Chapter 46 - Truth Behind the Veil (12)

Sixth Floor, Devala Headquarters.

The spikes have receded… Is Meredy alright?

Ultear gazed at the newly riddled gaps within the ground, wondering if the fight below has reached its conclusion. Although she believed in Meredy's strength, concern was still understandable on her end.

Both her and Vandis detected the surge of Ethernano that was coming towards their way in the heat of battle, which caused them to cease their offensives temporarily to avoid getting stabbed instead.

The aftermath of the spell naturally added to the destruction of the floor, when it was already being destroyed by the collision of their magic power.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Ultear clicked her tongue as she felt the incoming pressure of another series of attacks, prompting her to leap sideways to dodge them.

Crash! Crash!

Two streams of water broke through a few rows of cubicles with fierce momentum, aiming to subdue the target in an overwhelming fashion.

She swiftly glanced at the culprit who observed her every move, already preparing to counter in exchange.

Not counting the streams that almost grazed her, there were two more surrounding Vandis. A total of four seemingly ordinary bodies of water encircled his being, yet each one rippled with powerful aura.

Ever since the start of the fight, it's been a constant back and forth between them. They have been in a stalemate for the most part, especially Vandis who acted passive the whole time.

However, Ultear sensed the slight shift in his demeanor the moment Nullpudding's spell interrupted their battle, so it was best to heighten her concentration even further.

But before she could even follow up with her counter---!

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The water streams began to change their trajectory, trailing across the air to chase the woman that was a bit far from their intended range.

"Cheeky bastard." Ultear cursed softly while looking at the relentless strike that never slowed down in the slightest.

She circulated her magic power, then motioned her right hand that was holding the orb.

"Flash Forward!"

Dozens of orbs manifested afterwards, their smooth and transparent surfaces reflected scenes that seemed to be instances of future possibilities.

Ultear swung her arms in the next moment, launching all of them to intercept the water streams' path.

BOOM! BOOM!

Wrnggg! Wrnggg!

A clash between their spells shook the atmosphere again, wreaking havoc across throughout that particular area of the floor. Fragments of debris alongside splinters of furniture were scattering everywhere, producing dust clouds in the process.

I see… He can also adjust their output individually. Ultear managed to observe the instance of contact between her orbs and the water streams before they canceled each other out.

When she got caught off-guard by that singular water stream that carried her upwards, its substance was way stronger than the ones being sent at her presently.

Ultear assumed Vandis was holding back so he could pry information from her. This was definitely an opening that could be utilized, given that she was aware of how it was nearly impossible to win against him.

She swiftly took the initiative after reaching a conclusion, letting her orb float on the side.

Ultear extended her arms in a widespread manner to focus on the flying debris that were still in the air.

"Stasis."

She expanded her magic's range to at least fifty meters, successfully stopping them in an instant.

There was no concept of velocity under the influence of the Arc of Time, because time itself is a fundamental part for every living and non-living thing.

Poof!

"That's a neat trick you've got there." An amused voice sounded from a fading dust cloud, slowly revealing the figure of Vandis who was encircled by his water streams.

As soon as he spoke, Ultear made her move without hesitation.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

All types of debris flew like a canopy of speeding bullets towards him, whether they were small or big in size. The amount was enough to form a pincer formation, which meant that every known angle is being potentially covered.

Vandis serenely gazed at the scene, not showing any signs of panic. He transitioned into a defensive stance by pivoting his foot, then lifted his hands in fluid motion.

The dark wizard waited until the first batch arrived within his vicinity…

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

He immediately began once they reached it, launching a flurry of counters that seemed soft yet steady.

Crash! Crash! Crash!

It wasn't the familiar result of devastation that one would expect when dealing against multiple of physical objects gunning for an individual with raw intensity.

Vandis maneuvered through every single piece of debris as if it was a relaxing stroll, combined with movements that flowed alongside his streams that matched his pace.

Much to the brief awe of Ultear, a considerable portion of them were being redirected and thrown aside, while some got shattered directly if they slipped past his range.

There wasn't any complex ability in play.

This was just a pure display of refined skill.

"Forcing Nullpudding to unleash one of his strongest spells… Your companion is very strong for her age." Vandis charged while having some spare energy to engage in small talk. "But even if he lost, it would be useless since I'm here."

