered.
"I remember everything. "
Ayansh smiled through the tears forming in his eyes. " I've been waiting to hear that."
Later that evening, as she sat up slowly, Nitya looked at him and asked,
" Can I... come with you? I can't go back home yet. "
He didn't hesitate.
" My home is yours too. "
The black car rolled through tall gates into a private estate. But what caught Nitya off guard wasn't the mansion-
It was the people waiting at the door.
Ayansh held her hand gently as they stepped out.
His mother stood at the entrance, holding an aarti thali.
Without a word, she stepped forward and circled it in front of Nitya's face, removing every shadow of evil -
as if she is welcoming a daughter, not a stranger.
Then she placed a hand on Nitya's head, smiling. " Welcome home, beta. "
Nitya stood frozen. No one had ever done that for her. Not even her own mother.
Ayansh's younger brother, ' Yug ' grinned.
"So you're the reason he never slept properly these days ?"
His father simply gave a respectful nod but his eyes said enough.
Power, grace and approval.
Inside, Nitya felt something strange. She was surrounded by strength, wealth, even danger -
but in that moment....
she had never felt safer.
And though she didn't say it loud, she knew one thing :
Ayansh wasn't just her saviour.
He was becoming her home.
