A blazing meteor streaked across the heavens, trailing golden fire as Vegeta dove. At that instant, he unleashed the full force of his Super Saiyan power. His body shot downward like a thunderbolt. Both fists burned with explosive energy.
Boom!
His fists, like twin hammers, smashed into Super Broly's chest.
The impact resounded, but Broly didn't even flinch. Unscathed and unshaken, he only bared his teeth, a guttural growl rumbling back against the storm of Ki.
Vegeta's eyes narrowed. To say he wasn't shocked would be a lie.
'This transformation… it wasn't the same as theirs.'
'There was a faint echo of the Z-era Broly he once remembered, but this? This was something far more terrifying.'
Vegeta didn't waste another second as scarlet fur blazed across his body as he roared, transforming straight into Super Saiyan 4.
He wasn't like Kakarot. He had no patience for trial and error. If this monster was beyond ordinary… then Vegeta would fight beyond his limits from the start.
"Super Saiyan 4?!" Goku's eyes widened.
He hadn't expected Vegeta to skip straight to that form. That alone proved how dangerous this Broly was.
"In that case, let's wipe out his energy first!" Goku declared.
Golden lightning crackled as he too ascended to Super Saiyan 4.
"Kamehameha!!"
His voice thundered across the sky. A massive blue beam erupted forward, intertwining with Super Little Cell's surging green ki blast.
Crackle, crackle!
The collision shook the heavens. Lightning split the air where the two forces clashed, bending reality itself. With the combined might of Goku and Super Little Cell, the destructive waves canceled out.
The sky turned blinding white.
The blasts disintegrated midair, sparing the earth from annihilation.
Goku shielded his eyes, blinded by the flash.
When the light finally dimmed, he looked up, only to see Vegeta and Super Broly locked in a brutal, midair battle that shook the very sky.
Despite their size difference, Vegeta showed no signs of being at a disadvantage. His fists collided with Super Broly's again and again, sparks flying with every clash. But soon, something strange caught Vegeta's eye.
This hulking brute… he had no fighting technique at all. Broly was relying purely on raw, overwhelming strength.
Every time Vegeta sent him flying, Broly came charging back in the exact same way.
And yet, Vegeta realized something unsettling.
This wasn't blind rage.
No, Broly hadn't lost himself entirely. He was learning.
Each lunge was faster. Each strike was heavier.
"This guy… he's testing me?" Vegeta muttered under his breath, irritation flashing across his face.
His crimson aura roared higher, shaking the very air.
Whoosh!
Vegeta vanished, reappearing behind Broly in an instant. His legs blurred as he delivered a flurry of bone-crushing kicks, each one hammering into Broly's chest.
The massive warrior staggered backward, forced into defense. Seizing the opening, Vegeta spread both hands. A colossal sphere of blazing yellow energy condensed between his palms, his Final Explosion.
"Disappear!!"
He hurled the blast straight at Broly, only to catch a glimpse of a familiar figure lurking at the edge of the battlefield.
'Frieza.'
Vegeta's eyes narrowed before a sharp smirk tugged at his lips. Without hesitation, he adjusted his aim, redirecting Broly's body toward that wretched face.
"Hmph. I don't know how you came back to life… but just looking at you pisses me off."
The Final Explosion engulfed Broly, hurling his massive frame downward like a cannonball.
Boom!
Vegeta flashed ahead, his aura tearing through the air as he struck again. A devastating kick smashed into Broly's side, accelerating his descent. Like a flaming meteor, Super Broly plummeted toward Frieza's position.
Frieza, however, only chuckled. His sinister smile widened as the shadow of Broly loomed closer.
"Heh-heh-heh… Vegeta, you think you can play tricks before this Lord?" Frieza's body twisted sharply as he vaulted upward, reappearing in an instant behind the plummeting Broly.
He caught the giant midair, but the moment his hands touched Broly, a shiver ran through him. A strange, violent pressure swelled at his back.
Broly turned, eyes blazing, glaring straight at him.
Frieza's smirk faltered. He raised his hands defensively, voice cracking into a false plea.
"Broly San! It's me, Frieza! Don't you remember? That one---" he jabbed a trembling finger at Vegeta, "that's the man your father wanted revenge against!"
But Broly, teetering at the edge of madness, no longer cared about words. His mind registered only fragments: Vegeta… revenge…
The rest drowned in fury. His aura flared, exploding outward like a storm.
With no warning, Broly's colossal fist slammed into Frieza.
"Wha---?!"
Frieza staggered back, eyes widening in shock. This monster wasn't listening. He had completely lost control. The Emperor's lips twisted into a cold sneer.
"Heh-heh-heh… you dare raise your hand against Lord Frieza? Then I'll show you what true terror is."
Golden light burst around him, scorching the battlefield with divine radiance. The full might of Golden Frieza shook the sky.
Bang--!
He caught Broly's next punch head-on. For a moment, it seemed effortless.
"Hmph. Is that all?" Frieza muttered under his breath.
But then, his confidence shattered as a tidal wave of pain rippled through his body. Broly's strength wasn't steady, it was rising. Every strike grew heavier, every impact more crushing.
Frieza's expression twisted, his smirk collapsing into a grimace.
Something was very wrong.
"AAAAHHHHHH!!!"
Broly roared, a primal howl that seemed to split the clouds from the sky. The shockwave alone shook the battlefield, rattling even the gods who watched from afar. Frieza's tail flicked nervously. His golden aura sputtered under the crushing pressure.
"Damn it!!" he snarled, veins bulging across his temples. "I am the Emperor of the Universe, Lord Frieza! How could I possibly lose to a filthy Saiyan monkey!?"
With desperation fueling his rage, Frieza's muscles swelled, golden flames blazing as he unleashed every ounce of power against the beast.
But then, something unexpected shook the battlefield. Broly's body swelled further, his muscles writhing unnaturally as if alive.Golden hair shimmered, streaks of green flickering across it. His aura boiled, shifting into an ominous hue.
Frieza's eyes widened, horror creeping into his voice. He knew exactly what was coming.
"W-what…? No…!"
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
The roar seemed to split the clouds from the sky. Each cry grew louder, wilder, until finally, Broly's hair turned completely green.
His aura erupted, emerald flames engulfing the sky.
The transformation was complete. From this moment forward, it was clear: Frieza was about to be beaten without mercy.
Bang----! Bang---! Bang--!
Broly's fists crackled with power, raining down in a relentless storm. Frieza had no room to counter. His golden form was battered, broken, and overwhelmed.
Vegeta could hardly believe his eyes.
He could sense it, Frieza's power was far beyond what it had been ten years ago. And yet, even that strength was meaningless before this monster.
"Cheh…" Vegeta spat, his crimson aura surging like wildfire.
"Your opponent is me, Broly!!"
With a thunderous roar, Vegeta ascended, his body exploding with power as he transformed into Super Saiyan 4 Full Power.
His figure shot across the sky, colliding head-on with Broly's emerald blaze.
For the briefest instant, irony twisted across Frieza's bruised face.
The man he had cursed day and night… the man he had sworn to kill with his own hands… was now the one stepping in to save him.
Vegeta's fierce onslaught momentarily pushed Broly back, relieving Frieza of the crushing pressure.
"Vegeta…?" Frieza croaked, blood dripping down his chin. Disbelief burned in his eyes.
But his relief was short-lived.
Vegeta whirled, fury etched into every feature, and launched a brutal kick that sent Frieza crashing away.
"Don't be an idiot!" Vegeta roared, his voice thundering through the battlefield. "Don't get the wrong idea! This monster can only be defeated by me!!"