"Did you seriously think that you could intimidate me with presence alone?" Ultear regained her focus as she jumped backwards to increase the distance. "I've heard countless threats that are way better than your pitiful attempt."

"Well, maybe having such a sharp tongue negated the sensation of fear inside of you." Vandis chuckled. "Although I won't let the both of you escape anyway, so surrendering peacefully is still on the table."

He closed in fast, utilizing his water streams to clear the homing blockade formed from Ultear's spell in front of him.

The debris' numbers continued to dwindle, and not one managed to even scrape the hem of his outfit.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Once Vandis spotted Ultear's figure after dealing with most of the obstacles, he controlled and separated two water streams that were hovering around his body, waving his right hand to hurl them towards her.

"I'm extremely grateful for the offer, Guild Master Vandis." Ultear scoffed as her left eye turned into miniature crimson clock. She didn't seem fazed by the incoming water streams, and only unleashed more of her magical pressure in response.

"Restore."

Her powerful voice rippled across the floor, which brought their surroundings to a sudden halt. The aura of ancient time enveloped the entire place, putting everything inside of its area of effect.

Wrnngg!

That short second pause ended, returning the image of life upon the environment.

A beautiful phenomenon occurred afterwards, actually making Vandis lose his usual calm expression due to shock.

The office furniture repaired themselves.

The pieces of rubble glued themselves back on the walls and ground.

The shattered glass connected themselves perfectly.

All were reversed to their original states.

"... You're full of surprises, Former Councilor." Vandis' features glinted with desire. "I wasn't sure about it previously, yet this spell confirmed my suspicions."

His momentum stopped momentarily as he got trapped by the now intact objects, prompting him to destroy them again in the process.

He swiftly swiped both of his arms, modifying the trajectory of the two water streams that burst through the brand new rows of furniture. Each of them glided above the cubicles, and resumed their trail on different directions.

"An individual could live their whole lives without encountering a wizard of bygone Time Magic." Vandis said in an excited tone. "Why not join the guild instead of wandering aimlessly? I'll overlook your actions for infiltrating the private sections, and this includes the young girl too."

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

His two water streams zoomed across the air, threatening to overwhelm the woman who leveraged on the newly reformed furniture for cover.

It was her intention to fix the ruined environment in the first place, so that she could make practical use of it with her magic.

"No thanks." Ultear bluntly refused, summoning another batch of orbs to match the might of the streams. "My current state of freedom maybe a mix of mercy and punishment, but I wouldn't trade it for going back into that kind of world."

"Especially when Meredy is under my care, so don't you dare utter her presence in that scheming tongue of yours." She divided the orb's numbers into three smaller groups, then immediately sent them at the incoming attacks.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Wrnngg! Wrnngg!

The streams exploded alongside the orbs, producing the familiar scene of their magic power colliding with immense force. Chaos erupted as a result, which lasted for a bit.

"Oh? You care for the little girl that much? I'm a bit tempted to switch my target now." Vandis noticed that Ultear hid behind the rows of cubicles that during the ongoing destruction, making him expand his senses to search for her signature.

"Over my dead body!" Ultear's angered response resounded from a certain direction.

"Someone who destroyed and humiliated the council without remorse is playing the role of a parent? Still, I expected that you were already apart of the underworld somehow, since only those from there would dare to do that." Vandis locked in on her supposed location and was about to dash towards it.

"Speculate as much as you want, because that's all your gonna get."

"Opting for the mysterious card, eh? I---!"

Whoosh!

"Hm?" He looked up above to see a lone orb looming over him. However, before he could even shatter it, an abrupt sensation of emptiness appeared beneath his footing.

Vandis quickly switched his attention downwards as he felt himself slightly falling. There were somehow two holes upon where he stood, as if they suddenly decayed without warning.

But then it restored its smooth surface just as fast, erasing the gap once he sank to his ankles.

The dark wizard was now briefly trapped, though he was already on the verge of regaining his posture in the next moment.

Conversely, this temporary delay was enough for Ultear who watched from an opening between cubicles.

Wrrnggg!

The orb on top of Vandis glowed, manifesting more of itself afterwards.

"Luminous Minutes."

