Chapter 30 - 30

Although Ron and Peter returned a bit late due to the Hulk and Abomination incident, Uncle Ben's birthday party still proceeded smoothly and ended perfectly.

After leaving Uncle Ben's house, Ron flew back to his secret base, preparing to conduct some experiments with the Abomination's body.

Upon arriving at the secret base, Ron looked at the unconscious Abomination lying on the ground, smiled, and then cautiously began to erase all memories from the Abomination's consciousness using his mental power.

Yes, the Abomination was not dead, of course. When Ron was making the Abomination collide with the Hulk, he was also hypnotizing the Abomination with his mental power.

Ultimately, under the dual heavy injuries to its body and mind, the Abomination merely fell into a state of suspended animation, not truly dying.

Although Ron wanted to use the Abomination for experiments, the experimental subject Ron wanted was not a corpse.

While a dead Abomination might have some use, compared to a living one, a dead Abomination could be said to be worthless!

The Abomination was a good thing; it possessed a body almost as powerful as the Hulk's and could maintain its sanity. Ron had researched many good things, and these things all required a sufficiently powerful creature for experimentation.

And the Abomination was precisely the most suitable experimental subject for this.

However, the Abomination's original memories were troublesome; he was too obsessed with the Hulk, as if the Hulk were his sworn enemy, clinging to him relentlessly. This was not a good thing.

What Ron needed to do was erase the Abomination's memories and then turn him into a creature that would obey him!

For Ron, who possessed a singularity and omni-directional psychic abilities, this was not difficult.

The Abomination lived up to its name; even though Ron had put him into a state of suspended animation, his will was still incredibly powerful. Even with Ron's current strong mental power, it took him several hours to turn the Abomination's will into a blank slate.

Next, Ron implanted a spiritual force into the Abomination's will, turning him into a creature that would only obey him!

Ron's face showed a faint smile as he watched the Abomination slowly awaken.

Then, a green reagent suddenly appeared above the Abomination, emitting smoke and looking incredibly eerie!

... The next morning, Ron, for once, went to Empire State University, preparing to attend some classes.

With the Abomination as an experimental subject, some of Ron's plans had already been put on the agenda. He temporarily lost the desire to conduct research and decided to take a break.

If nothing unexpected happened, the events that occurred in Harlem, Manhattan, New York last night would surely spread throughout New York and even North America today.

This was not the most crucial point. The crucial point was that for the past few months, the government had been listening to public opinion, hoping to get the public to pass the Mutant Registration Act.

And the battle between the Hulk and Abomination in New York last night would certainly be attributed to mutants, adding a significant weight to the successful passage of the Mutant Registration Act.

Sure enough, as soon as Ron arrived at Empire State University, he saw several people gathered at the entrance, discussing last night's events...

"Hey, Dave, did you hear? Yesterday, two three-to-four-meter-tall mutant monsters appeared in Harlem, New York, destroying the city. Fortunately, a man in black intervened in time and dealt with the two monsters, otherwise, who knows what would have happened!"

"Yeah, I saw the news too. These mutants are really dangerous. I heard that because of those two mutant monsters, more than a dozen people have died. It's truly unfortunate."

"Exactly, if you ask me, this Mutant Act must go through. Otherwise, if one day a big monster appears while I'm sleeping and smashes my house and kills me, where would I go to cry?"

"Come on, Allen, if you're smashed to death, how can you cry?"

"That's true... Oh, by the way, I heard that besides those two mutant monsters and the man in black last night, I also heard that a person dressed as Daredevil appeared. I heard he saved many people and then disappeared. Dave, Roger, do you think these two guys might also be mutants?"

"I don't think so. Mutants have always been the dregs of society; they wouldn't be so kind as to save people. These two must be superheroes like Captain America and Daredevil, don't you think?"

"I think so too. Oh, by the way, New York's Daily Bugle even gave these two superheroes titles. The person dressed as Daredevil is called Spider-Man, and the man in black who can fly in the sky is called Sky-Man. These two names sound pretty good, don't they...?"

"Allen, what kind of aesthetic is that? The name Spider-Man is indeed not bad, but what about Sky-Man? That's too ugly, isn't it? The man in black is my idol, how can my idol have such an ugly name? No, I must give my idol a better title..."

"Oh, by the way, how about Skywalker, hehe, what do you think?"

"Dave, I know you like 'Star Wars,' but don't call the man in black Skywalker, okay? Sky-Man clearly sounds better!"

"Sky-Man sounds good!"

"It's Skywalker, Skywalker! Ah!!! Allen, if you keep disagreeing, I'll fight you!!!"

"Uh... Alright, alright, Skywalker, Skywalker, I'll listen to you, okay...?"

... After listening to the conversation of these guys, Ron shook his head inwardly, preparing to enter the school.

He wasn't interested in either Sky-Man or Skywalker; such titles were too superficial and useless to Ron.

However, just as Ron was about to enter the school, a conversation from another group of people caught his interest.

After hearing their conversation, Ron also took out his phone and opened the news interface.

"According to reports from frontline reporters, our station has confirmed that Tony Stark, the head of Stark Industries in New York, was attacked by terrorists yesterday afternoon while demonstrating Stark Industries' newly developed Jericho missile in Afghanistan. More than a dozen U.S. soldiers accompanying Tony Stark as protection have all been killed."

"As of early this morning, the bodies of the more than a dozen accompanying soldiers have all been found, but Tony Stark's body has not been discovered. Our station believes that Mr. Stark was abducted by terrorists, but currently, no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for this. Please stay tuned to our station; we will continue to bring you follow-up reports..."

This was a news item just released this morning, and like the events in Harlem, New York yesterday, it was today's top story. Almost all news media reported on these two events.

Seeing this news, Ron smiled.

Tony Stark has gone missing. A few months later, the most important member of the Avengers, Iron Man, will make his debut!
