Slowly, Lucas opened his eyes. Every part of his body ached. He groaned in pain and managed to push himself up, barely standing. He glanced at his phone—it was 3:09 AM.
"Shit…" he muttered under his breath, then began staggering toward home.
But despite the agony, he felt something… different.
For the first time in his life, he had broken free of his chains. He had fought back. Yes, he got the worst beating of his life—but he had landed a punch. And for Lucas, that meant everything. He had stood up to his bullies.
As he limped through the street, his mind drifted to what might come next. They'll definitely come after me again, he thought. Maybe even worse than today. But something had changed within him. He was no longer the same. No matter how badly he got beaten, he would never go back to being their punching bag again.
As those thoughts swirled in his mind, he stepped into the street without noticing the red light.
The last thing he saw was a blinding white light and the sound of a horn.
CRASH.
His body rolled nearly three meters across the ground. He could feel it—every bone in his body was broken. Blood spilled across the asphalt. He turned his head weakly and saw the truck that had hit him.
He was dying.
Tears welled up in his eyes. His dreams… gone. On the very day he found the courage to fight back, it had all ended.
"DAMN YOU! DAMN ALL OF YOU!" he cried out, sobbing. Life had been unbearably cruel. He envied everyone else. He was about to die… before ever truly living.
"Damn the gods. Damn fate. Damn everything!" he screamed inside.
All he ever wanted was a normal life. To laugh, to feel warmth, to be loved. But despite everything he had done—despite all his struggle—this was how it would end?
His blood continued to spill, his tears mixing with it on the cold pavement.
Meanwhile...
Beyond the universe, beyond time and space, in a place where even the gods dared not step—a place where reality and existence themselves unraveled—a golden cube floated alone in the void.
From a distance, it looked like just an ordinary cube. But it wasn't. This place, this Void, devoured all things: life, soul, time, destiny—nothing could survive here.
Nothing… except that cube.
It was so powerful that even the emptiness itself bent around it, unable to touch it.
And then—it moved.
The cube began to shake. It expanded, unleashing a massive wave of energy. Worlds, galaxies, entire realms trembled. Even the Void quivered under its power.
Every divine being, every cosmic entity, felt it.
And they panicked.
Their instincts screamed at them—This thing must be destroyed. But none dared act. Even the ripple of that energy nearly shattered their consciousness. If they approached it directly… their souls might be erased.
So they watched, frozen in fear.
The cube glowed brighter than ever and began moving—fast. So fast that even the gods couldn't track it. It vanished from the cosmic plane and entered a small planet—Earth.
And there, it sank into the body of a dying boy.
It merged with his soul.
No one noticed. No one could.
Just as Lucas's eyes began to close, he heard a sound:
[DING!][Host found...]

At that moment, a golden light burst from Lucas's chest—and his soul vanished from Earth completely.