All of them descended under her command, swallowing Vandis' figure in the process.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Their landings caved the ground due to the sheer quantity of force, which created quantities of dust clouds as a result. Another display of pandemonium rocked the floor as her attack maintained its relentless suppression.

I can't stop now. Ultear solemnly thought. Unless he's inflicted with at least one notable injury, escape will be extremely difficult. She retracted her real orb to follow up with a new batch.

For someone of Vandis' caliber, any notion of holding back wouldn't be considered. Ever since the start of their fight, she has increased the output of her orbs to boost the effects of her spells.

Courtesy of being the child of Ur, who was offered to become a Wizard Saint, it wasn't that surprising to be filled with inherently high magical power.

Extremely potent to the point where she had to be sent to the Bureau of Magical Development as a kid for a solution due to it harming her body, and it was obvious on how that turned out…

But now that Ultear had grown up with the teachings of Hades, the culmination of what she learned translated to refined means of control.

In fact, during her development throughout the years, every improvement meant that her Ethernano Container would become more and more stable. This naturally healed the potential defects that rampaged within her.

As such, this meant that one of Ultear's strongest traits was her absurd amount of reserves. She could cast multitudes of her spells without worry, something that is a glaring advantage over the average wizard.

Unfortunately for her, this wasn't the case currently.

Poof!

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

!!

It has not been even a short period as the haze parted before her eyes, where it merely showed a pair of water streams darting around to take care of the raining orbs.

She spotted Vandis within the center, who displayed seamless reactions towards the assault.

Crash! Crash! Crash!

Instead of her spell hitting the mark, the dark wizard countered with unrivaled finesse. He either dodged them without struggle, or used his water streams' surfaces to negate their momentum to follow up with juggling throws that engulfed the vicinity.

The soaring orbs were exploding everywhere, alongside those seemingly ordinary streams that sliced and obliterated anything in their way.

"Not a singular scratch again?" Ultear absentmindedly remarked while she already motioned for her next attack, spreading out her new set of orbs to cover numerous paths.

"Flash Forward!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

More destruction happened afterwards: Some orbs intercepted each other, and some collided against the circulating water streams.

Ultear retreated to a safe distance to avoid the fragments of furniture that were just repaired because of her spell, determined to sustain the duration of her offensive by pouring more magic power into each orb she was presently controlling.

"It was a good attempt." Vandis hummed as he continued to chase. "The magic you wield is undoubtedly strong. If it were any other person, then these sort of tactics would've been successful." The light mockery in his tone was evident.

A burst of Ethernano emerged from him, causing the area around him to tremble. That heavy yet oppressive feeling descended upon Ultear, who immediately raised her guard at the sudden action.

She instinctively understood that this upcoming attack of his would be far more powerful than his previous ones.

"Vortex."

Wrrnnng!

Once that was said, one water stream changed its calm demeanor into a rotating wild weapon. It was as if its very essence got modified, suited for the task at hand.

He aimed at Ultear, and launched it without hesitation.

KRRK! CRASH! KRRK! CRASH!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

This lone stream roared with unstoppable velocity, showcasing its immense force that was leagues above what he sent up until now.

Every orb or object that got caught in its path were thrown back with such speed, while they also shattered in the process. Countless pieces of debris followed in its wake, scattering like deadly bullets.

"Stasis!"

Ultear invoked her spell in haste, although it was shorter in range this time. She froze a considerable amount of debris and quickly pulled them towards her to form a crude blockade.

It was impossible to dodge the stream because it trailed too fast, giving her no opportunity to dodge.

Guarding against it head-on was her only option.

BOOOM!

BAM!

"Gughk!"

She gritted her teeth in pain as the water stream broke through with ease, successfully landing a clean hit on her torso.

Even though blockade seemed useless, its fleeting impact created a slight delay. Ultear took advantage of that moment to manifest more orbs to act as the next line of defense.

That really didn't deter the empowered water stream too much, but she barely used its momentum to jump back. Granted this gamble definitely rattled her ribs, at least she wasn't down for the count.

Ultear glanced at the canopy of rooms behind her while getting flung through a multitude of objects, alongside the water stream that continued to chase her like an eager predator.

She circulated her magic power as she endured the excruciating agony, then targeted the wall that got closer and closer.

Ckrrrk!

It opened upon her manipulation, welcoming the time wizard inside.

BAM!

