Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh--!
Son Goku could feel the raw power of the Saiyan bloodline surging within him.
He looked at his own body in disbelief.
"This is amazing, Vegeta! I've finally reached Super Saiyan 4 too!"
But just as Goku finished his sentence, another crimson silhouette began flashing around him at lightning speed.
Boom----!
With a heavy, muffled crash, the entire Kaiō God Realm began to tremble, and Goku's sharp gaze locked onto the figure opposite him, which carried Vegeta's silhouette.
At that moment, their fists collided in perfect symmetry, creating a straight beam of force.
Vegeta's excited face filled Goku's vision.
"Kakarot, I knew you'd pull it off. Now, let's have a proper fight!"
Goku's expression shifted. This was the battle he'd been waiting for. For the entire past year, he had trained for this moment.
"Then let's do this, Vegeta!!"
In an instant, the Kaiō God Realm was thrown into chaos. Crackling combat sounds echoed nonstop, shaking the very skies.
Elder Kaiō exploded in frustration: "You two brats! Cut it out already!!"
But the two, burning with battle spirit, pretended not to hear, continuing their fierce clash in midair.
Nearby, the Kaiō Shin duo were trembling with fear.
"They're too strong!" Shin said with eyes shut tight, unable to even look directly at them.
Kibito clung tightly to Shin's robes. "We're doomed! We're gonna get blown away!"
Suddenly, a protective barrier appeared in front of the three of them.
Trunks appeared, scratching his head awkwardly. "Hehe, sorry about that. Dad and Goku Ojisan are always like this."
With the barrier in place, the three finally calmed down.
"Ugh, my poor old life. With those two maniacs around, I don't know how much longer I can survive," Elder Kaiō grumbled.
"Don't worry, Elder Kaiō Sama. We've got the Dragon Balls, right?" Trunks said with an embarrassed laugh.
But Elder Kaiō's face immediately darkened again.
He muttered furiously, "You little brat! Are you mocking me aren't you?! I'm a god, you know!"
"And! The Dragon Balls, those things shouldn't be used too often!"
Elder Kaiō's words suddenly gave Trunks a jolt.
(What does he mean...? Could it be... the Evil Dragons?)
As Trunks' thoughts drifted, Goku and Vegeta's battle reached its climax. Suddenly, a deafening boom rang out in the sky.
"Final Flash!!"
"Kamehameha!!"
Crackle----!
Golden and blue energy beams erupted from their hands, spiraling upward like two divine dragons racing toward the heavens.
In the blink of an eye, the two beams collided mid-air.
They twisted and intertwined, merging into a massive sphere of pure energy. The energy ball radiated a blinding light, too dazzling for anyone to look at directly. As power continued to build, arcs of lightning began crackling from where the beams met, sizzling like electric whips in the sky.
The arcs danced through the air like tiny bolts of lightning, filling the space with crackling static.
"It's so blinding!!!" Kaiō Shin cried out, shielding his eyes.
Boom boom boom-----!
Finally, the explosion erupted.
From within the smoke, a battered and bruised figure emerged. Son Goku was gasping for air, clutching his shoulder, and, with great effort, gave a thumbs up.
"Vegeta… this time, you win."
With that, Son Goku collapsed to the ground. Having only just transformed into Super Saiyan 4, he was naturally no match for Vegeta.
Seeing this, Kibito quickly rushed toward Goku with large, urgent strides.
Placing both hands on Goku's body, he muttered softly, "At last… it's over. Goku San, let me heal you."
"Thanks…" Goku replied in gratitude, but in the next second, his pupils suddenly widened.
As soon as his body finished healing, he abruptly stood up. He wasn't the only one with such a reaction; Trunks and Vegeta also looked surprised.
"There are more energy signatures on Earth!" Goku exclaimed.
…
Just moments earlier, on Earth:
Kami had passed down his title and responsibilities to Dende, who used his abilities to upgrade Earth's Dragon Balls once more.
This upgrade increased the number of wishes to three.
All the people who had previously been killed by the Androids were brought back to life.
In addition, Dende erased the fear and trauma that had accumulated in humanity's hearts over the years.
Earth once again became a peaceful place, as though nothing had ever happened.
Somewhere in the vast universe, A massive spaceship was cruising through the stars.
Standing by the window was a short, ugly blue alien, his face barely able to contain his excitement. This individual was none other than Sorbet, the fanatical follower of Frieza.
Even after Frieza's death, Sorbet had never stopped following him. In fact, he had reassembled the crumbling remnants of the Frieza Force.
"Are you sure about this, Tagoma?!" Sorbet turned to the tall, stick-insect-like man beside him, his tone filled with disbelief.
Tagoma stood upright and responded confidently: "I am absolutely certain, Commander Sorbet!"
"One year ago, Lord Frieza, Lord Cooler, and King Cold all reappeared on a planet called Earth. Yes, the very same planet where Lord Frieza once fell."
"Lord Frieza seemed even stronger than before, but for some unknown reason, he disappeared again."
Tagoma's words struck Sorbet like lightning. Of everything he had said, Sorbet had only truly registered one thing:
Frieza had become even stronger.
"As expected of Lord Frieza! I will follow him forever! We must restore the glory of the Frieza Force!"
"Let's go! We're heading to Earth!"
Sorbet became visibly manic after hearing the news.
But Tagoma quickly cautioned, "Commander Sorbet, Lord Frieza has disappeared again… He's no longer on Earth. It's very likely that he…"
The warning hit Sorbet like a splash of cold water, calming him down a little.
"However, according to reliable sources, the Dragon Balls have reappeared. Back on that planet Namek, where Lord Cooler once went, I think we should check it out," Tagoma suggested cautiously.
But Sorbet shook his head.
"No. If that old guy could kill himself once, then he can kill himself a second time too."
"Then... are you saying we go to Earth?" Tagoma asked.
Sorbet stood up, a flicker of dread in his eyes.
"Earth? That's even worse. That's the last place we should go!" Tagoma shivered.
"Then... should we still revive Lord Frieza?" Sorbet let out a sinister laugh.
"Of course we should revive Lord Frieza! Only Lord Frieza can lead us to glory again!"
Tagoma wanted to ask more questions, but Sorbet had already turned away, silently piloting the ship on his own.
