It's been 17 years since I was reincarnated here in this world of gods.
This is a world where averyone can become a god which are beings that has their own personal world.
Every humans in this world have three chance to open their own realm to become a god. As such the beings living in this world are devided into two. The gods which are beings that are able to open their personal realm. And divines which are beings who ether failed and haven't open their god realm
Luckily for the divines after the war of the gods where the whole god civilization attack and invade other worlds. Many other ways were born to become powerfull.
Of course, becoming a god is still the mainstream way. After all being a god means having your own army and having the ability to produce their own resources.
For better chances to open a realm it's better for both parents to have open their own personal realm and become gods because that way the child will be closer to the laws of the world. For example, if a parent was a god of water then their children will be born with a water clergy, making it easier to become gods while also making their divine realm more complete like having a sea if they manage to open it.
That's why I am quite lucky to born into a family of gods instead of divines. My family is quite special, with most of them inheriting a special talent from my grandfather called gluttony giving the race that live in their personal realm the ability to become stronger by devouring other creature.
With this talent my grandfather was able to split from his own family and establish his own. Thanks to him, our family have breed an improve version of the kobold race, a race of humanoid dogs. This race became the race that most of my family members use as their belief race.
Unfortunately for me, I didn't inherit his talent. Instead I seem to have a special talent intead that seem to appear due to my reborn status. I call it "Degenerate", it gave me the ability to decompose an item into smaller parts that I can then fuse or split agein however I want. It also allows me to analyse the properties of certain items.
With this skill, I was able to collect many interesting items.
- Forest of life card , a forest form by fusing multiple tree cards, animal cards, and the life attribute of a tree of life branch. This forest is full of vitality and can be placed in the divine realm.
- Giant Mountain card, a special mountain gain by fusing a mountain with the heart of of a space giants. This mountain have the ability to make space of a divine realm more stable.
- Blue river Card, a card made by fusing multiple river cards, lotus purification cards, and water plants cards. This river have the ability to clean itself due to it having tiny microorganism that has the ability to eat pollution, trash, etc.
These three cards are the main items I collected to give myself an edge in this god race. I also collected some race cards that I decompose into special organs cards. I plan to create my own race. That way I can hopefully gain the creation priesthood.
Now you might be wondering why all of them are in the form of cards. A long time ago, when the god civilazation started to realized the existence of other worlds. One of the world they invaded was the card world. A world where cards are used to seal magic and beast to be used as tools to fight.
After defeating this world, the gods improve it, giving birth to the god cards which are used to store anything from a whole realm to tiny animals. This gave birth to a profesion called the card makers. Which are profesionals who store items into cards and even improve it. They can do this through the use of divine power which is an energy that every human in this world have. This is also what grants them the ability to open their divine world. It alsp what seperates them from the humans in other world.
This profesion is practically the same as my degenerate talent. It's just my talent gave me instict on how to do it. While people in this profesion have to study and practice very hard to be able yo do even a fraction of what I can do.
As part of a god family, I was able to gain access to this profession. I use this profesion to hide my talent. Showing myself as a genius in the card profesion instead of having a special talent. After all, it's beter to have some trump cards hidden.
Currently my family consist of one middle grade god which is my grandfather. Five low grade gods which are my grandma, mother, father, my aunt, and her husband. Then there are multiple demigods which are my twin brother Kael, and my big brother Theodore. As for the rest, there are me and my three cousins who are all divines.
In this world people who opened their divine realms are called demigods. In this stage, they would try to improve their divine realms and raise some belief races to gain some faith that can be use to condence divine power. They will also try to gain a clergy that can be used as their godhead. The divine power gain will be used to light their priesthood and melt it so that it can become a godhead. The moment the godhead is formed then it will be the day they become a low tier god.
After that, they lifespan will be unlimited and they will try to improve and complete their divine realm depending on their godhead. For example if the god is a god of fire, then they will try to improve the law of fire in their divine realms.
After becoming a low tier god, some gods would fuse their divine realm with each other to form a pantheon. There are many benefits for doing this. For example if a god of water, a god of the earth, and a god of the sky fuse their divine realm with each other. Then they would gain a powerfull boost in their power.
After all, The sky of the three divine realms would become one so the skywould become stronger and the god of the sky would also become stronger.
Other than becoming stronger, there is also a tradition where gods who are married would fuse their divine realm. For example my father as a god of war fuse his godrealm with my mother who is the goddess of plants.