Ultear crashed on a stack of boxes, which made her sigh in relief. However, she didn't forget to follow up by closing the hole in the process.

BOOM!

The water stream obviously rendered her action useless, stabbing through the room with sheer might. Ultear managed to roll away at the last moment and tried to recover her posture quickly.

"Stasis!"

She casted it again to avoid needless injury by the fresh debris surrounding her. After that, her right eye morphed into the familiar shape of a crimson clock.

"Restore!"

Everything went back to normal, save for the stream that was probably extending its reach across farther rooms.

These series of actions were done in short instances, which showcased Ultear's mastery and experience.

He's truly holding back well… She briefly observed the water stream's surface. Why did I even conclude that their range was limited---?!

Swoosh!

Ultear's instincts flared as she ducked the abrupt upwards slash from the body of liquid, cleaving diagonally towards the ceiling.

The gash quickly got repaired by her hand, bringing a slight reprieve to collect her thoughts. She panted for a while and rested a hand on her torso due to the residual pain, before moving again with determination.

Since Vandis still wasn't taking this seriously for the most part, tipping the scales to her favor was a must. It was impossible to win against someone like him, so she focused on prioritizing the objective and Meredy's safety.

"There's no point in hiding." Vandis finally caught up after a few more seconds, using two of his streams as a form of gliding movement.

BOOM!

He punched the wall with his right hand, where his water streams whirled around it as if they were a weapon in itself.

That was quick. Vandis noticed the room was now empty and spotted a repairing gap on one of its walls. Her magic is extremely versatile in this type of environment.

After analyzing for a moment, the other water streams surrounding him turned into the same rotating surfaces that could vanquish every obstacle in sight.

"Fine, I'll go along with the obvious strategy." He lifted one up and launched it with his left hand doing a slashing motion. "Let's test the limits of your reserves, shall we?"

Swoosh!

A thin line of water stretched across an entire hallway section of the floor, producing an azure flash that swept through them like a blur.

Everything paused.

Then in the next second.

BOOOOOOMMM!

The chain reaction that followed was instantaneous, cutting all rooms that fell under its range in twain.

"Tch!" Ultear sweat dropped as she leaped to evade them at the right moment, and landed on a table full of luxurious plant decorations.

She was still only a room away when Vandis increased the potency of his water streams, saved by her sense of danger.

Although anybody could detect that sudden surge of boundless magic power, which would give them goosebumps without question.

Fortunately, Bluenote and Hades molded her perception of what it meant to be truly strong. Ultear maintained her composure, even with the odds stacking against her.

BOOM!

However, the dark wizard wouldn't give her the chance to react, immediately smashing through the wall with his four streams in tow.

"It's always a joy if I fight someone of decent capability, especially when they wield unique magic." Vandis glanced towards his opponent's direction. "Try not to break so easily, okay?"

Whoosh! Whoosh!

A pair of water streams were thrown with great force.

"You don't need to worry about that." Ultear sneered, then lightly stomped on the table.

Krrk! Krrk! Krrk!

The potted plants beneath her footing majestically grew from their stems, alongside sprouting branches that swiftly formed as they intertwined with each other to create a barrier.

Their rising momentum also boosted Ultear upwards, giving her enough time to summon a new set of orbs.

"Incredible… Ancient Magics are indeed manifestations of miracles."

They grew so fast to a degree in which Vandis can't stop himself from being startled. Given that he already expected to be hit with the influence of time, but seeing plants transform into trees within literal seconds was beyond what he bargained for.

BOOM! BOOM!

CRRKK! CRRK!

The water streams collided against the wooden barrier, bringing about countless splinters everywhere. Both bodies of water tore drilled through its surface as if it was paper, and continued to trail the woman above.

Vandis directed the remaining two underneath his soles to utilize them for gliding maneuvers again. He hovered in the air, almost matching the pace of his controlled streams that were wreaking havoc inside the barrier.

Miracles, huh? This is simply a shackle that's constantly plaguing my mind. An etched mark to remind myself of the sins I committed.

Ultear looked down at the incoming pursuit as the growing tree drew near the ceiling, and attempted to slow them down by using her orbs combined with the plethora of branches under Arc of Time's influence.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

"Troublesome." Vandis lightly sighed, staring at the raining mix of attacks that were about to surround him.

Krrrk!

He pulled one of his rampaging water streams within the barrier, then circulated its surface in front of him to welcome the challenge head-on.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

It was a showcase of pure finesse as the dark wizard redirected or shattered all that barred his way.

Whether it would be by the motions of his hands that palmed and punched, or by maneuvering in midair with the assistance of the streams that propelled his gliding, which also allowed him to do sweeping kicks.

Just like previously…

Nothing touched him again.

"Please match your own words with the appropriate expression." Ultear remarked in annoyance.

The ceiling was now within her reach, prompting her to swiftly open a hole to pass through.

She waved her hands to hastily reverse it in succession afterwards, even when she still hasn't landed on the seventh floor's ground.

Boom!

Unfortunately, Vandis won't give her a breather to think up new strategies. The repairing ground exploded as he instantly caught up in the air, striking with his right fist accompanied by his water stream.

BAM!

"Guh!"

Ultear instinctively crossed her arms to block while somehow creating a group of orbs to use as cushion in time, hoping it could absorb a portion of its force.

The weight and oppressive pressure still shook her to the core as she got sent upwards with more momentum, and felt vague cracks from the tremor of her bones.

"I give my respects to those who are truly strong." Vandis chuckled. "It wasn't sarcasm to say the least." His last water stream finally flew through the opening he created, ready to prepare with his follow up.

Wrrngg!

"Huh?" He suddenly sensed a burst of magic power right below his chin, and was about glanced beneath him---!

BAMM!

No matter how strong a human is, there were certain parts that they couldn't improve upon even with all kinds of training. The chin is one of them, where a potential graze can disorient you without question.

What more if it's a magically powered orb?

Vandis immediately got stunned as his blurring vision caught the transparent sphere passing by, which forced him to descend towards the ground to recover.

"That's good to know." Ultear strained herself to observe the success of her surprise attack as she still traveled overhead in the air. "But being lax about it will bite you back in the most unexpected of ways."

Then, she gritted her teeth to move through the agony and channeled her Ethernano, never missing this huge chance to initiate her counterattack.

During this moment, Ultear also realized that she was actually closing in on the next ceiling. This prompted her to do a backflip to regulate her speed, and managed to use it as temporary footing once she touched it.

She was the one who bounced back first from the exchange, and graced herself with a clear sight on her target.

The orb that floated just right above Vandis multiplied, covering all of his surrounding angles.

"Infinite Sphere."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

All of them shot out in tandem, ricocheting with one another or with the walls to consistently create unorthodox trajectories.

BAM!

"Haha!" Vandis whipped to the side as he received a clean smack on his right cheek. "You're right about that! I seem to have underestimated you too much."

He didn't even look upset at being outwitted, and rambled like an eager maniac instead. The magic power that Vandis emitted only became stronger in response, meaning that he decided to take this fight even more seriously.

"My apologies for the crude display." Although he actually got hit again by a few afterwards due to his short instance of being dazed. "Working inside an office probably dulled my battle instincts."

Vandis evaded and parried the rest without struggle, his movements minimal yet efficient.

He looked sharper.

Terrifyingly precise.

Elegantly flowing with his water streams as if they were extra limbs.

And presented an uncanny expression that mixed calmness layered upon excitement into one.

The longer this drags on, the lesser options I have. Ultear fell from the ceiling as she chose a location to land on, while concentrating on the man who was preoccupied.

I just need an extremely huge opening, just one. Now that the fight has progressed to this stage, it was tethering on the edge of no return. She definitely knew that Vandis was aware of her intention to retreat, which is why he was simply relaxed this entire time.

She was about to attack before touching the ground---!

Whoosh!

!!

A water stream quickly got launched to intercept her midair, its speed beyond what was shown previously.

"Kughk!"

It wrapped around her like a bind, forcing her real orb to float alongside her.

Vandis actually focused on Ultear as he dealt with the spell, making sure to not fall for any cunning tactic similar to what happened a moment ago.

"Ran out of tricks, Ms. Mysterious?"

He gripped the body of the extended water stream that captured her.

Then powerfully yanked downwards.

Swoosh!

BOOM!

Vandis smashed the time wizard on the surface with vigor, producing a multitude of cracks and dust in the process.

Cough!

Cough!

This is… Ultear coughed, experiencing another wave of pain. This is the same type of stream that lifted me at the start of our fight.

Throughout the entire confrontation against him, the output of these bodies of water were ever-changing. Every attack had a different volume, making it a struggle for someone like her who can estimate the measure of a spell through her senses.

There was basically no rhythm to them, which is frightening since he never displayed it in an open manner. Ultear only noticed it as soon as she felt the shockwaves from the collision between their magic.

Vandis did it discreetly, not letting even the residuals spill.

It was an insane level of skill that was extremely rare, because there wasn't too many wizards that have such a degree of control. The singular individual that came to mind was Hades, and that was it.

"Should I take this as a surrender?"

Swoosh!

Krrrrrrkkk!

The dark wizard pulled the water stream ruthlessly, dragging her across the ground with great force.

"Kghk!" Ultear clenched her teeth as she reeled with lingering pain that stemmed from his previous attacks.

Once she was within his range, Vandis adjusted his grip to raise her up. She was now ragdolling towards him helplessly, seeing a left fist that aimed directly at her face.

BAMM!

Ultear's head recoiled as it whipped backwards, followed by a splatter of blood that came out due to the heavy hit. Only a static rumbled her perception afterwards, letting her feel the boundless might that radiated from one singular fist.

She got sent flying from the powerful strike.

However….

"You're very tenacious, I'll give you that." Vandis held the length of the stream tightly. "But even a strong-willed person must yield when they're being constantly overwhelmed, yes?"

He yanked Ultear towards him again.

"How long can you last?"

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

Vandis treated her like a ping pong, pulling then punching as if he were a machine. These weren't just ordinary strikes, they were lethal and accurate with the intention of subduing the opponent using dominance.

The relentless barrage went on for a while, their impacts ringing throughout the seventh floor. In fact, the place trembled because of the amount of magic power he emitted just by simple actions alone.

No... Losing consciousness here… will leave Meredy vulnerable. I must not let that happen…. Ultear's vision blurred, tethering between staying wake and falling into slumber.

Thud!

She bit her lip as she dropped on the cold hard ground, trying to ignore the immense pain all around her body.

"Wow, you're not budging an inch."

There's only that option left….

"That still won't stop me from roping you in my guild. Ancient Magic is that valuable, so maybe I'll stop once you're half-dead."

I didn't dare to use it, considering it would be an insult to her legacy….

Though we can end this fight right now, if you admit defeat without resistance."

Mother… forgive your sinful daughter just this once. I promise to wield it for Meredy's sake…

Ultear's figure suddenly released a frigid coldness, startling Vandis who merely waited for her response. Her expression hardened with the resolve to go beyond her limits.

"Ice-Make---!"

Rumble!

Rumble!

!!

The abrupt tremor below interrupted the tension as the both of them felt a huge presence of magic power gunning towards their direction.

It surprisingly matched Vandis in raw intensity and quality.

Combined with the rising temperature that countered Ultear's ice without problem.

Someone powerful is coming.

BOOOM!!!

Bundles of flames appeared from a spot where two silhouettes emerged. Vandis narrowed his eyes as he glanced behind him, wondering who was the individual that captured his undivided attention.

"Found 'em! Is she the one you're worried about?" A pink-haired young man appeared while carrying an injured young girl on his back.

"Yes!" The young girl's calm feature crumbled upon seeing her foster mother's condition. "Please help us."

"Don't worry, he's my target anyway." The pink-haired young man reassured her with a serious tone, then stared at Vandis. "I've been lookin' everywhere for ya, you bastard!"

Wrrnggg!

More flames manifested around him, unleashing boundless magical pressure that only landed on Vandis.

"Be ready to take the heat buddy, cause I'm fired up dammit!"

------------------------------------------

AN: (Big sigh.) I'm sorry about the late update again, guys. Frankly speaking, trying to adjust the word length is a bit harder than I anticipated. The outlines I created are there, so I just need to write them. But it's just a clash between me being patrick with a lab coat when it comes to planning, while also being patrick being unga bunga with a plank when it's time to write them.

Well, I can assure you that I'm writing everyday. Erasing and creating drafts on the daily. It is what it is, so a consistent schedule is a bit far off still. But I'll estimate I could get it solved by February I hope... Confidence is key I guess, lulz.
